All Boxed Up!

Good Morning!
I soooooooooooo wanted to post this project last night when I finished but I had already done two posts yesterday and had unsubscribers...didn't want to tick anyone else off...lol
This took me much longer than anything I've done in quite sometime. Like TWO whole laundry loads from start to finish ;) rofl
I used all Papertrey stamps, paper and ribbon for this.
This is the All Boxed Up template from Lauren and PTI. I had some issues with my printer and cardstock. Instead of printing on cardstock I used the copy paper and then cut and traced it onto my Kraft and Poppy. The scoring was easy to do. Now that I've done one....I bet I could do another in just ONE load of laundry from start to finish!!
Stamps: Believe; Cardstock: PTI Poppy, White, Kraft and Vintage Holiday dp; Inks: Palette Noir; Accessories: Copics, Top Note Die, Oval Nesties, Poppy Ribbon, Stardust Stickles, Dimensionals, SU scalloped edge punch

Here is an inside shot which holds 4 cards/envelopes.

One of the cards....all four are the exact same...I don't normally mass produce(if you call 4 mass producing...lol) but thought it worked best for a set like this.

Stamps: Believe; Cardstock: PTI White, Kraft, Poppy; Inks: Palette Noir, Poppy; Accessories: Copics, Top Note Die, Oval nesties, Quickie Glue Pen and Glitter, Dimensionals
hmmmmm....now to find someone worthy of giving this to!
Be sure to scroll down for another post today!

Crafty Projects

Good Monday Morning!
Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. I spent most of mine cleaning up after Chloe...lol
Ok so I did get some stamping in...actually quite a bit....
I've been wanting to do this Stationery Box by Jackie Topa at Addicting To Stamping for a few days and finally got to sit down last evening and work on it. I grabbed some of my least favourite SU! DP to start. Don't you do that? Use something you won't freak out about if you wreck it trying to put it together for the first time?
Be sure to check out Jackie's Blog she has so many fabulous projects there!
This is the inside. In it you will find: 2 cards and envelopes, 2 little 3x3 cards and envelopes, 2 gift tags, notepad, place for your stamps and a pen.
Isn't this a cute little set?!!
Today we have our Staff Appreciation Luncheon at the school. The BPA orders lunch in for all the teachers and support staff. It's a thank you to them for all their hard work throughout the school year. I wanted to thank them with a little gift as well. These magnets are totally inspired and CASED from Julee at Poetic Artistry. You can see hers HERE. Thanks Julee for the inspiration!!
Hope the teachers like them.

Thanks for stopping by today!

A bunch of good stuff....

Good Monday Afternoon!
It's Victoria Day here in Canada so the family is all home today. We've each been doing our own things and I've gotten so much done! Love when that happens!
Today on SCS is the Try A New Technique Challenge. Now this is one I've done before for a teacher who was expecting a baby. I made a bag like this below with some little cards to go inside.
I hadn't used the Summer Picnic DP(well at least not this pattern) lately and thought this was a perfect time to pull it out. I thought about putting some little chocolates inside the bag but then Brian may have been upset if I gave them away....lol....so I went with 2 small 4x4 cards. Pretty simple and straightforward.
Stamps: Tart & Tangy, Much Appreciated; Cardstock: Real Red, Whisper White and Summer Picnic DP; Accessories: Circle Punch, Circle Nesties, Dimensionals, Slit Punch, Red Grosgrain Ribbon, Crop A Dile
Yesterday I worked on a Father's Day card using the Jack Handyman from CC Designs at All That Scraps. I also used the Happy Thoughts from Verve Visual for the sentiment. I bought these screw brads at a LSS last month and had forgotten about them :(

Stamps: CC Designs, Verve Visual: Cardstock: Brocade Blue, Choc Chip, WW and White Out DP; Inks: Adirondack Black, Choc chip, Brocade Blue; Accessories: Copic Markers, Screw Brads, 5/8" Brocade Blue Ribbon

I've admired Michelle Wooderson for sometime now and how she can mass produce such wonderful cards. Well these cards below are inspired by her!!! I've totally CASED her idea. I did change the Designer Paper, Stamps and CS colours. The basic idea is hers though. Last night I stamped a bunch of cupcakes and sat down to colour them while watching Desperate Housewives...lol This morning I put it all together.

Stamps: Hero Arts Cupcakes; Cardstock: PTI White, Bashful Blue, Real Red, 3BugsInARug DP; Inks: Adirondack Black; Accessories: Copic Markers, Clear Stardust Pun, White Brads, Circle and Rectangle Nesties, Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by today!

It's been very productive but I still have more time and more stuff to stamp!

Boxed Card Set

Good Saturday Afternoon!
Hope you all are having a fabulous weekend so far!! The weather here is beautiful and the snow is melting....yah!
Last night I finally had a chance to work on Holly's card box tutorial. I had already made the cards earlier this week for Chloe's teachers but needed something to put them in. Thanks to Nancy for reminding me of Holly's cool boxes ;)
Be sure to check out Holly's tutorial on her blog!

