Get Well Soon - SSS103

Hello!!

I'm so happy to be home and can't wait to stamp! I hope my mojo is still alive and kicking after a week! Yikes!

Luckily, I had my Sweet Stop Sketch completed before leaving for Vegas ;)

This week we are on sketch #103....wow time is flying!

Chloe has been playing with all my old CC Designs images and inspired me to pull out Nurse Nora.

I've coloured her with Copics and sponged a bit of So Saffron around the edges.

Our weather has been crazy this week with snow each night but then melts each day....makes for a messy drive...ugh yuck.

I made this card last Sunday using Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #109.

I pulled out one of my old CC Designs stamps from All That Scraps.

This one is Swiss Pixie Heidi. Isn't she adorable?! She's also available in digi.

Winter Skater

As I was sorting through some baskets of stamps last night, I thought it would be fun to use some of my older goodies. This image was one from my days on the All That Scraps design team. I can't recall the image name and it may be retired now since I can't find it in the store....sorry! It's a SugarPlum though ;)

All That Scraps does a challenge each week and I took a peek to see what it was....snowflakes! yeah!

Snowmen Make the Bestest Friends

Yeah it's the weekend!!!
I'm looking forward to hangin' out with my family. Maybe we'll do dinner and a movie! Fun times!
This was a card I made last weekend using a sketch from Inkspiration. I pulled out one of the cute CC Designs stamps from All That Scraps. The Swiss Pixies were always a favourite of mine and Christine does a fabulous job with them! This is Swiss Pixies Gretal. I can't recall which set or release the bench came from...sorry!

Whew yesterday was a long 15 hour work day....it sucked. Thankfully I don't have to do that as often anymore but sometimes it's necessary. Since I didn't get home until after 10 pm I had no time or energy for that matter to stamp.
I made this card using Mercy's sketch the other day. It's a pretty simple card that took no time to make! Love those kind!
The stamp comes from AmyR's Big Words which is available at All That Scraps.

I'm off today! Yippee! Not sure what my plans are exactly but I do have a list of things I'd LIKE to get done! Stamping is one of them!

Quite often I don't use sentiments on my cards because I can't decide what to use and this card challenged me because of that. Making a card with JUST a sentiment proved challenging but I CASED a card by Theresa for the Featured Stamper on SCS yesterday. This was her card here.

Today is my last day as one of Mercy's Guest Designers :( I've really enjoyed the last month and I'll continue to play along each week with everyone else :)
For this week's MTSC67 I pulled out an adorable image from All That Scraps called Heidi Among the Flowers. Spring is here! Our snow is almost gone. There is just a little bit around the hedge and if I wasn't so lazy, I'd get out there and spread it around the rest of the lawn...haha!

Cherry Emma

After work Chloe and I are heading to Calgary for a girly weekend! Should be loads of fun!

There are so many fantastic images in this LIMITED time kit that you can see HERE. I used two of the images on my card. The cute little boy and tree stump with mushrooms. Images were stamped onto kraft cardstock with Memento black and coloured with copics. A couple of highlights were added with my white gel pen and I was done!

Sunday was the Nascar race AND the Gold Medal hockey game!
Today I have a new Swiss Pixie from All That Scraps to share. This is Spring Birgitta. Isn't she sweet?!
She was coloured with copics and a little bit of dazzling diamonds were added to her wings. I used a gelly pen for the flower centers but you can't see it :( Sorry!

All Men Sentiments - ATS sneak peeks

Today starts the All That Scraps sneak peeks for March. Wow! Can you believe it's almost March already?!
AmyR has come out with a wonderful set called All Men Sentiments. Perfect for all those special men in your life!!
I wanted to keep this a simple card so I used a layout from Clean & Simple's FTL 76. Instead of adding ribbon I opted for a ribbon sentiment ;)

The release for the new stamps will be on Wednesday, March 3rd at 10 pm Eastern! ATS will be going back to release parties...so I hope you can join us in the forum that night!!

Flower Power

This is my second post for today....
I was so excited to have yesterday off work! I stamped and stamped! Made a total of 8 cards!! Pretty exciting, eh? LOL!
This cute monkey card was made with a new stamp from CC Designs called Flower Power and you can find it at All That Scraps. I stamped the image in Memento black and coloured with Copics. The flower part was stamped again, coloured, cut out and popped up. I changed the stitch on my sewing machine to a straight stitch but I don't like it as much and now I can't get it back to the zig zag stitch without it breaking. I'll need to play with the tension again...grrr!

Today is the DAYTONA 500! YEAH! I'm set to watch all the events today and I'm NOT leaving the house...nope! No way....no how!
