Branching Out

Good Morning!
I'm so glad it's Sunday! It's race day! lol
Yesterday was spent cleaning and doing laundry which isn't fun but nice to get it out of the way. Actually Brian finished the last load for me :) I had to run out to the grocery store to pick up something for dinner and he said he'd fold the last load. LOL...when I got back he was STILL folding that load...I didn't dare tell him he'd folded the towels wrong ;) I'd probably never get help again....haha!
Stamps: Branching Out; Cardstock: PTI white, Pacific Point, Choc chip, Good Morning Sunshine dp; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Ric Rac Scallop Pierceability, Primas, Flower Fusion, Silver brad, Dimensionals
I adore this Branching Out stamp set from Taylored Expressions. Between this set and the Branching Out Coordinates there are so many possibilities to be made! I've used Jen's SFYTT for the layout on this card. Don't you just love that Ric Rac Scallop Pierceability?? So fun!
Thanks for stopping by today! I'll be planted in front of the big screen watching the Nascar race! Go Jeff Go!

SCS sketch cards

Good Morning!
The weather here is nasty and I'm wishing for spring to stay for good! Chloe has another ear infection and this wind isn't helping the ear pain. Hoping today isn't quite so windy!
Yesterday I had some time after errands to work on the SCS sketch and managed to make two cards. This first one has no stamping but is a SU! only card ☺
I really enjoyed the sketch and wanted to make another card. This time I used the cute set from Taylored Expressions called Branching Out. I stamped the birds a second time on scrap paper, coloured and popped them up. I LOVE Pacific Point with Choc Chip....good thing I'm stockin' up on it before it retires ;)
This card screams spring to me! I can't wait to have some wonderful flowers planted just like this flower box! Here I've used the Mother's Day Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions along with the Fresh Flowers stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Taylored Expressions April KI Subscription Project

Today the newest Key Ingredients Subscription Release from Taylored Expressions is available. If you haven't heard about or signed up for this amazing deal you really need to check out all the details. Taylor does a fantastic job getting all the perfect coordinating supplies together.
For my project I've chosen to make an acrylic post it note/memo board and card for a friend's upcoming birthday next month. Along with the April KI Subscription Kit I used the super cute Downtown Diva.
It was really hard to get a shot of this acrylic post it note memo board because of the glare. This angle was the best I could do...lol
I started with a 5 x 7 acrylic frame. The prism cardstock, designer paper, image and flower ribbon is all inside the frame to protect it ;)
I cut a piece of cork down to 2 x 2 and glued some of the flower rhinestones from the April KI kit to the top of some tacks with Glossy Accents. Now I have pretty push pins to hold notes or whatever :) A small pink post it note was attached too. Be sure to use good tape like Sticky Tape to adhere the post it notes and cork board.

Here is a close up of the card. I LOVE that the glitter is ultra-fine because it sticks to anything! I ran this Heidi Swapp Ghost Flower through my Xyron machine to make it sticky....dumped on the Rapture Blue glitter....tapped off the excess and viola....it's so pretty!

For the flower rhinestones I used a mini glue dot to stick them to the pretty satin ribbon.

This card measures 5 x 5.

Today half of the Baker's Dozen have projects using this April Key Ingredients Subscription so stop on by to see them!
Sankari Wegman
Thanks for stopping by again!

Here's the scoop...

Good Morning!
I'll have two posts for you today but the next one won't follow for a few hours ;)
I've got a lot to do as I type this so I'll just give you some quick details. If you need more info holler at me :)
This card was made for the Featured Stamper 115 on SCS yesterday. I chose to CASE this card HERE. This was my first time drawing and colouring a wood floor...I like the end result but will need to practice more.
This card was made using a sketch on Karen Giron's blog here. I decided to make mine more masculine that could be used for a birthday card or get well....you know?
Thanks for stopping by!