I've been out and about to various Scrapbooking stores this morning and now I'm off to Walmart. Hope I can get some stamping in later on. I NEED to do Jen and Lauren's sketches!
Thanks for stopping by!

Easter Gift Set

Good Evening!
Two posts in one day. Hope I don't upset anyone!
I know my day will be super busy tomorrow and I will have other things to share but wanted to show you a little gift I'm giving to a couple of the ladies I work with.
I really wanted to use the new Easter Elegance Set from Verve Visual. It's amazing!
The cardstock is from Papertrey Ink and it's called Aqua Mist. So pretty!!! I also used Imaginisce For Peep's Sake Collection. I pulled out my sewing machine today and it was a good thing my Mom called so I could ask her how to change some settings. I wanted to add a few embellishments to the cards so I used Martha Stewart Ribbon, Primas, Heidi Swapp Jewels and some Liquid Pearls.

The boxes are from Martha Stewart and they were some I picked up before Christmas. I don't recall how much they were but they were on clearance for a STEAL ;)
I added a piece of Aqua Mist to the top and bottom after I had used the small corner rounder punch to make a scallop border. The box comes with a window and I didn't want to cover it up so I used the coluzzle to cut an oval in the DP.
The back of the box is plain except that I added the Jelly Bean Prayer to it.
You can find that prayer HERE.

Gift Sets

Since it's been so cold this week I have had some extra time to stay home and stamp! I have a few projects to show you that I did last night and then finished up this morning!
This first tin and cards are a set I made to donate to a friend this is having a silent auction for Heart & Stroke. She's having a fundraiser while I am away in Florida and I wanted to somehow contribute. I hope that she likes it! I used the Stampendous Bees and watercoloured them in Soft Subtles. The Designer Paper is by Imaginisce and it's called For Peep's Sake.

These next few pictures are of a set similar to the ones that Sharon from No Time To Stamp? had created! She shared the template for the little box on her blog. Be sure to check it out!!

This first set is using Embrace Life with Ginger Blossom DP. I used Ruby Red, Groovy Guava and Very Vanilla cardstocks. The flowers were watercoloured with an aqua painter and re-inkers in Guava and Ruby Red. Then I added my fave embellishment....Liquid Pearls!

For this next set I used Bronc Buster and Wanted. I loved the Sage Shadow and Choc Chip together so I went with that again. Sponging the Sage Shadow with Creamy Caramel. The Very Vanilla is sponged with Creamy Caramel and then Choc Chip. The images are stamped with Choc Chip Craft and Clear Embossed. I was excited to use the star punches!

Well that's all I have for now.
I also need to apologize in advance to my beloved OILERS....I'm going to the game tonight....and lately....every time I go....we lose....lol....so sorry OILERS! We need a win!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Wrapping up the last of my gifts...

This is the last of my gift sets that will be going out to a friend today or tomorrow. I made a whole punch of cards with Cutie Pie DP and the stamp set A Little Birdie Told Me that will be available in January from SU! I've exchanged gifts with most of my friends already but still have a couple to see. Hopefully they don't see them on here before they get them....haha! Been holding off posting them as long as I could. I haven't had crafting time today because I have spent the morning cleaning my craft area in the baseDUMP! Ugh! It's awful down there!
I don't know if I will be back to post anything else before Christmas so......
MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!!

WT Challenge

Wow! What a nice day I've had so far today! It's been a lazy day really. Did a little shopping after dropping Chloe at school this morning. Came home to do a little crafting and organizing of my craft area. Picked up some little stacking containers to store a bunch or embellishments Brian had picked up.
This book is one of thoe $1 books from Michael's. Todays Ways To Use It Challenge on SCS was to use spirals in your work. I decided to make a book for one of the ladies at the school. I had never made anything for her yet. I really like how it turned out!
Supplies:
Stamps: None
Cardstock: Certainly Celery and DCWV Pocket of Posies Stack
Inks: None
Accessories: Spiral Punch, MayArts Ribbon, Bazzill Wings Flowers, Crystal Brads, Misc Chipboard Letters
These next two pictures are of little sets I made for Chloe's two teachers. I recovered a composition book, did a beaded pen and made Post It Note books. I used Basic Grey Papers.
I added some tabs to the pages but left them blank. Figured they could write in what they wanted.

SCS Limited Supplies and a Gift Set

You know I don't know what I would do without SCS! I look forward to the daily challenges that are put out there by the girls!!! Friday's challenge is Limited Supplies. Today we were given a list of what we could use...and this is what I came up with!
Supplies Used all Stampin'Up!

Cardstock: Always Artichoke, River Rock, Whisper white and Sarah DP
Inks: Black Stazon, River Rock and Always Artichoke

My Mom had asked if I could make a book for a friend of hers. Sure! I thought it might be nice if I made it more of a gift set. So I pulled out one of the dollar books I had and some Chatterbox paper and went to work. I think she'll really like the set. Or at least I HOPE she does....LOL
I used Chatterbox DP, Whisper White, Perfect Plum, Old Olive Papers
The stamp sets were Heartfelt Thanks, Polka Dots and Paisley
