You're On My Mind FS194

For last weekends Featured Stamper, Lynette. She had a really clean and crisp card here that I thought I'd CASE.

I used some pretty MFT felt along with some dies.

The flowers come from PTI and the leaves come from MFT. The sentiment is from the Blooming Button Bits PTI set.

We should be settling into our new house as you read this. I'm taking a couple of days off work in hopes of getting a LOT done while Chloe is at school and Brian is at work ;) Oh and I'll sneak in a bit of stamping too!

Have a wonderful day!

We'll Be Friends Forever....The End

Before packing up the last of my stamping stuff last weekend I sat down to create a card using Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #90.

I rotated the sketch to accommodate my WTG Well Read stamp.

This Cosmo Cricket Pixie-licious DP was some that I HAD to have but I've had a lot of difficultly using it. It's bright and happy which is usually the style I go for but there is something too bright about it.

We move tomorrow! I'll be off line for a couple of days but should be back in business by the beginning of the week!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Tag You're It

Welcome to the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club Challenge!
Today we're playing Tag You're It!
Create a tag or a project with a tag on it and upload to SCS using the keyword MFTWSC10271010 for your chance to win a MFT gift certificate!
I've created two tags to share with you today!
This first one features one of my favourite sets that I purchased last year called A Scarf for Three. See those cool felt snowflakes? They were made with some MFT felt and the new Let It Snowflake Die-namics.
My second tag was something I whipped up to include in a little goodie basket for a friend who has been ill with the flu! This super duper cute PI Girl called Best Medicine has only been inked once or twice. With the flu season among us she's sure to see TONS of ink soon ;)
Thanks for stopping by today! Visit the MFT Blog sometime after 11am Eastern today to see a list of all the girls playing along!

Faith & Hope

Happy Monday!

Well only 5 more days until our big move! Whew! It's been a crazy weekend organizing, packing, cleaning....oh and stamping ;) I'm officially all packed up now. It's a sad day :( I'm actually happy to be out of town all week and not looking at all these boxes....ack!

While I still had some supplies out on my table from a couple of days ago I thought it would be nice to make another using them.

This sentiment comes from the Taylored Expressions set Faith & Hope.

The felt flower was created using the Rolled Flower and the leaves were make with the Flower Trio & Leaf Trio Die Duo.

Bookends and Friends SFYTT

Happy Saturday!

I took a little break this afternoon from packing to stamp. Sometimes you just need to....kwim? So far I'm on box #23 for my kitchen...maybe I have too much stuff? ha!

This card was made using Jen's SFYTT from today.

The only stamps I have left out are PTI, MFT, Taylored Expressions and Verve. I chose to use a PTI set called All Booked Up.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a GREAT weekend!

It's In The Bag!

This week the MFT Wednesday Challenge Crew are decorating!

It's in the Bag! - Decorate a gift sack or treat bag. Think Halloween, Christmas or Birthday.

I made a little gift box for Chloe to give to her teacher. Her last day before we move is a little more than a week away now :(

Chloe hasn't decided what sweet treat she is going to put in this but I'm sure we'll tuck a gift card or two inside as well ;)

I stamped the sweet Apple For You onto white cardstock with Memento black ink and coloured with Copics.

We hope that you'll play along with us for your chance to with a gift certificate to MFT! Remember you don't have to use MFT images but you must upload to SCS using keyword MFTWSC10202010 so we can find your creations!

Snow Friend

Another goodie I picked up at the LSS on Saturday was a new Inkadinkado set called Snow Friends. I don't honestly know if it's NEW but it's new to me ;)

Jen had a wonderful SFYTT posted and the snowman image fit perfectly in the oval nestie. Love when things come together so nicely :)

I really like to stamp and colour on kraft but prefer to use my Prisma Pencils. Unfortunately, they are packed :( Copics do a nice job too!

Stamps: SnowFriends; Cardstock: Kraft, Choc Chip, Crate Paper 6 x 6 pad; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, MFT Die-namics Open Scallop, Mat pack and Paper piercer, Ribbon, White Sparkly Candy Dots, Dimensionals, Stickles, MFT Snowflake Die-namics, Glitter

Let it Snow

I told myself I did NOT need to buy anything else before our move but my car was pulling me toward a local scrapbooking store yesterday. You know...just to check it out because I knew they wouldn't have anything good...no way...ha!

I walked out with some new papers and ribbon! Fun!

Isn't this Echo Park designer paper CUTE?! I love it! So colourful!

Since most of my stamps are packed I had to dig through a box to find my favourite Penny Black Snowman image.

Pretty quick and simple layout.

Stamps: Penny Black; Cardstock: White, Kraft, Pink Pirouette, Echo Park DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Ribbon, SU! Edge Punch, White Sparkly Candy Dots, Dimensionals

All is Calm, All is Bright

I almost forgot to share this card that I made last weekend with my MFT VIP package. I suppose it's a good thing because I haven't stamped since last Monday.

