SCS sketch card

Good Evening!
Today on SCS is the Sketch Challenge. I REALLY enjoy this challenge a lot. I decided to pull out another old retired set that hasn't seen ink in ages! Love Without End. I think I stamped the stem upside down...haha! Did you notice?
Stamps: Love Without End
Cardstock: Wild Wasabi, So Saffron, WW and Uptown DP
Inks: Wasabi, Saffron, Amethyst
Accessories: 1/2"circle punch, dimensionals, Slit Punch, Double Stitched Grosgrain Wasabi
I love these Verve Visual Stamps! Such wonderful sayings in this Serenity set. I cuttlebugged the Saffron layer for some extra dimension. The flowers were stamped in Saffron and then sentiment in Artichoke over top. It's hard to tell in the picture but the ribbon is a darker Artichoke colour. For some reason it looks black in this pic. That little flower is from the bucket I bought at Michael's in the wedding department. Thanks to Lauren for the heads up on those ;)
I also used a Dew Drop from the Flame bottle for a little pop!

Stamps: Verve Visual Serenity; Cardstock: Artichoke, Saffron, WW; Inks: Saffron, Artichoke; Accessories: CB background, May Arts Ribbon, White Organdy Ribbon, paper flower, Dew Drop

Thanks for stopping by today!

ATTENTION Marisa: I just saw your comment about the flowers and Dew Drops in Canada....well I am in Canada too...I got the flowers at one of the stores here in Edmonton. As for the Dew Drops I bought mine from Peggy at PaperWorks Co. in Edmonton. You can buy them from her online or if you are close enough...just pick them up from her personally ;) Hope that helps you some!

Lovely cards, the both of them. I love that Vevre set -- just got it so have to ink it up!! I never even noticed the stem was upside down on the other card. I actually fave'd it on SCS since I liked it so much.

Thanks for the reminder about the flowers in the wedding dept. at Mike's. Read that on Lauren's blog and promptly forgot about it. Hope the Mike's in Canada carry them as they don't have the dew drops she talked about up here :(

I found some of the dew drops at Michael's just where Lauren said they would be. Then one day I went to the Dollarama (in Saskatoon) and they have tons of them. Blues, greens, oranges, yellows, pinks - all for a dollar!!! I had already bought the clear and the pinks from Michael's for around $4.00 (they are regular $6.somthing and I used a 40% off coupon). If you live near a Dollarama definitely check it out.
