Hello from California :)

Well our mini vacation is coming to a close :(

We had a great time and other than a rain storm Sunday afternoon the weather has been wonderful over the past week. Really nothing to complain about!

These are just a few pictures of many that I snapped with my camera using the Hipstamatic....fun!

This first one Chloe took of Brian and I at Joe's Crab Shack in Anaheim.

This one was from lunch at Bubba Gump's in Long Beach after visiting the Aquarium of the Pacific.

Here is a drink Brian ordered today....can't remember what it's beer empties into the mix....sounds gross to me but he said it was delicious!!!

Hi, it's me.....with a little blog candy

Hi!

It's been a long time since I have done some sort of blog candy.

Mostly because I just can't get myself organized enough to do it! LOL!

Last year was a GREAT year for me both professionally and personally.

I started the year off on the MFT Sketch Team but was quickly invited to join the Design Team.

I'm sure if you are a frequent visitor to my blog you can tell that I {heart} MFT.

As much as I loved being on the DT I had to step down last summer do to work commitments at the time.

Leaving the DT didn't stop me from ordering from them each month. Call it an addiction...lol

I'll get to the blog candy in a minute but wanted to share one last card from last years MFT weekly sketches.

I believe this was sketch #23.

My 40th birthday cake

Last night we went out for dinner to celebrate my 40th birthday a little early.

Being that my birthday is only a few days before Christmas it gets hard to get together or into a restaurant.

Karen had this birthday cake and cake pops made for ME!

I was sooooooo excited about it!

We aren't eatting the cake...ha....well maybe for Christmas ;)

There were 24 cake pops to start...I had my own Oiler team .... hehe!

How cool is this?!!!

It's my favourite cake ever!

Karen's friend started her own business and I know where I'll be going to order cakes from now on.

Having You As a Friend SFYTT

Hello!

I think the only positive thing about coming home from vacation is that I got to stamp!

While in Vegas I drove up to Summerlin to a scrapbooking store there where I found this super cool huge paper pad of MME dots collection for $20! What a steal! It has 180 papers(60 patterns with 3 of each). That means you will be seeing a lot of DOTS soon ;) LOL!

I had to go back to MFT on Saturday to see Kim and pick up more stamps!!! Oh and intrude on her make 'n take for a picture too ;)
