Howdy, Friend

Good afternoon
I've been busting my butt cleaning and organizing the house today and finally I *had* to take a break.
What better way to relax than stamp? Right?
I was out of town this week so I needed to catch up on some challenges.
Here was the great MFT sketch from Wednesday....

Here is my card for the sketch.
I've also combined it with the Ribbon Carousel's Challenge #21 of using fabric.
Cleaning out Chloe's closet today I found an old pair of her jeans that no longer fit. Now normally I give these items away but then I'd have no demin to use ;)
Stamps: Well Worn; Cardstock: White, Riding Hood Red, DP; Inks: Black, Riding Hood Red; Accessories: Denim, Well Worn Dies, MFT Scallops, Sewing, Dimensionals, Lemon Tart Ribbon

I'm Busy Now...

Ahhhh it's the weekend and that means stamp time.
Love it!
Yesterday I had time to play along with the girls from the Ribbon Carousel and their Getting Punny Challenge.
I used the fun layout from MFT's sketch #37 again. Great sketch, eh?
Papers come from Echo Park Happy Days.
Here is a shot of the inside where I stamped a sentiment from the Twisted Foursome.

Ribbon Carousel Challenge - Cut and Paste

Hello!
I sure hope you'll join us at the Ribbon Carousel for our next challenge! The talented Jessie has a fun one this week!
I admit that paper piecing was never a favourite of mine. I used to cut myself a LOT! ha! BUT practice helps ;)
I decided to use some of the new-to-me Cosmo Cricket dp and the sweet PI Little Angel for my card today.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a wonderful day!

Ribbon Carousel Sketch Challenge

Hello!
I'm so excited for this week's Ribbon Carousel Challenge....a sketch!
My favourite!!
When I started this card I really wanted to make some pom poms with the Cotton Candy Twine BUT after several failed attempts and wasted twine, I had to go to "plan B". LOL!
I used the super cute MFT Pure Innocence Cheerleader.
Stop by the Ribbon Carousel Challenge blog and see what the girls have come up with! Play along with us this week!

Ribbon Carousel Challenge - Shabby Chic

Hello!

I'm extremely excited to be participating in my first Ribbon Carousel Challenge!

This week the challenge is shabby....vintage....shabby chic. Keywords are RCC2.

Ok I admit....I wanted to panic at first. I don't do shabby, chic or vintage. Now it's not that I don't {heart} the look, it just looks complicated and I figured I wouldn't be able to pull it off.
What do you think?
Did I distress enough? Make it shabby enough? Use the right elements?

I decided on some pretty Girls Paperie papers to get started.
Then I added in some wonderful dies and a pretty Verve sentiment from the Hope Blooms set.
Stamps: Hope Blooms; Cardstock: Kraft, Pink Pirouette, Girls Paperie DP; Inks: Black; Accessories: MFT Scallops, MFT Notebook Edge, Verve's Vintage Oval Die, Verve's Classy Label Die, Pearls, Sewing Machine, Lace, Ribbon, Prima Flower, Dimensionals
I bet you are excited to see what the other girls have created, right?
Pop on over to the Ribbon Carousel Challenge Blog and play along for your chance to win a prize!
Thanks for stopping by!
