A Little Birdie Told Me

Hello and happy Tuesday!

Gosh I haven't stamped in a few days. First it was the cold I caught last week and then it was a band concert last night.
I am hoping to get stamping tonight!

This MFT card was made a while back and I'm pretty sure I have not shared it with you.
This sweet PI girl is called You're So Tweet.
I'm sort of bummed right now....
Canada Post could possible strike as early as Friday! ACK!
How am I going to get all my stamping goodies?!
Bills I can do without....lol
Thanks for stopping by today!

My Little Love Bug

A while back I had to get this image from Stamping Bella for Chloe.
She has always had this fascination with VW Bugs.
You know the game....
Punch Buggy Blue....no return?
OMG....years later and we still play it....BUT no punching!
I bruise easily ;)

When I found this in the stash I knew I had to use it for the Sweet Stop Sketch #110.
Isn't she a cutie!?!
I added some Spica glitter pen to the hearts and some Glossy Accents to the wheels and headlights.
I have a super busy weekend ahead! I hope I can get all my DT commitments finished by late Sunday so I can watch the Nascar Race. I may not be coming up from the basement ALL weekend! LOL!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

That's why it's a challenge, right?
You'll find the sketch and details in the MFT forum on SCS.
Also on Kim's Blog you'll find a line up of designers who played along.

It's my thing...Vernors and Perogies

Hello!
This has been a wonderful weekend!
It's Victoria Day and I'll be home spending it with my family today.

I spent my weekend stamping, cleaning, cooking and having fun!
Here is a MFT card I created to send to a friend.
I've used a new WTG - Girls Rule.
I've also used a pretty die-namics called Decorative Doily.
Now onto something NSR...
These are some of the 12 dozen YUMMY homemade potato and cheddar perogies we made.
Karen surprised me with a ton of Vernors gingerale on Saturday!
I {heart} this stuff but can't get it here :(
Please ignore the mess on my counter...lol
I hope that you have a wonderful day! Enjoy your week!

Sweet Treats

Happy Sunday!

Ahhhhhh I'm only half way through my long weekend....still one more day to sleep in :)
Today I am spending the day making perogies....YUM!

Next Friday Chloe has a sleep over birthday party to go to at her friend Sarah's house.
Quite often, Chloe and Sarah, walk down to the 7-11 for either a slurpee or an ice cream cone.
So when Chloe asked me to make a card for Sarah's birthday I thought this adorable Pure Innocence Girl called Make Mine a Double would be perfect! The little sentiment comes from another set called Honey Bee.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hello!
Well it's the weekend and a LONG weekend to boot!
I long weekends!

This week there is another twist to the Sweet Stop Sketch.
Masculine!
You up for the challenge?
I don't know about you but I don't have a lot of masculine stamps and creating cards can be difficult.
I had to hold back from adding ribbon or buttons or flowers! LOL!
Here I used the Who's That Geek Guy from MFT.
On the inside I used one of the fun die-namics called Sweet Stack Label Dies.
Thanks for stopping by today!
I have a LOT of stamping to do this weekend in preparation for the upcoming MFT Sneak Peeks!

Wishing You The Best Day Ever

We made it to the weekend and it's a long weekend (in Canada)! LOVE it!

Hello and welcome to the MFT Hop & Shop VIP event!

This is something that I have always looked forward to each month!
It gives you the opportunity to get the newest Who's That Girl stamp set three weeks before it's released!!!
Who can pass that up?!!

If you just happened to have stopped by my blog you really should hop back to Kim's Blog and start from the beginning. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Here is the card I made using the WTG Enjoy The Ride.
I love to stamp and colour on kraft cardstock :)
For the inside I curved the sentiment on my clear block before stamping around the Open Scalloped Doily Die.
I had time to sneak in one more card before the hop and shop! Love when that happens!

Here are the die-namics I used on my cards:

I Never Want To Live Without You Mojo191

This looks to be a very busy week for at work.
I took advantage of some quiet time last night after dinner to make a card using the Mojo191 sketch.

After deciding on some designer papers from My Mind's Eye I chose this Text Objects set from Verve to go with them.
I think my husband will love this! It's not masculine by any means but it was made with ♥LOVE.
Stamps: Text Objects; Cardstock: White, Aqua Mist, MME dp; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Ribbon, Silver Pearls, Dimensionals

Let's Chat

Hello!
Wow did I have a busy weekend! The weather wasn't as nice as I had hoped. We had wicked winds which made it less than perfect for sitting outside. Hopefully next weekend we will have gorgeous weather!

Yesterday I stamped a little bit.
Getting ready for the week ;)

I finally had a chance to ink up this sweet PI called Color My World (looks like it's out of stock currently) from MFT.
I paired her up with some fun new MME dp from the Lime Twist Collection. The layout came from last weeks SCS sketch.
My second card was a quick CAS card for the Featured Stamper on SCS.
As soon as I saw the fun designer papers I knew I wanted to use the Say What? Stamp set and Die from MFT.
Thanks for stopping by today!

One Person SSS108

Hello!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Blogger doesn't have any more issues ;)

This week the Sweet Stop has another wonderful sketch with an optional twist....stamped backgrounds!
I pulled out a couple of Verve sets.
I stamped the leaf images from Bloom & Grow in Old Olive ink.
The sentiment comes from One Person.
This was a different style for me but I'm liking the shabby vintage look.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a GREAT weekend!

For my card I used the Friendship Blooms stamp set along with Friendship Blooms Dies.
The designer paper is from the Hometown Summer Designer Paper Pack.

Ribbon Carousel Challenge - Shabby Chic

Hello!

I'm extremely excited to be participating in my first Ribbon Carousel Challenge!

This week the challenge is shabby....vintage....shabby chic. Keywords are RCC2.

Ok I admit....I wanted to panic at first. I don't do shabby, chic or vintage. Now it's not that I don't {heart} the look, it just looks complicated and I figured I wouldn't be able to pull it off.
What do you think?
Did I distress enough? Make it shabby enough? Use the right elements?

I decided on some pretty Girls Paperie papers to get started.
Then I added in some wonderful dies and a pretty Verve sentiment from the Hope Blooms set.
Stamps: Hope Blooms; Cardstock: Kraft, Pink Pirouette, Girls Paperie DP; Inks: Black; Accessories: MFT Scallops, MFT Notebook Edge, Verve's Vintage Oval Die, Verve's Classy Label Die, Pearls, Sewing Machine, Lace, Ribbon, Prima Flower, Dimensionals
I bet you are excited to see what the other girls have created, right?
Pop on over to the Ribbon Carousel Challenge Blog and play along for your chance to win a prize!
Thanks for stopping by!

Friends by Heart, Sisters by Soul FS222

Happy Monday!

I trust you had a wonderful weekend?!
Mine was quiet but I like quiet sometimes :)

Yesterday morning while getting all my cards ready for the week I took a little break to work on a Featured Stamper card that I saw here.
I pulled out the new MFT set called Clearly Sentimental About Friendship which is the triple scoop this month...check it out!
That pretty flower was created with the Upsy Daisy Die-namics.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a GREAT start to your week!
