Happy Birthday

Sorry I've been MIA this weekend but I've had a lot going on and have not been in the mood to stamp. I'm exhausted....
I made a quick card for a friend using Taylor's Sketch #110 and a Stampendous set from Stampers Dream called Cupcake Numbers. The pattern paper is from My Mind's Eye Jack and Jill.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you've had a relaxing weekend!
Come back tomorrow for another Stamper's Dream card.

My love for American Crafts DP!

Good Morning!
Did you all enjoy the weekend?
Our weather was so nice on Saturday but Sunday...it was downhill...lol....lots of wind and blowing snow...YUCKY!
I stayed inside where it was warm and dry!
This was a card I made for Sunday's Featured Stamper Judy aka Jaydekay. I CASED her cards HERE.
I love this American Crafts DP and matching ribbon!! It's so bright and fun!!
Stamps: Stampendous Changito Bouquet, Best Yet; Cardstock: Old Olive, Choc chip, White and American Crafts DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: American Crafts Ribbons, Copics, Rectangle nesties, Small corner rounder punch, Dimensionals
Since I had my bin of American Crafts Designer Paper I out and the weather turned quite nasty...I decided to make another All Boxed Up set using the DP. There is no stamping on this project. The cards inside the box are plain janes and can be used for anything!
I used these basic supplies:
Cardstock: Old Olive, Choc Chip, PTI white and American Crafts DP
Accessories: American Crafts Ribbon, Choc Satin Ribbon, Scalloped Edge Punch, Circle Nesties
This was a super easy project but does take some time. I can't seem to print the templates out on my cardstock so I now have a template with the scoring and cutting marked off.
You can buy this template from PTI. It's one of Lauren's Timeless Templates and is called All Boxed Up.
An open shot of the All Boxed Up set:
Here are the first and second cards:
Here are the third and fourth cards:

Cards for friends!

Good Wednesday Morning!
Happy Birthday Heather!
Today is Heather Rolin's birthday and the girls from H&M Stamps have decided to do a birthday blog hop of cards for her!
Here is my card to Heather....she'll get it a little late....but it's coming Heather!!!
I used the Coffee's Brewin' set with some Scenic Route DP and my new label Nesties.
Be sure to stop by the other girl's blogs to see what they have created for Heather as well!

A couple of days ago I received a nice package in the mail with thank you cards from the kids at school. They made cards and wrote letters thanking me for helping with the tree planting in the school yard. It was really sweet of them to write and draw pictures!
I wanted to do something in return so I sat down and made these quick cards for them. I don't normally mass produce but I thought it was only fair if everyone got the SAME card ;)
Thanks for stopping by today!
I'm off working the Scholastic Book Fair at school this morning and then home to STAMP!

Colour Challenge, Mojo and RAKS...Happy Day!

Happy Tuesday!
Well only 12 more school days left after today! Yah! Not sure how school being out for the summer will affect my stamping time just yet so I'm going to do as much as I can NOW...just in case ;)
This morning my friend, Lisa, came over and we stamped for the colour challenge on SCS for today. Real Red, So Saffron and Regal Rose. Now I like all three colours but not necessarily TOGETHER....lol
I decided to go with Saffron and Red and get a little itty bit of Regal Rose in there....see it? haha!
I always look forward to Julee's Mojo sketches on Mondays. They are always fantastic! This one is no exception. I created this one earlier today but am going to work on another shortly. When I got home after lunch, some of my Verve Visual stamps arrived....now I've gotta ink 'em up! LOL! Julee has such fast shipping to me in Canada. Helps that she's closer to the border...haha!
LOOK what my FABULOUS friend, Nancy Riley, sent to me today!!! I'm sure you all have been to her blog iSTAMP but if you haven't... you better RUN there right now....she has such wonderful creations. So clean and crisp and she's full of talent too!
Thank you Nancy for making my day...big hugs to you!
Check out these key chains she sent me from Staples! Nancy even re-covered one in SU! Designer Paper for me....awesome eh? Oh and these little dog bone shaped paper clips are FAB too! Can't wait to use them on a card soon!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Colour Challenge Card and a Sketch

