Blog Sketch Challenges

Happy Saturday!
Have I ever told you girls what a FANTASTIC husband I have????
I was going to mention him today when I posted my card I made for Beate's sketch challenge because he bought me some new stamps while we were out yesterday....BUT today he was out by HIMSELF shopping and LOOK at some goodies he brought home for me!!! He said he found a new scrapbooking store on the other side of the city and they were having a 30% off sale so he couldn't pass it up! LOL...gotta love him eh?!
This Halloween card I made this morning for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge #16. This was a GREAT sketch again! Thanks Beate!!! Oh and I can't wait to give that address book tutorial a go this afternoon!!! Will post that tomorrow.
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Stampendous and Hero Arts(sentiment)
Cardstock: Lavendar Lace, Basic Black, WW and KI Memories DP
Inks: Black Stazon, Elegant Eggplant, Lavendar Lace, Pumpkin
Accessories: Tangerine Ribbon, Corner rounder punch, 1 3/8", 1 1/2", Scalloped Circle Punches, 2 way glue pen and Iridescent Ice Powder, Dimensionals

This next card is for Jen's challenge at i{heart}2stamp. I look forward to her Saturday challenges as well! I tried to keep a nice clean look to this card but I'm not sure if I accomplished that. Maybe the DP makes it too busy. I didn't add any sentiment to this one so I can use it for basically anything.
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Autumn Leaves both Swirls and Flowers
Cardstock: Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, WW and Soft Sky Prints Paper
Inks: Blue Bayou and Soft Sky
Accessories: 2 way glue pen and Iridescent Ice Powder, Blue Bayou and Soft Sky Double Stitched Ribbon and Dimensionals

More GREAT cards - loving the Halloween ones. And I'm not a fan of that kind drab blue - but that card is really pretty.

Great cards--both of 'em. I so love the one you made for Beate's sketch. Totally cute and how did you get a husband that would buy you stuff at the scrapbook store? Lucky!

That is so sweet for your husband to pick you up some goodies!!

I love your Halloween card you made for Beate's sketch!! I love how you colored each witch differently, and the paper you used.

Your card for Jen's challenge is super pretty and elegant. The pattern is so subtle, that it is not busy at all.

Great stuff, and I can't wait to see your book. ;)
