Polka dots

Yesterday's Limited Supply Challenge on SCS was to called Love You Much. You were to make a card for someone you love and use only red, white, black or pink and also polka dots. Since I used some October Afternoon DP I thought Very Vanilla went better than white ;)
Pretty simple card that took only a few minutes. No ink, no stamps!
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, October Afternoon DP; Accessories: SU! butterfly die, ribbon, wavy border punch, mat pack and paper piercer, black rhinestones, dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today! Enjoy your weekend!

Good Morning!

Good Morning!
Here's a sneak peek of what the My Time Saturday Challenge girls have created!
This week Lauren is asking us to use one of her Timeless Templates and create a birthday gift that includes either a butterfly or is purple...or both...like I did! There are FREE templates available so give it a whirl!
For my sample I decided to use the FREE Recipe Wrap Up Template along with both purple and butterflies in my design! I'll be giving this to a friend who has an upcoming birthday...hope she will like it! I've used the Verve set called Beautiful Kindness.
Stamps: Beautiful Kindness; Cardstock: Plum Pudding, Lavender Moon, Vintage Cream and DP; Inks: Plum Pudding; Accessories: Oval Nesties, Scallop Edge Punch, Kaiser Rhinestones, May Arts Ribbon
Here is the inside. I printed off the calendar sheets and decorated each pocket with the Martha Stewart Layering Daisy Punch and a Kaiser Rhinestone.
Stop by to see what the others have created too:
Before heading out the door yesterday morning I took a quick peek to see what the Limited Supply Challenge was. I'm glad I did! It was to make a beachy card.
You had to use ONE imge that was beach related.
You could use ONE embellishment.
You could use ONE sentiment.
Of course you were supposed to limit the layers...if you could ;)
I used the super cute Sugarplum's Emma from All That Scraps and also AmyR's Beach Sentiments.
Stamps: Sugarplum's Emma, AmyR's Beach Sentiments; Cardstock: White, Saffron and DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Saffron Ribbon, Eyelet border punch, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today!

Happy Saturday!

Hello!
Oh boy I have a long post today but I do hope you'll still read and look....lol
It's Saturday which means it's time for Lauren's My Time To Create Challenge!
Here is a sneak peek of the girl's work....Lauren put together a little collage...love it! I can't wait to see the full cards now!
Here is my card I created with the sketch 32 which you can find below ;)
This weekend is Lauren's birthday and to celebrate we thought it would be fun to make our sketch cards birthday cards too! I decided to pull out a very fun set from Unity called Giggle Grove. My colour inspiration actually came from a jar of primas that I've NEVER used...shame on me eh? LOL! You'd think maybe I would have used one or two on this card but nope...couldn't figure out where to put :(
Stamps: Giggle Grove, PTI birthday sentiments; Cardstock: Choc chip, Old olive, Tangerine,PTI Berry Blush, White and DP; Inks: Memento Rich Cocoa, White Craft; Accessories: Copics, paper snips, choc poly twill, flower trio punch, kaiser rhinestones, stardust stickles, dimensionals, photo corner punch
Now stop by and see what all the other fabulous Saturday My Time To Create Challenge girls have come up with!
Here is the sketch and if you play along be sure to go to Lauren's blog and use Mr. Linky so your card can be seen. Also please use keyword mytimess32 when you upload to SCS :)
I just can't get enough of these cute new Sugarplum's from All That Scraps! This is Emma and she will be available on Monday evening. I've used Taylor's TECC66 for my card but did move the three embellishments to the bottom as it worked better for my card ;)
Stamps: Sugarplum Emma, AmyR's Beach Sentiments; Cardstock: Real Red, White, AC dp; Inks: Memento black; Accessories: Copics, nesties, primas, silver brads, dimensionals
I combined a couple of challenges for this card. This one was for the Limited Supply Challenge of creating a border with stamps and also the WSC79 that is being hosted by Jenn Balcer. I've used a new set from H & M Stamps called Seeds of Kindness. As I type this up...the new sets still aren't on the site and I'm not sure when they will be but keep looking :)
Stamps: Seeds of Kindness; Cardstock: PTI plum pudding, lemon tart, white; Inks: Plum pudding, Lemon tart, Black; Accessories: Nesties, Bazzill flower, Prima flower, Silver brad
Thanks for stopping by today!