A pretty simple card using several new MFT goodies!

The stamp set is called Winter in the City. The snowflakes were made using a new die-namics and the glitter was part of the package too!

Stamps: Winter in the City; Cardstock: Plum Pudding, Vanilla, Cosmo Cricket DP; Inks: Memento black; Accessories: Copics, Glitter, 2 way glue pen, Let It Snowflake Die-namics, Sparkle Candy Dot, Circle Punch, Ribbon, Dimensionals

Thank You Apple

Here is one more thank you card I made for one of my stores. These people are new to me so they probably don't know that I stamp, make cards or give a card for every little thing....lol. Hope they appreciate them.

Again I've used another PI girl An Apple For You along with some scraps of the MME Quite Contrary DP.

That little flower was made with the MFT Rolled Flower Die-namics.

Thank You Sweet Girl

Happy Thursday!

How is your week going so far? Mine has been busy with some presentations at work and a little travel this week. In fact, I won't be home until dinner time tonight :(

Some of my stores have worked very hard these past couple of weeks getting ready for a lot of visitors to walk their departments. I really wanted to make them each a little thank you card to let them know how much I appreciate all the extra effort they have put forth. I'm proud of them!

Here I have stamped the super adorable PI Little Angel onto white cardstock with Memento black ink and coloured with Copics. How did I do with the shadow under her feet? I've been practicing that!

These pretty papers were found in a box while packing and they are from My Mind's Eye Quite Contrary Collection. Some ruffled ribbon and die-namics scallop finish it off!

Stamps: PI Little Angel; Cardstock: White, Black, MME dp; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Scallop die-namics, Ruffled ribbon, Word window punch, Dimensionals

Teacher Thanks TESC131

In a little less than 3 weeks we will be moving and in between working out of town and packing when I'm home I really need to get busy making something for Chloe's teacher.

Taylor had a great sketch posted on Friday. The TESC131 sketch seemed perfect for the little globe in the Make The Grade set from TE.

I stamped and coloured it with Copics. Nothing fancy on this card...just a lot of layers! ha!

The inside was stamped with the sentiment....You Mean The World To Me.

Stamps: Make the Grade; Cardstock: Real Red, So Saffron, Choice Buttercream, October Afternoon DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Scalloped edge punch, Mat pack and Paper piecer, Red Pearls, Dimensionals

Love You SFYTT

I had hoped to get more stamping done today but decided to go get my hair cut and coloured instead. It was time...lol! I went totally different this time and I love it! I will try to get a picture tomorrow :)

After dinner I said I HAD to stamp...dishes could wait!

I whipped up this quick card using Jen's SFYTT and one of the Unity KOTM's that finally arrived.

In less than one month we are moving and I need to get a move on when it comes to the packing. I made an executive decision today. My stamps will be the LAST thing I pack!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a GREAT weekend!

One Person SC301

Ohhhhhhh how good it was to sit at my stamp table last night! It's been far too long!!

I decided to ease back into stamping by using the SC301 sketch and one of my favourite Verve sets called One Person.

This October Afternoon Seaside designer paper is some that I picked up last weekend in Calgary. There are some really pretty patterns in the paper pad :)

I was in a rush to get a photo before the Oiler game started so the stickles hadn't dried yet...lol

Thanks for looking! Have a GREAT day!

Kindness

Last week while packing up more stamping goodies I came across some scraps of the October Afternoon Thrift Shop DP and decided to throw a quick card together.

This is one of Mercy's older sketches and worked well for the scraps.

The sentiment comes from a Verve set.

Just a Blog Hop!

Welcome to Just A Blog Hop. We were invited to put aside all of our stamping oriented obligations and deadlines and create something just for fun. The hop guidelines were simple: choose a challenge to play and choose either a new uninked stamp or an old favorite. Create a card and mail it to someone. What could be better to celebrate World Card making day?

So.....

When Taylored Expressions released this Feeling Groovy Stamp set a few months ago I had to get it for Chloe. If there is a VW bug out on the road she's calling "punch buggie green....no return"....haha! So this card is for Chloe! We are going to have a lot of changes still to come in the next several months and it's all for the better. I'm hoping she enjoys them and continues to be excited!

Taylor's TESC129 from a week ago was perfect for this image. Some funky Cosmo Cricket Pixie-Licious designer paper and some silver pearls finish the card off.

There is a whole bunch of talented people playing along today and if you should have come to me from Alice Wertz and now be stopping by Rosie Hughes but if you got a little lost along the way....no worries just hop on back to Jami Sibley and you'll be good to go again!

Thanks for stopping by to see me!

Stamps: Feeling Groovy; Cardstock: Orchid Opulence, Certainly Celery, White, CC Pixie-Licious DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Circle Nesties, Crystal Effects, Silver Pearls, Dimensionals
