I'll be working Friday because I'm in retail but taking Monday off so I'll still enjoy a three day weekend with my family.

Unfortunately, I was in need of yet another sympathy card.

Believe this is the third one in less than 6 weeks :(

I always find them difficult to create so when I happened upon this card here by Julie I decided to case it.

It's really beginning to look and feel like spring here in Calgary!

The snow is melting, the roads are dry BUT dirty and gross....lol and the temps are warming up!

It's still early so I won't be removing my snow tires just yet ;)

Last night Brian and I went out for dinner and took the Camaro. It was fun to take her out and cruise around a bit. Avoiding as many wet spots on the road as possible! LOL!

For the most part it's dry everywhere but there is still a lot of gravel :(

Today I am going to hang out at home and maybe do a little baking and stamping.

Really have no clue what the plans are this weekend but I hope to spend a good deal of time stamping. I have a bunch of cards to make.

Earlier this week I received my MFT package from the last release and was so excited to try the new Pretty Poppies stamp set and matching dies.
Just a quick 10 minute card.

I also ordered some of their inks.

They are just like the new SU! inks.

Great coverage.

Here I've used the new SnoCone and Black. I paired the SnoCone with SU Pool Party.

A little bit of stickles were added to the centers.

Gosh has your weather been up and down as much as ours here in Calgary?

It's crazy!

One day it's at least 10C or 50F and the sun is shining with snow melting and my grass showing.

Then the next day it snows.

Yuck!

Wishing You Sunshine

Hello :)

First I want to thank everyone for their comments or emails about Snickers.

We hope that we've figured out the problem and have her on the correct medicine this time.

Only time will tell and plenty of rest for her. I don't think she likes being locked in her kennel most of the day and it's hard for her to understand I'm trying to help her ;)

We just want our old Snickers back!

Yesterday before heading to work(working the night shift...ugh) I stamped my cards for the week :)
I'm looking forward to some HAPPY mail from MFT today! Fedex SAYS it will be here by 5 pm...yeah!

Puddles of Fun - Sweet Sunday Sketch #180

Sorry I've been so quiet this week.

I've had no desire to stamp what so ever :(

Worried about Snickers as we still don't know what's going on with her.

Yesterday we had another vet visit where they took blood to send off to the lab, gave her some fluids under her skin that absorb over 8 hours and we took her off the pain meds to see how that goes.

When I'm home I just hang out on the main floor with her. 

Hoping we get some answers this afternoon after the blood results come back.

Luckily, I stamped a lot last weekend and had my Sweet Sunday Sketch card for tomorrow created ;)

For now I have a St. Patrick's Day card using some Verve goodness!