Hey Dude! Just buzzin' by

Good Morning!
Yesterday was super busy and when I got home I didn't feel much like stamping....I know...I'm shocked too....lol
Luckily I had this card ready for Lauren's Saturday Sketch.
This week we are making cards to send to Alicia who is another Saturday Sketch Girl. Her son Ethan's cancer has progressed and the news hasn't been very good. I wanted to make my card for Ethan and after looking through all my stamps I couldn't find any get well type image for a child. Then I spotted this Changito Monkey in the drawer and thought I could use him! The flower center had Thank You(I think) so I decided to punch a So Saffron circle and emboss it to cover it up. I think it worked pretty good! The sentiment is from AmyR's Wardrobe Sentiments that you can find at All That Scraps.
Stamps: Changito Monkey, AmyR's Wardrobe Sentiments; Cardstock: Choc Chip, So Saffron, Blue Bayou, White and WeRMemoryKeepers White Collection dp; Inks: Mememto Black; Accessories: Copics, Circle Punch, Swiss Dots embossing folder, Designer label punch, ribbon, Mat pack and paper piercer, dimensionals
Here is the sketch! If you play along and upload to SCS please use the keyword mytimess27 so we can find you!
Saturday Sketch Team:
Yesterday's Limited Supply Challenge was fairly simple. You were to use a bug image, no more than 4 layers of cardstock and NO designer papers. That equals a simple card! This is what I came up with.

Stamps: Just Buzzin' By; Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron, Choc chip, WC paper; Inks: Versafine Black, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron, Choc chip, Blush Blossom, More Mustard; Accessories: Aqua Painter, Nesties, Swiss Dots embossing folder, Eyelet border punch, Flower Fusion, Silver Brad, Dimensionals

It's all about friendship!

Good Morning!
Today I'm off to meet my friend Peggy, who owns PaperWorksCo to pick up my batch of Copic markers I ordered the other day! I'm so excited!
First I'd like to share some of my challenge cards with you....there are three so be sure to scroll all the way down ;)
This first one was for the Limited Supplies Challenge on SCS. I love to do this challenge each week but it drives me insane when people can't follow a few simple rules. I had to stop commenting yesterday on SCS because I'm not a rule breaker and rule breakers were upsetting me....lol
These were the rules:
*Stamps: Any (bonus points for using a heart image!)
*Paper: any + red...any shade of red
*if you use a punch or die it must be heart shaped
*if you use embossing folders...they must have a heart
*if you use an accessory it MUST be heart shaped or red
*if you use designer paper...yup you guessed it, red or hearts!
I can't tell you how many people I saw using embellishments that weren't red or hearts...that used nesties that weren't heart shaped....that used DP that wasn't red or had hearts....oh I could go on and on...but I'll get off my soapbox now....lol
Stamps: Love You Much; Cardstock: Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, Very Vanilla and Bo Bunny DP; Inks: Adirondack Black; Accessories: Copics, Heart Punch, Heart Trio Punch, Primary Dew Drops, Quickie glue pen, Bo Bunny Brad, Dimensionals
This next card is a combo of two of my Saturday challenges. First it uses Lauren's sketch and also the OCC - 2 shades of blue challenge. I went super simple with this card but I really like the look! Want to see what the Saturday Sketch Team has done:

