Sunshine :)

Hi!
ahhhhh vacation/time off work is awesome!
We've had some great weather, family time and stamping time!
Next Monday will come quickly :(

Until then I'll stamp as much as I can!

Here is a card I created last weekend using the Color Throwdown Challenge from last week.

It's a fairly quick CAS card.
I embossed the cloud background on white and popped up some butterflies from Reverse Confetti.
The Sunshine was die cut from SU(4x) and I brushed some Wink of Stella on it for a little sparkle ;)
Stamps: Butterfly Dreams
Paper: White, Pool Party
Ink: Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Lucky Limeade
Accessories: Cloud EF, Sunshine Wishes Dies, Reverse Confetti Butterfly Dies, Wink of Stella, Dimensionals

A Happy Hello

A Happy Hello is right!

I've had a busy vacation week. It was mostly a Stay-cation but for the most part I enjoyed my time.
Chloe and I went to Calgary to do a little shopping and had some girl time. It was fun! I got my hair done and lightened it a bit for the summer :)
Then of course I had new stamps waiting for me!
I created the card below using these sweet Reverse Confetti images and dies.

This card was also created for two challenges:
1. Freshly Made Sketch #230
2. Color Throwdown # 386 - Lime Green, Teal and White
Stamps: Rose Garden, Whole Lotta HappyPaper: White, Lucky Limeade, Temp TurquoiseInk: Temp Turquoise, Lucky LimeadeAccessories: Reverse Confetti Rose Garden Dies, Wink of Stella, Dimensionals, SU Brick Wall Embossing Folder

With Sympathy

Hello!

Happy weekend!
It's sooooooo nice to be off for two straight days.
Plus....

Tomorrow is the Daytona 500!!
This year will be different as Jeff Gordon will be in the booth calling the race rather than fighting for the win. I'm sure it will seem odd a first lol

This afternoon I headed downstairs to play in a few challenges.
My first card is for a dear friend at work who lost her dad yesterday.

I combined the Freshly Made Sketch and the Color Throwdown Challenge.
My card uses a PTI set called Botanical Silhouettes.

Friendship

ahhhh vacation!

Although I decided not to go to the States like we normally do(the Canadian dollar sucks) I still took a week off work to unwind.
Looking forward to the GREAT weather we are having. In the 30's(90F) most of the week.
Might make a trek out to the mountains or something for a day trip.

I am patiently waiting for my new SU! goodies to arrive on Wednesday!
I signed up again to be a demo to get the discount and paper that I just can't find anywhere anymore. All of the local scrapbooking stores have closed up. Everything is done online these days which is fine EXCEPT when the Canadian dollar is as bad as it is :(

This afternoon I created a card using Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch and the CAS challenge on SCS(Waves of Colour).
My first interpretation is simple. Waves.
I am working on a more colourful card though ;)
I used a cute Verve stamp set called Text Objects.

I'm sure they will have a blast!!

Here is a card I created for her last week.
It was for the Ways To Use It Challenge - Reinkers on SCS.
I cased a card I saw on Pinterest here.

I used some fun Reverse Confetti stamps and dies :)

Thanks

Hello!

I was so excited to have a few minutes to play along with today's CAS challenge SCS.
Created a thank you card for Chloe.
She spoiled me this past weekend for Mother's Day.
I truly am SO lucky to have her as my daughter.
Here's a shot Brian got of us laughing about something. My eyes are half open but I still love the photo.

The Rainbows of Life...

Happy Wednesday!

I'm so excited to be off today because Chloe is on Spring Break and we have some plans to get crafty together!!
She rarely likes to get inky but we are going to give some mixed media and canvas a whirl later today.
Should be fun!!!

Here is a card I created last weekend using the Freshly Made Sketch #180 and also for the Paper Players Challenge #239 - Die Cuts
Look at all that white space! A card like this used to freak me out but they've grown on me :)

Grateful

Hello!
Hope everyone had a nice Easter!

It was a quiet day for us. Some much needed R&R time.
I was able to get into my stamp area and do some organizing and then stamping!

I created the card below for the Featured Stamper on SCS and also for the Paper Players Challenge this week to use die cuts.
I chose to CASE Stef's card here.
I really wanted to use some of the tools that Brian had gotten for me over the past several months.
So I got busy with some distress inks and my paint brush. Once that dried I reached for some modelling paste and a stencil.
I forgot how fun it is to get messy! LOL!

Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks for Brightening My Day

Hello!!!!

I'm back! Moved and settling into our new place.
Gosh it feels GREAT to stamp again!
I still have a little unpacking and organizing to do BUT Brian insisted I sit down and create today :)

Last week I received my Reverse Confetti order and I've been itchin' to use it!

Karen's sketch below was used to create my card.
Here I used the Shine Bright stamp set along with some fun dies from Reverse Confetti too!

Happy Birthday To You

Hello!

Today I'm finally packing up my craft room! Yeah!

We are hoping to be moved this weekend but won't have any internet until next Wednesday :(
Bummer!

Tomorrow is Brian's birthday!
I used Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch below to create his birthday card.
Since I'm packing up I decided to reach to my scrap pile for card stock colours. I really love this Hawaiian Shores colour from Papertrey. The card is for my husband so I decided to add a little red heart for a pop!
Thanks for stopping by!

Hello

Hello

I seriously need to start packing up this room rather than stamping.
It's just that I haven't had as much time lately so I'm taking advantage of it while I can.
Who wouldn't right?

Sunday I cased Sue's card HERE as she was the Featured Stamper.
I LOVE rainbows and was really inspired by hers.

This is what I created.

Thanks

Yeah!
Today is my day off!
LOL two days of work so far this week.

Here I created a CAS card using the Freshly Made Sketch below.
This was the first of my five cards on Sunday.
It's hard to tell in the photo but I stamped Darling Dots in White Craft ink onto the mint card stock. In real life it's easy to see.
In hindsight I should have maybe embossed with white ep :(

You Keep Me Anchored

Look at me go!

Two days in a row posting! Wow!
Not sure it'll happen as often but I've felt a lot more inspired this past week.
Maybe it's the hustle and bustle of the holidays are over and I can relax a bit.
Being in retail drains you.

I was happy to play along with the SCS CAS challenge yesterday and combine it with Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch.

Cheer Up!

Hello :)

Earlier this week I worked a late shift a work which meant I had some crafty time in the morning. When I stamp before going to work I feel energized! Not sure why but it's always fun!

This card used the SCS colour challenge and the Paper Players Sketch.
I inked up this little PI cutie and coloured with some copic markers. A little stitching to the center panel for interest and it's complete!
Stamps: Pretty Pumpkin, Blue Skies AheadPaper: White, Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, SU dspInk: BlackAccessories: Copics, Sewing, Flag Dies, Circle Nesties, Dimensionals
