Dreams

Good Thursday Morning!
Ok so I'm not at Convention as you probably guessed but I am excited today!
Wii Fit says I'm "normal" hahaha! I LOVE that thing now!!
Here is a SU! card that I made with the SCS Sketch yesterday. I wanted a nice clean and simple card. I added a little bit of yellow stickles to the flower centers for an added punch.
Stamps: Dreams de Jour; Cardstock: Wild Wasabi, WW and Wasabi Prints Paper; Inks: Wasabi, Regal Rose, Stazon; Accessories: Paper Snips, Wasabi Ribbon, Dimensionals
Verve has a Project Parade going on the past couple of weeks and I'd wanted to play along but didn't have much time until yesterday. It was the first time I've ever made an ATC(artist trading card). I stamped the sentiment from Verve's Floral Whimsy in Tangerine and punched out a couple butterflies. One in Tangerine and one in Vellum CS. I think it's pretty straight forward ;)
Stamps: Verve Floral Whimsy; Cardstock: Tangerine, WW, Vellum and Chatterbox DP; Inks: Tangerine; Accessories: Oval Nesties, May Arts Ribbon, Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch, Ribbon Slide, Dimensionals and Pearls
Here I've added the ATC to a cardbase.

SUInk Back to School and SU! Live Your Dream

Good Wednesday Morning!
Where is everybody??? LOL! Stampin' Up! Convention??? It's so quiet here this week.
I'm happy to be showing you a card that I've had done for a couple of weeks, maybe longer but couldn't show you until today!! This is a new set coming out from Storage Units, Ink & More on August 1st. It's called A Touch of Class and there are many stamps in this set with a few sentiments....can't wait to show you a 3D project I've done with it....maybe next week....lol
Stamps: A Touch of Class; Cardstock: Core'dinations Grass Roots, WW and BG Oh Baby! Boy DP; Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black; Accessories: Copics, May Arts Ribbon, Chipboard Letters
The end of this years In Colours is coming to an end very soon. Groovy Guava was one that I could not stand when it came out but it sure did grow on me! I'll miss it, especially when I discovered last week that it looks nice with Riding Hood Red ;)
I was thrilled to see that Emily chose Groovy Guava, Sahara Sand and White for the CC. Such soft, pretty colours!

Stamps: Live Your Dreams; Cardstock: Groovy Gauva, Sahara Sand, WW and Afternoon Tea DP; Inks: Groovy Guava, Sahara Sand; Accessories: SU! Scallop Edge Punch, Paper Piercer, White Grosgrain Ribbon, Paper Snips, Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by today!

Happy Tuesday!

Happy Tuesday!
Yesterday I spent a few hours working on cards for the upcoming Dirty Dozen gallery then I developed a wicked migraine and all things came to a halt...ugh! Hoping to get a few more things done today though!
I'm showing you LAST Tuesday's Colour Challenge card....this is what I was meaning to show you yesterday...lol Sorry that you had to see my sketch cards twice...
I THINK the colours were Soft Sky, River Rock and Whisper White....at least that is what I see here in my card...haha!
I used the Bunny Slippers stamp set from MFT. I LOVE this stamp...it's totally adorable isn't it?!
Here's a journal that I'm going to give Chloe for our vacation travels next month. We usually buy her a little disposable camera and she snaps pictures of EVERYTHING. Then we get home she forgets where it was that she saw things...lol Hopefully having a little notebook to write a few memories down will help her when her film is developed ;)
Thanks for stopping by today!

Good Monday Morning!

Good Monday Morning!
I'm done with the DTGD challenges...yah! What an AWESOME week that was!! Yesterday I finished up most of my Design Team stuff for the month of August and started my Dirty Dozen Gallery cards. Today I am going to continue working on the DD cards so I don't know how much I'll have to share tomorrow....oh who am I kidding....you know there will be stuff here....lol
This is a card I started for Carole's DTGD Yo Yo Yellow, Brilliant Blue and Real Red Challenge and I ended up combining it with Natasha's DTGD sketch.
These colours screamed summer to me! What better stamp to pull out but this girl from Put Your Goggles On! She is from Storage Units, Ink & More.
I stamped this card a couple of weeks ago and never could decide on a sentiment or figure out where to put it....so blank it is. This card uses the bleeding heart from Flourishes again. I love this stamp! Pink Pirouette looks really pretty with Chocolate Chip.
I just realized that with all the DTGD cards I shared here this past week, that I'd forgotten to share my sketch cards from Wednesday. Yes! I did those too! I admit though, by the end of the week I had a hard time keeping up with all the challenges....lol
I love this Designer Paper. It's so bright and fun! It's by WeRMemoryKeepers and is one of the White Collections.
I had to make a second card for the sketch. It's a fab layout! Doesn't this monkey want you to run out and get an ice cream cone???!!! He's from the CC Designs set called Sweet Treats and is available from All That Scraps.

