My Time to Colour Challenge

Good Morning!
Today I am off to the Edmonton Extravaganza III!!!! Should be a fun filled day meeting tons of new friends from SCS!!
This week Lauren has a My Time to Colour Challenge. Be sure to visit her blog to link up your card to the Mr. Linky and everyone can visit you afterward :)
This is a sample of what the My Time Team created:

The colours I got from this were:
-Purely Pomegranate
-Temp. Turq
-So Saffron
-Groovy Guava
-Certainly Celery
I am lucky enough to have a good buddy....Denise... who shares her Whipper Snapper images with me....lol and I thought this image would be super sweet to use today! Thanks Denise~!
The colours frightened me a little so I went ultra simple here....colour blocking!
The tilted squares were a happy mistake....I had first taped the Pomegranate square straight and when I let go of the white base...it flipped a bit and the other layers(which were just sitting there) tilted and I thought it looked better that way....so I ripped off the Pomegranate layer and started fresh! This card is a 5" Square.
Stamps: Whipper Snapper; Cardstock: PTI white, Purely Pomegranate, Groovy Guava, Certainly Celery, Temp. Turq, So Saffron; Ink: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Rhinestones, Circle Nesties, Dimensionals, Stardust Stickles
Now stop by the My Time Team to see what fabulous creations they have to share:
Thanks for stopping by today! I'll be gone most of the day but I will catch up with you all tonight! To my American friends....hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

Happy Monday!

Good Monday Morning!
Did you all enjoy your weekend?
Mine was GREAT! The Oiler's won on Saturday and Jeff Gordon finished second yesterday!
YEAH!
Late yesterday afternoon I realized that the Edmonton SU! Regional is less than two weeks away and I haven't done one swap yet...let alone even THOUGHT about what I'm doing. I am super duper excited to go with Christine and Laura....my Dirty Girl Buds!
My question is for those that swap....
How many do you typically do for an event like this? Keep in mind that I'm more of a hobby demo and don't need a ton of ideas for workshops.
When I saw the Featured Stamper was Judy aka StampingQueenJAR on SCS I was excited! She's super sweet and makes wonderful cards!
I decided to CASE this card of hers HERE.
Thanks Denise for this super cute Whipper Snapper image ;)
Stamps: Whipper Snapper; Card Stock: Pumpkin Pie, WW, So Saffron and Summer Picnic DP; Inks: Black; Accessories: Copics, Circle Nesties, Swiss dots embossing foler, White Brads, Ribbon, EK Success Wavy Border punch, Dimensionals
Cindy posted the MFT sketch challenge #71 last week in the MFT forum on SCS. I had hoped to play along on Friday but things got crazy and only finished this up yesterday afternoon.

Featured Stamper Cards

Happy Monday!
I'll get to my cards in a minute...lol
Did you watch the Daytona 500 yesterday? If so, what did you think? I was sort of disappointed that rain was the cause of the end of the race. It must have been raining hard because in 2006 we wore raincoats the entire race...it misted the whole time and we were soaked...lol...WHY didn't they call it then? haha! Looking forward to the next race now.
Before sitting down to watch the Daytona 500 yesterday I ran down to make a couple of cards for the Featured Stamper on SCS. It was Julie Lacey....a fellow DT member at H & M Stamps! How exciting!
HERE is the first card I cased of hers. Loved the mailbox theme and since I had some awesome Whipper Snapper images from Denise, I could play along!
Stamps: Whipper Snapper; Cardstock: White, Sage Shadow, Choc Chip, Really Rust and Autumn Vine DP; Inks: Black; Accessories: Copics, Choc ribbon, Sage Shadow Ribbon, Brads, Dimensionals
My second card that I made was a case of THIS card. I used the cute ballerina from the H & M Stamp set called Livin' A Girl's Life.
Stamps: Livin' a Girl's Life; Cardstock: White, Choc chip, Pretty in pink, Sweet Always DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Curvy Rectangle nesties, Eyelet Border Punch, Choc Satin Ribbon, Dimensionals, 2 way glue pen and Dazzling diamonds
Thanks for stopping by today!

FS card and more TECC sketches

Good Morning!
I have a lot to show you but very little time so I'll just load the cards and give you a few links. If you have any questions...let me know :)
This first card uses Ana's TECC52 sketch that you can find HERE.
I used a super cute Whipper Snapper image that my buddy Denise sent me!
This one uses Taylor's TECC52 sketch found HERE.
This card was made using Jami's TECC52 sketch HERE.
This one was for the Featured Stamper challenge on SCS yesterday. I used the H & M Stamp set called My Favorite Valentine.
Thanks for stopping by today! I may not have a lot of free time this week as our school will be host to a Drama Group called Trickster Theatre and it takes a LOT of volunteers to run it....guess you know where I'll be ;) If you are interested what it is about you can click the link.

So Glad We're Friends

Good Morning!
After grocery shopping yesterday I headed down to the basedump to stamp! The Featured Stamper was Lori Craig. She is such a sweet person and has a wonderful gallery! I decided to case one of her Whipper Snapper cards. This past week I was lucky to receive some stamped images from my good friend, fellow dirty girl and OCC buddy....Denise! She'd sent me some super cute Whipper Snapper images and I couldn't wait to colour them in. I was a little intimidated by the sheep...so I did a really light grey around the inside.
Anyway, back to Lori and her card I CASED...lol
THIS is the card I chose out of her gallery.
Stamps: Whipper Snapper; Cardstock: So Saffron, Bashful Blue, White and Jr. Varsity DP; Inks: Black; Accessories: Copics, Black Pen, Circle Nesties, Blue Gingham, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by!