Happy Tuesday!
I've got a lot going on this week. Thought it was going to be fairly slow but nope...not going to happen...lol
I made this card today for the Colour Challenge on SCS. You were to use Blue Bayou, Soft Sky and Certainly Celery. This layout was one I had jotted down on a sheet of paper but I don't know where it came from. If it's yours, please let me know so I can give credit ;)
I had not inked up this Hostess Stamp set until today...not sure why because this little pea is sweet!
Stamps: Event Full; Cardstock: Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, Certainly Celery, WW and Celery Prints Paper; Inks: Adirondack Black; Accessories: Copic Markers, Nesties, Celery Brads, 5/8" Celery Ribbon, dimensionals
Yesterday Lauren had posted a sketch on her blog and some colours as well. I knew I wanted to use this new stamp I had got on Saturday and the colours she listed didn't seem to work for some reason. This isn't my typical style, not that I have one, but I really like the look. Thanks Lauren for getting me to step out of my comfy box...lol

Stamps: Stampendous and Riveting; Cardstock: Kraft, Choc Chip, Celery, WW; Inks: Celery and Choc Chip; Accessories: 5/8" Celery Ribbon, White Organdy Ribbon, Nesties, Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by today!

Sketch Challenge

Good Wednesday Afternoon!
This morning I had a couple of friends over to stamp but I struggled with my card and ended up scrapping what I had done and started fresh this afternoon...lol
This card is for the Sketch Challenge on SCS. I dug through my scrap pile and found this Tres Jolies DP. I was inspired to use Apricot Appeal after seeing Amy's card on her blog Pickled Paper Designs. I can't recall the last time I had used this colour....my best guess would be when we had a Colour Challenge on SCS...haha!
Stamps: Stampendous, Papertrey Birthday Basics; Cardstock: Apricot Appeal, WW and Tres Jolies DP; Inks: Adirondack Espresso; Accessories: Copic Markers, Nestabilities, Ticket Punch, Photo Corner Punch, Paper Piercer, Dimensionals
When I received the stamped images in the mail the other day I sat down and watercoloured quite a few of them. This morning I put this quick card together. Since it was already coloured I bet this card took no more than 5 minutes to create! Gotta love those ;) I spent a lot of time on the High Hopes site last night adding things to my shopping cart. So many great images and I LOVE that you can get them unmounted. Cheaper to buy and ship and much easier to store.
Stamps: High Hopes, Circle of Friendship; Cardstock: Brocade Blue, Barely Banana, Watercolour Paper and Sarah DP(retired); Inks: Black Stazon, Brocade Blue and Various SU! Markers; Accessories: Nestabilities, Aqua Painter, Dimensionals, Apricot Ribbon
Thanks for stopping by today!
I'm off to work on some SU! cards now. Have a fabulous evening!

More American Crafts DP and MOJO Monday Sketch

Have you ever found something that you really LOVE and can't get enough of?
Well this American Crafts Designer Paper is that for me....right now anyway! LOL!
I love the bright boldness of it. Sure makes me think of Spring and Summer!!
I actually ran to a LSS to pick up MORE of it today. I'd hate to get back from holidays and it be GONE from there....oh I'd be bummed....haha!
This first card I made with Julee's Mojo Monday Sketch #23. I tried to colour the bees the same sort of colour but nothing seemed quite bright enough. I think it looks okay though.
Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Stampendous Bee Trios, CC Designs Penguin(for the sentiment)
Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Real Red, WW, American Crafts DP
Inks: Black Stazon, SU! Markers
Accessories: Aqua Painter, 2way glue pen and Glitter, Real Red Grosgrain, Slot Punch, Scallop Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Paper Piercer, Dimensionals
Like I have been doing, I used up some of the scraps to make another card. I couldn't decided on a sentiment for this card. Or rather, I couldn't decide what and where to put it. So for now it's naked...haha!

Supplies:
Stamp Set: Boatloads of Love
Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Real Red, WC Paper and American Crafts DP
Ink: Black Stazon, SU! Markers
Accessories: Paper Snips, Pop Dots, Aqua Painter, Real Red Grosgrain, Red Gingham, Ticket Punch, Making Memories Rhinestone Brads
Thanks for stopping by today!
I have just received some new stamps in the mail today! Can't wait to ink them up!