Good Sunday Morning!

Good Sunday Morning!
First I'd like to wish my daughter a VERY happy 9th birthday today! I snapped this picture yesterday before she headed over to a friends house for a sleepover. They were going to watch the Hanna Montana 3D concert!

Wow...where is the time going! I've got so much to do....lol

Feels like yesterday that I was announced as one of the Dirty Dozen on SCS and yet it was nearly two weeks ago!! You know what that means....I've only got a couple more weeks to get projects for this months gallery done...haha! Now that the DTGD challenges are winding down, I can get busy on those and a few Design Team commitments too!

Here is an ALL SU! card that I made using Rose Ann's Flap card tutorial. You should check it out on SCS ;)

My sample card for Rose Ann's DTDG flap card challenge. I LOVE making these little cards...they are so cute and quick!! Of course I had to use one of my favourite monkeys from CC Designs Summertime Fun set!
I was so excited to find a little itty bitty piece of my ALL time favourite American Crafts DP in my scrap box!!! I knew immediately what cupcake stamp to use with it too ;) THIS one...haha...it's from Unity Stamps. The sketch for this card came from Jen's DTGD sketch challenge. I actually had a hard time with this one....couldn't decide if the orange layer should be big or small...the sketch shows small but everyone seemed to do big....guess I'm an odd ball eh?!
Another ALL SU! card! Figured it was time to pull out and dust off my Wanted and Bronc Buster sets....feels like forver since I last inked 'em up! This card was for Laura's DTGD Dirty challenge...lol
Today is the last day for the Dare To Get Dirty Challenges to be posted....so come on over to SCS and play along! Remember you need to be a fan club member to get access to this part...sorry!

Our Creative Corner and a DTGD card

Good Saturday Morning!
It's time for another Our Creative Corner Challenge! This week Jennifer challenged us to make a Holiday Card for Christmas.
It's been so hot here lately that I haven't even thought about snow, cold, winter or Christmas. Unfortunately before we know it, it'll be here....lol
I used this ADORABLE reindeer from CC Designs. Isn't she the cutest?! She'll definitely be used often this year!! You can find this Reindeer Games Cha Cha Deer at All That Scraps.
Don't forget to check out all the other girls cards on the OCC blog~ They always amaze me with their talent! Stay tuned next week...I'm hosting the challenge ;)
Yesterday Joan's Challenge was Silhouettes. I loved Holly's sketch from the previous day so much that I used it again ;)
These two In Colours look so nice together...Groovy Guava and Riding Hood Red! I'll definitely be using them again real soon! I pulled out one of my favourite Verve stamps...Serenity.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Be sure to come by the Dare To Get Dirty Challenges today on SCS....it's my turn to share a sample I've made for Rose Ann's challenge! The new challenges will be posted later this morning.

DTGD cards and Ways To Use It

Good Friday Morning!
Today we are heading to the bowling alley and then coming back here for a DQ Ice Cream Cake for Chloe's birthday...it's Sunday :) I'm not sure how much stamping I'll get done today but I will squeeze some in later ;)
Holly always has the best sketches and this one for her DTGD Challenge was no exception! I've enjoyed it so much that I've already done another and you'll see that tomorrow! I wanted to make an All SU! card and almost pulled it off....lol I suppose if I had used my Coluzzle for the image panel, I could have done it. BUT nah....I like using my Nesties way too much! You can't tell in this picture but I used Shimmery White Cardstock and watercoloured the bird with Pink Pirouette and an Aqua Painter.
Sharon's DTGD challenge was Stamp Simply. She says to start with a simple design and stamp. Grab some of your favourite paper. Add your stamps and sentiment. Then top it off with a few simple embellishments. Well this is what I came up with! I don't think I have ever stamped on Designer Paper so simply before...I really like it! I'm sure to do this again!
Thursday's Ways To Use It Challenge was using the reverse of something. Like here....I used the outter chipboard after punching out a circle and a heart.
Thanks for stopping by!
Tomorrow you will see my sample for a DTGD challenge...but not first in the morning on my blog. I'll have it on the SCS DTGD thread at Noon Eastern. Hope you stop by to see it and play along!!

DTGD Challenges and another RAK!