Hive Sweet Hive SFYTT

Good Morning!
Before I would allow myself to stamp yesterday I HAD to clean the basedump. I've been putting it off far too long. It looks pretty good now and should stay that way until next November when I start pulling out all the Christmas stuff...haha...that's when it turns into a disaster area ;)
After I ate some lunch I sat down to stamp! I used Jen's SFYTT.
The images were stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with my aqua painter and inks.
Stamps: Just Buzzin' By; Cardstock: Bashful Blue, So Saffron, WW, WC paper and Delicate Dots DP; Inks: Versafine Black, Summer Sun, So Saffron, More Mustard, Blush Blossom, Choc Chip, Bashful Blue; Accessories: Aqua painter, Mat pack and Paper piercer, Bashful Blue ribbon, Nesties, Stardust stickles, Dimensionals

Cheep Talk Sketches

Happy Saturday and Happy Race Day!
Today I have four cards to share with you :)
All of them use the Cheep Talk stamp set and the Good Morning Sunshine DP! They are mostly Stampin' Up! with the only non-SU! being the rhinestones.
This first card is for Lauren's Saturday Sketch. Isn't this card so fresh and fun? I really like how it came out.
This is the sketch for this week! This is the weekend sketch #77 challenge that is being hosted by Lori this week.
This sketch comes from Amy's blog and you can find the sketch here. I flipped this sketch :)
This sketch comes from Taylor's TECC64 on her blog. I turned this sketch also :)

A mish mash of projects

Good Morning!
I have a few things to share today and I do hope you enjoy them!
This first card was made using Cindy's sketch in the MFT forum on SCS. This is sketch #77.
I was excited to use some of my new nesties that I picked up from PaperWorksCo.
I've been practicing more and more with my Copics and shading a bit. I think I'm improving...what do you think?
Stamps: By the Seashore; Cardstock: Kiwi, Riding Hood Red, White and Scenic Route DP; Inks: Memento black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Silver brads, Curly label punch, Paper piercer, Dimensionals
This week the girls at All That Scraps are doing a review of a newly released set called Tweet-ies and you can see what fantastic cards have been made by stopping by the ATS Blog. I coloured this cute image with my SU! watercolour pencils and an aqua painter. The sketch comes from my Baker's Dozen team member Karen Giron.
Stamps: Tweet-ies, AmyR Birthday Sentiments; Cardstock: Really Rust, Choc Chip, WC paper and DP; Inks: Black Stazon, SU! Watercolour Pencils; Accessories: Aqua painter, Choc satin ribbon, button, linen thread, wavy border punch
The Ways To Use It Challenge on SCS was called Framed. You could interpret it anyway you liked ;) I decided to make myself a post it note holder with a 5 x 7 acrylic frame. The post it notes had the cute grass/flowers on the bottom already.
Stamps: Trendy Trees; Cardstock: Old Olive, WW and Haiku dp; Inks: Choc chip, So saffron, Tangerine, Old olive; Accessories: Acrylic frame, Post it Notes, Tangerine ribbon, SAMJ, Mat pack and Paper piercer

Inspired by my friend

Good Morning!
Well our snow is pretty much gone AGAIN ;) It's going to be quite warm this weekend...think I'll have to pull out my capris soon!!!
Yesterday my girlfriend Sandy came by to stamp with me. She is my walking partner and keeps me going each night...even when I TRY to get out of it...she keeps me motivated!
When I saw the SCS sketch challenge I immediately thought of the Season of Friendship set. The image panel needed something large and the tree was perfect for it!!
Stamps: Season of Friendship; Cardstock: Choc chip, Regal rose, Pumpkin pie, WW and Sweet Always dp; Inks: Choc chip, Regal rose, Pretty in Pink; Accessories: Scalloped edge punch, Silver brads, Martha butterfly punch, Martha pearls, Dimensionals
Since Sandy doesn't have a blog or a SCS gallery(although I'm trying to talk her into one) I thought I'd share the card she made for the sketch challenge. Her card uses the Inspired By Nature set. I think her card turned out GREAT!
Thanks for stopping by today!