Good Sunday Morning

Ok four tree stands later....our tree is finished!
Every tree stand we had(even the one that came with it) broke from the weight of the tree...so Brian went to work and welded me a heavy duty one this isn't going anywhere! He even painted it....not that you can see it OR my tree skirt.
Chloe decorated the tree this year....for the most part anyway. I think she did a great job!
If you have your tree up, please share a link so I can come take a peek at yours!
Ok so you probably didn't come to just see my tree right?
How about this card I did for the Limited Supply Challenge on Friday.
You were to use only snowflake images(no snowmen), snowflake DP or embossing folders, one word sentiments, sparkle and it had to monochromatic.
I used this On Boards Trimmings Snowflake and inked it with Riding Hood Red and added Dazzling Diamonds to the tips. Finally used some of this wonderful Vanilla Hodge Podge Hardware too! The inside is stamped with PEACE from AmyR's Christmas sentiments that are available at All That Scraps.
Stamps: AmyR's Christmas Sentiments; Cardstock: Riding Hood Red, Very Vanilla and October Afternoon-Sleigh Bells dp; Inks: Riding Hood Red; Accessories: On Board Trimmings, 2 way glue pen, Dazzling Diamones, 1" Circle Punch, Vanilla HPH, Dimensionals

Happy Saturday!

So any big plans for the weekend? I am going to try to get some stuff done around the house. Winter will be here before I know it and my yard still isn't prepped. I'm also thinking of taking a blog break...I'm in a funk and it's making me grumpy...I don't like being grumpy...lol
This week at Our Creative Corner, Lynda shared a fabulous sketch with us! Who doesn't like a good sketch?!
Other than the white brads(wish SU! made them) this is a SU! only card as is the one below too ;)
Hop on over to the OCC to see what surprises may be in store for you this week!!
I know the girls have created wonderful samples for this sketch.
Be sure to check out their blogs too!

Since I already had out the supplies to work on my OCC sketch card I thought it would be fun to try and use them for the Limited Supplies Challenge on SCS yesterday.
The limits were as follows. There must be blue, eyelets, ribbon and one side of a designer paper. No other tools were allowed to be used...ack! Well I guess I should be grateful that we could use some DP right?! You know I've had these Fresh Favorites I eyelets for a long time...it was GREAT to use them and they matched pretty well!

Lauren is back with her Saturday Sketches! Did you all see her exciting news last week? She is designing templetes for PTI!

Earlier in the week, Lauren has shown some of her PTI samples this week and how she created quick and easy Christmas cards that could be mass produced. Now I don't normally mass produced anything but this year I may just need to do a little of that. So....I ran with Lauren's idea and made a set of 4 of this card. It has a little bit of dimension but should fit in a regular envelope and not require extra postage in Canada.
Stop by the other Saturday Sketch girls blogs to see what they have created too!

Saturday Challenges

Good Saturday Morning!
Today I have a card for you that combines our Our Creative Corner Challenge with Lauren's Saturday Sketch. It's great when you can combine two challenges if time is limited ;)
Amy is our September hostess at the OCC and she asked us to make a card with stitching. It could be hand, machine or faux BUT it could not be white ;)
Ok ok...so I used white but only because I couldn't figure out how to load another bobbin in my machine...haha...soooooooooooooo I sponged it with Sage Shadow ink. I think it turned out pretty good considering I do NOT sew. The Always stamp set goes pretty darn good with the Autumn Vine DP. I coloured it with my SU! markers to match.
Check out the OCC girls blogs to see their creations and details.
Don't forget if you upload to SCS to use the keywords OCCC so we can find ya!
Hop on over to Lauren's blog to see her fun sketch! Then pop by the Saturday sketch teams blogs to see what they cooked up too!
If you upload a card with this sketch please use keywords mytimess07.
Stamps: Pretty Amazing and Best Yet; Cardstock: Really Rust, Creamy Caramel, Sage Shadow, Choc Chip, WW and Autumn Vine DP; Inks: Creamy Caramel, Choc Chip, Sage Shadow, Really Rust, Close to Cocoa; Accessories: Circle punches, Circle Nesties, Choc chip Grosgrain, Gold Elastic cord, Sponges, Embossing Folder, Quickie Glue pen and Gliter, Dimensionals
Friday meant it was time for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge. I was able to combine it with the Limited Supply Challenge on SCS. This week we were to make a holiday card with a critter and the only embellishment we could use was ribbon. Perfect for Beate's sketch! Luckily, Christine from All That Scraps had sent me this Lulu's Sweet Delights set since I didn't own any CC Design holiday stamps. That was sweet of her!
Stamps: Lulu's Sweet Delights; Cardstock: Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, WW and My Mind's Eye DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Circle Nesties, Baja Ribbon, Dimensionals
Today starts some new sneak peeks from Storage Unit, Inks & More! Hop on over to Lauren and Bethany's blogs to see what is up!
Thanks for stopping by today!
I will be back later to show you something made with my new LONG Rectangle Nesties that I picked up from Peggy(waving Hi Peggy) last night. You can find them and many other goodies at her online store PaperWorksCo.