Good Wednesday Morning!
Have you been playing along with the Dare To Get Dirty Challenges? I'm loving them and haven't missed one yet! These are my cards from the Tuesday Challenges.
This first one is from Julie's challenge. Wow...I've never made a card like this but I actually like how it turned out!
I think I fooled a few people for Christine's challenge ;) I was soooooooo tempted to pull out my favourite....Boatloads of Love but I resisted and challenged myself to use something else.
This card was for Michelle's challenge. I thought the sentiment went very well with the lighthouse image.
Check out this SWEET RAK from Nancy Morgan at Paper Smiles. She was so sweet to send it to me for making the SCS Dirty Dozen!!! Thanks bunches Nancy! I love it!
Come on and play along in the SCS Dare To Get Dirty Challenges...they are soooooooooo much fun!

DTGD Cards and some wonderful RAKS

Good Tuesday Morning!
What a great way to start the week! Monday kicked off the Dare To Get Dirty Challenges on SCS and you know I can't pass up a challenge....rofl
This first one was for Laurie's challenge. I wanted the sentiment from Verve to be the main focus but after cutting it out with my Nesties, I realized it was a little bare. So I decided to add some Dew Drops and a Martha Butterfly.
Don't you love the new Baja Breeze cardstock?? It goes really well with Soft Sky. This card was made for Jody's DTGD challenge on SCS. I added Stardust stickles to the image and smeared it right after I took the picture...good thing eh?
I decided to pull out my Prismacolour Pencils and Gamsol for this fabulous Annie LaPoint image from MFT. I haven't used this colour medium in ages! I used some of the new Baja Breeze cardstock with Crate Paper??? oh my...I need to take better notes on my scrap pieces....ok or maybe this is Tres Jolie??? haha!
It was a HAPPY MAIL day at the Easton house again Monday! I didn't get just one....I got TWO beautiful RAKS! Thanks girls!
This first one is from Christina from Flowers and Ink. This isn't just a RAK....it's an IOU of sorts for a FRUITY drink that she's buying me when we meet up...someday soon I hope! :) This one is from Jackie aka hpyscrpr2 on SCS. Check out Jackie's gallery...her work is amazing and I know she's busy right now getting ready for Convention but I miss seeing her in the daily challenges :(
Thanks for stopping by today!
Don't forget to pop on over to the SCS Dare To Get Dirty Challenge Threads and play along with us!! I'm having so much fun! New challenges are posted daily at Noon Eastern.
Also All NEW Little Paper Shop stamps are available to purchase today!

Good Monday Morning!

Good Monday Morning!
Today is my good friend Nancy Riley's birthday!!! Happy Birthday girl! I'm sure you all know her...so stop by and wish her a joyful day!
I made this card for her below....although she doesn't have it yet...haha....I just made it yesterday ;)
I used Cindy's sketch in the MFT forum. This is sketch 40 and there is a prize being given away...so RUN there and play along! Well wait....think my chances are better if you all don't play...rofl!
This has been on my To Do List since Friday and I finally got to it! Taylor's Cupcake Challenge number 25. When I found a scrap piece of this American Crafts DP in my box, you would have thought I hit the jackpot!!! I was so excited...lol
It goes sooooooooooo well with my new Unity Cupcake stamps!

Sundays bring the Featured Stamper and this week it is Susiestampsalot. She has a FABULOUS gallery...oh my! I had a hard time deciding which card I was going to CASE. I eventually chose THIS one. Loved her layout and how she showcased the sentiment. I followed suit!
In the Hanna Forums on SCS, Frances posted a sketch and Christmas in July Challenge. I don't have any Riley stamps so I pulled out this Hanna. She was a favourite of mine last year as was this colour combo of Wild Wasabi, Real Red and So Saffron.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Don't forget for you FAN CLUB members at SCS....today kicks off the week long Dare To Get Dirty Challenges! Come by and play!

Good Sunday Morning...Lots to Share!

Good Sunday Morning!
Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend! It's been very nice here.
I've had another productive weekend. Besides stamping I managed to get my lawn mowed, carpets shampooed, laundry done and the house dusted! After all that, I thought I deserved some good old stamping time! I've got a few cards to share with you today!
This first one is the last sneak peek from Little Paper Shop and is called Floral Wishes. Starting July 22nd you will be able to purchase all the new LPS stamps!!
Have you been the the Verve Forum at SCS lately? There is another challenge posted! It's an Inspiration piece and although I'm not a fan of these challenges, I did it....lol
I used the new Pacific Point along with Soft Sky, So Saffron and More Mustard.
It feels like it's been forever since I have done one of Jen's sketches! This one was super fun! I added some jumbo eyelets with rhinestone brads and another Heidi Swapp Ghost Flower. I LOVE those!
This is one of the first Unity Stamps I ordered but hadn't played with the images yet. Not sure why either...they are awesome! I made this card using Lauren's sketch that she posted on Saturday. I got a little dot happy eh? LOL I did add some Stardust Stickles to the image to give it some pizzazz ;)
Thanks for stopping by!
