Crafting time!

ahhhh it feels good to be on vacation this week.

Getting so much done!

I have managed to start a new blanket and made a few cards as well as getting a new puppy :)
Meet Chevy!
He's a Golden Retriever/Bermese Mountain X

Luckily puppies sleep a LOT and I've been able to craft.
I created this card for the Paper Players Sketch and also the SCS colour challenge.
The background was stamped in Versamark and clear embossed using the Happy Birthday sentiment. A quick colour was of Rich Razzleberry and Pumpkin Pie was done on some watercolour paper and then I die cut using the dragonflies.
Stamps: Big on Birthdays
Paper: White, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Watercolour Paper
Ink: Versamark

This one was created for the SCS sketch this week.
I'm in love with the cupcake image. So yummy!

My crocheted blankets

Hello!

I had a few emails and a couple of comments from my last post asking about my blankets.
They aren't perfect and I only taught myself how to crochet in February.

It's definitely something I can just sit down and do in the evenings while watching tv.

This is my first one. Which turned out to be quite large. All done in half double crochet.

My next one I just randomly changed colours and is double crocheted. Not quite as wide as my first.

My last one was done super quick. I have it draped over my legs here.

Thanks for looking!
I'll be back tomorrow with my SCS sketch card :)

Hope Your Birthday is Sprinkled with Everything Great

Hi!

Since I took up a new hobby(crocheting) I am finding it harder and harder to find a balance between stamping and making blankets lol

I'm still stamping but last week was out of town for work and didn't have a chance to post my SCS sketch card.

Here I've used some new to me goodies.
The fun Cool Treats stamp set and matching dies.
Stamps: Cool Treats
Paper: Crumb Cake, Pool Party, White, Watermelon Wonder, Tasty Treats DSP
Ink: Pool Party, Peekaboo Peach, Watermelon Wonder, Versamark
Accessories: Frozen Treats Framelits, Sewing, Dimensionals, Clear EP

Have a Lovely Birthday

Hello!

This week I went bold with my birthday card for the SC636.

I can remember a time I couldn't create a card without pattern paper and now I rarely reach for it.
Partly because I don't have as much access to paper here. No scrapbook stores :(

I do have a new SU! order due in on Thursday and there is some paper coming! Yeah!
Can't wait to get busy this weekend.

Anyway, here is my card created as a sample for SCS.
I used my favourite Reverse Confetti butterflies and dies!
Stamps: Reverse Confetti, MFT
Paper: White, Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana
Ink: Coastal Cabana, Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Black
Accessories: Sewing, White Brads, Paper Piercer, Reverse Confetti Butterfly Dies, Dimensionals

Happy Birthday FMS277

Hello 😄

Since I still had trees on my mind I decided to pull out this SU! set to create a quick CAS card for the Freshly Made Sketch #277.

As I've said before, I'm making a birthday card for all my employees this year(which is well over 200). Sometimes it means a quick and simple card as time isn't always on our side these days.

This sketch was perfect for it!

Out on a Limb

Happy Wednesday!!!

Today I'm sharing my card that was created for the Splitcoast Sketch #634.
It was a fantastic sketch that allowed me to pull out an old favourite from MFT.

Out on a Limb and matching die was a go to fave of mine several years ago.
So many possibilities with the circles or leaves.
I'll have to create another card shortly using the leaves.
