How to do a curly label decorative edge

I've had a lot of questions and emails since I posted the card using the Curly Label Punch for a decorative edge.
I'm going to explain it how I do it...it might not be how others do it....but I hope I can explain it well enough for you to try it too!
First thing I do is draw a straight line on the backside of my paper to use as a guide.
Then I line up my curly punch as you see here in the photo. I like to punch just above the line. Also I like to start in the center or there about :)
Here is after one punch.
I line up the next one...see the red arrow...can you see how there is a small space...overlap the punch as I did. Continue doing that in both directions. This will create the peaks going down.
Here it is finished :)
Hope you can understand what I've done! If you have questions...give me a holler!
Have a great night!

Oh my, thank you so much! I've been messing with this since I saw your card this morning. Never occurred to me to draw a line first! Duh! :)

Very clever. And thank you for explaining how you did it because, honestly, I don't think I would have figured it out. That's why I love your blog. You post daily and I get so much inspiration from it. Thanks again!

What a cool idea! I used to have scissors edged like this, but I have misplaced them. I'm glad to find an easy alternative! Thanks!