LSC card and Taylor's Sketch

Good Friday Morning!
I am relieved that school is over now until September. I'm sure the summer will fly by...
This morning we are heading over to my sisters but while my Mom did some of her laundry, I sat down to work on a couple of cards for todays challenges.
This first one is for the Limited Supply Challenge on SCS. Use brads WITH your stamps....not just adding brads to your card ;) Simple enough eh?! I decided to pull out a set I haven't used in a long time. Paired it up with a cute colour combo of Pretty in Pink and Certainly Celery.

Stamps: Priceless; Cardstock: Pretty in Pink; Certainly Celery, WW and Celery prints paper; Inks: Celery, Pretty in Pink, Black; Accessories: Paper Snips, Glut Dots, Dimensionals, 5/8" Celery Ribbon, Soft Subtles Brads. Photo corner punch, Paper Piercer, White Gel Pen
The past few Fridays have been super hectic and I haven't had a chance to play along with Taylors sketch. Today I did! Yeah! Last night we went to a LSS that has a 40% off the entire store....gotta LOVE that! I picked up a ton of new DP. This one is from Sassafrass. The bottom edge worked perfectly for Taylor's awning look!

Stamps: What's Up Cupcake?; Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, WW and Sassafrass DP; Inks: Black, Pumpkin, Choc chip(sprinkles); Accessories: Small and Lg Oval Punches, American Crafts Ribbon, Dimensionals
Remember....
stop back tomorrow! The OCC will have a special surprise for our blog challenge this week. Also, it's MY turn to sneak peek a card for Storage Units, Inks & More. Today you can see a sneak peak on Kendra's blog.

LSC card, Beate Sketch and group pic from last night

Good Friday Afternoon!
Yah...it's the weekend! I need to get out and mow the backyard but I just can't seem to pull myself off the couch....
This morning before heading to the school I had time to work on quite a few cards!! It was a very productive morning...gotta love those!
This trio of cards is for todays Limited Supply Challenge on SCS. You were to make three cards using the same stamps, cardstock and inks. You were also allowed some hardware and ribbon. When stamping them, I didn't want to add a sentiment and thought I'd add one as I needed to.
Stamps: Heartfelt Thanks; Cardstock: Choc Chip, Groovy Guava, WW and Afternoon DP; Inks: Soft Sky, Wild Wasabi, Groovy Guava; Accessories: Rectangle Nesties, Choc Chip Twill, Ribbon Slider from HPH, Slit Punch, Dimensionals
Here is a closer look at the three cards.

After making the three cards for this mornings Limited Supplies Challenge I had a little time to work on Beate's WSC50. I'm always in need of bday cards and this layout worked well for my favourite cupcakes! I'm in love with these Hero Arts Cupcakes....lol
Stamps: Hero Arts Cupcakes; Cardstock: Cool Caribbean, Choc Chip, WW and MM Animal Crackers DP; Inks: Adirondack Ink; Accessories: Copic Markers, Choc Chip Satin Ribbon, Rectangle Nesties, Slit Punch, Dimensionals, Stardust Gel Pen
Lastly, I just wanted to show you a group shot of the girls cards last night...what a hoot to see the different expressions with the eyes!
Thanks for stopping by today!
