Or is it? Ugh! I found out yesterday that I needed to go back and do three more days of that course I did last month. NOT fun....it's clear across the city and I don't have TIME to do it. Not cool...I was so bummed about it yesterday BUT I still managed to stamp. I think stamping put me in a better mood and I hope you like my cards today!
Both cards use Mercy's MTSC34 that you can find on her blog here.
I love this bowl of cherries image from Taylored Expression's new set called Berries & Cherries. I stamped it on Choice Snow White with Memento Black ink and coloured with Copics. Did you see that Taylored Expressions carries Copics now?! Super cool, eh?

KI Blog Hop - For a Special Teacher

Good Morning and welcome to the June 20th KI Blog Hop!
I've been excited to show you this card which I made last week with the Taylored Expressions June 20th Key Ingredients.
This month Taylor challenged us to make a gift or card for a June Celebration and we were to add some sort of dimension to our project. Want to know what the kicker was? NO COPICS!
So....
I started by stamping the cute bear from Beary Special onto Choice Snow White Cardstock with Memento Black Ink(twice). I then coloured both images with Prismacolour Pencils and Gamsol.
My dimension comes from a few layers of cardstock, nesties and the bear being popped up on dimensionals. Isn't that ribbon YUMMY?! I had a hard time capturing the colour of the ribbon...it looks blue here but it isn't...lol I think it's Orchid.
Here is a shot to show the dimension. I even gave the sentiment banner some dimension ;)
The sentiment comes from the A Year of Sweet Sentiments.
Stop by one half of the Baker's Dozen who are playing along with this month's KI Subscription!

Beary Special

Good Morning~
Today starts the sneak peeks from Taylored Expressions! The sets I'm featuring today are the newest for the charitable program called The Giving Tree. This is Beary Special and Beary Special Accessories.
A portion of the proceeds from the two sets will be donated to The Hospital for Sick Children(Sick Kids) which is located right here in Canada! This charity is very special to designer Nancy McKinney whose family was helped directly by them. Please go to Nancy’s blog today for the story of her son Henri.
The Hospital for Sick Children (Sick Kids) is a health-care community dedicated to improving the health of children. Their mission is to provide the best in family-centered, compassionate care, to lead in scientific and clinical advancement, and to prepare the next generation of leaders in child health. The hospital is located in Canada, but is known around the world for its innovation and leadership in research.
Please note that in order to keep costs down so that more money may be donated to the charity, these two sets come as a sheet of rubber and will need to be trimmed prior to use.
Stop by Taylor's Blog to find out more info.

Saturday is full of friendship!

Happy Saturday!
I've got a few things to share again today!
It's time for a new My Time Challenge. This week Lauren has chosen to do an inspiration which you can see below. Here is a collage of what the girl's have created!
Here is the Inspiration Piece:
I started off by selecting these colours....
Almost Amethyst, Sahara Sand, White and Black. I saw flower and a little bit of bling around the top of the dress.
So I decided to use a new stamp set from H & M Stamps called Seeds of Kindness.
Stamps: Seeds of Kindness; Cardstock: PTI white, Almost Amethyst, Sahara Sand, Black; Inks: Black and Almost Amethyst; Accessories: Nesties, Ribbon, Rhinestones, Eyelet Border Punch, Dimensionals
Stop by the My Time To Create Girl's Blogs:
I was so excited to see Taylors TECC67 sketch yesterday because I have been wanting to ink up the tie image from the Boys Will Be Boys stamp set. I've used the Father's Day Key Ingredient kit to put this card together. I LOVE how it all matches and takes the guess work out of making a card...lol
You can find all the stamps and KI kits at Taylored Expressions.
Stamps: Boys Will Be Boys; Cardstock: Buttercream, Prism, DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Black pen, Buttons, Linen Thread, Ribbon, Scallop Edge Punch, Dimensionals
The Limited Supply Challenge yesterday was called THAT'S a Holiday? Yep...you guessed it....we could choose any wacky holiday from the month of May and make a card about it. No other limits...which means there shouldn't be any rule breakers...right Denise ;)
I chose to do a card on the May 16th holiday called Love a Tree Day.
This Season of Friendship stamp set is a favourite of mine and I'll never ever part with it!
Stamps: Season of Friendship; Cardstock: Tangerine, Choc chip, WW and Hawaiian Papaya DP; Inks: Choc chip, Old olive, Kiwi kiss, Tangerine; Accessories: Mat pack and paper piercer, Curly label punch, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed what I had to share!

WT217 - Kool Kraft

Good Morning!
I was worried yesterday that I wouldn't have any stamping time...but I squeezed this card in before heading off to the Volunteer Tea at the school and my second one afterward! Love days like that!
My first card uses a cool new image from the Boys Will Be Boys stamp set from Taylored Expressions. I've also used the Father's Day Key Ingredients to create my card.
Stamps: Boys Will Be Boys; Cardstock: Kraft, Prism, DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, nesties, Buttons, linen thread, ric rac, oval punch, dimensionals
My second card for the challenge is a SU! only card. I've had a few people ask lately about my piercing and mention how straight I get it. Thanks! BUT I owe it all to the SU! Mat Pack in the catty. It's a GREAT template and a must have...in my opinion :) If you are in Canada and would like to order one....drop me an email.
Stamps: Thoughts & Prayers, Best Yet; Cardstock: Kraft, Choc chip and Parisian Breeze Specialty DP; Inks: Choc chip; Accessories: Mat pack and Paper piercer, Circle punch, Scallop Circle punch, Scallop edge punch, Antique brads, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today~!
