You are such a JOY to Me!

Good Thursday Morning!
How is your week going? It's a short work week and it's feeling extra long!!! LOL!
Monday I created another card using Jen's SFYTT and some new Bo Bunny paper that I picked up at a LSS.
My Verve order still hasn't arrived. I'm beginning to think that Canada Post forgot that I moved....ha!
So I pulled out an older Verve set called Kind Words.
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a GREAT Thursday!

Some Bunny's Been Naughty ;)

LOL well not really....but this is one of the cute sentiments that comes with this TCP stamp set.

Today we are secretly heading to Banff!!! Chloe's been asking when we can go and the weather is supposed to be beautiful. Hopefully we'll get some great pictures of the snow covered mountains. I'll post them later today!

My card below was created with Jen's first SFYTT of the year.
Have you seen what she's got up her sleeve this year? If not, stop by her blog and check it out!
I KNOW I've been using an awful lot of this designer paper but I'm trying to finish up the 6 x 6 paper pad before it gets pushed aside and forgotten :(
Thanks for stopping by today!
Enjoy your Sunday!!!

Puddle Jumper Emma MTSC106

Tonight I am recovering from an all day headache and what better way to cure it....than stamping!?! Right?!
Mercy has posted her last sketch and I said I would play along.
I love this sweet Puddle Jumper Emma image that I picked up from ATS a couple of months ago.
I liked that the sketch was fairly simple. This card took about 15 minutes to make.
I have a FOUR day weekend! Yahoo!
Friday night Karen and I are going to the Calgary Flames vs the Colorado Avalanche hockey game. Then home to celebrate the New Year with Brian and Chloe!
I hope you all have a safe and happy New Year!
Best wishes for a happy and healthy 2011!

Scarlett Teacup

Last week Jessie posted something on her blog about forgotten stamps. She decided to start a Friday feature called Forgotten Stamp Friday. While sorting through my baskets on my shelf I found some old Stamping Bella cuties. This one is called Scarlett Teacup! Cute eh?
The layout comes from Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #96 yesterday.
It's back to work today...blech! I hope that I make out okay with my foot today. It's feeling a lot better but standing and walking on it all day might be a problem :(
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Monday!

Let it Snow MFT Wednesday Challenge

Hooray!
We've made it half way through the week which means it's time for another MFT Wednesday Stamp Club Challenge. This week we are thinking Winter Wonderlands.
I don't have to think about winter....we are smack in the middle of it here...ha!
I admit that I'd much rather look at the pretty snow on a card than the stuff on my grass ;)
Here I've used the adorable PI girl Flurry of Love along with the sentiment from Snowflake Flopsey.
My layout comes from the Mojo168.
I stamped the image on cream cardstock and coloured with copics. A few silver pearls, vellum snowflake, ribbon and glitter were added to finish off my card.
Stop by the MFT forum on SCS to find out all the details for this challenge. Upload your card to the SCS gallery using keyword MFTWSC12092010 for your chance to win a gift certificate to the MFT store!
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a GREAT day!

Beautiful Things

Yesterday while I was waiting for the stickles to dry on my last card, I worked on this one :) It's a quick an easy card using Karen's SSSC#95. The sentiment comes from a Taylored Expressions set and uses some old Stampin' Up papers.
Clean and crisp!
We are officially ready for Christmas at our house! All decorations are up both inside and out!!! Ok well I'm not done shopping but we LOOK like we're ready...ha!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a great start to the week!!

Merry Kissmass SFYTT

I had a little time yesterday, while Brian pulled out all the Christmas decorations, to stamp!
I still have several uninked new stamps sitting on my table downstairs....fun times!
Jen had a wonderful Sketch For You To Try (SFYTT) on her blog.
Merry KISSmass is an adorble PI girl that I had to have ;)
Stamps: Merry KISSmass; Cardstock: White Bermuda Bay, Aqua Mist, Crate Paper DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, MFT Snowflake Die-namics, Silver Pearls, Dimensionals
On a personal note....we got the house decorated yesterday and I'm soooooo in the holiday spirit this year!!! Karen was over and helped get all my snowmen displayed throughout our house. Less than ONE month until Christmas....hooray!
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Sunday!

Wishing You All The Wonder

Here is another quick card I made using Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch from last Sunday.
It's sort of out of my comfort zone with the colours and ribbon but I'm pleased with how it came out.
The stamp set is from SU! but can't think of it off the top of my head...sorry.
Stamp: SU!; Cardstock: Bravo Burgundy, Old Olive, White, MME DP; Inks: Bravo Burgundy; Accessories: Nesties, Ribbon, Dimensionals
The weather has FINALLY turned around for us and we'll be close to the freezing mark! YEAH!
Have a GREAT day!

Floral TESC134

Sunday morning while watching the Nascar race I created this quick card using Taylor's sketch from last Friday. The stamp set was a favourite of mine when I was on the Baker's Dozen. It's called Discover Your Wings. I did change the placement of the pearls. They were supposed to be on the right side of the image panel.
Stamps: Discover Your Wings; Cardstock: Kraft, Choc chip, Old Olive, October Afternoon dp; Inks: Choc Chip; Accessories: Nesties, Twill, Pearls, Mat pack and Paper piercer, Dimensionals, 2 way glue and glitter
Our weather should be improving soon....thank goodness! I can't wait to get outdoors and decorate for the holidays!
Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT day!

Snowmen Make the Bestest Friends

I'm so excited to be posting from my new Macbook Pro!!!
My best friend spoils me way too much! Thank you Karen!
She came by on Saturday and surprised me with it. Then she helped me set up my craft area....lol She was tired of seeing a mess down there I guess ;)
Sunday afternoon I stamped a bit while watching the last Nascar race of the season :(
I used the Sweet Sunday Sketch for my layout.
The image comes from last season's All That Scraps CC Designs set called Winter Bear(I think).
Stamps: Winter Bear; Cardstock: White, Pink Pirouette, MME dp; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Brad, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a great start to the work week!

Warm Tidings

Ok so once again I attempted to go down and finish setting up my stamp area BUT stamping seemed more important ;)
I found Jen's SFYTT and a MFT PI girl called Flurry of Love(currently out of stock) that hasn't seen ink. This is a quick card created with both!
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a FABULOUS weekend!

Near & Far

Things are slowly coming together and I'm in full swing of making holiday cards. There isn't much choice with less than one month for me to mail them out. That's if I want people to get them in time....lol
I usually try to mail no later than December 1st so that the recipient gets it before December 25th ;)
Julee had a wonderful sketch posted on the Mojo Blog yesterday and it was perfect to use a sentiment! This is from mojo 164.
Stamps: Star-Studded Season; Cardstock: White, Bravo Burgundy, DP; Inks: Bravo Burg, Old Olive; Accessories: Circle Nesties, Old Olive Ribbon, Mat pack and Paper piercer, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today!

Winter Wonder

It felt so good to unpack my stamps this past weekend! My SU! stamps have been neglected and I couldn't wait to ink up some of my favourites~
This card uses Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #92 that I found on her blog.
Even though I have all my supplies again, I went simple. I don't own any square nesties so I used the rectangles and over lapped them. The seam is hidden under the horizontal Pacific Point panel.
Stamps: Branch Out; Cardstock: Pacific Point, Bashful Blue, Whisper White; Inks: Choc Chip, Pacific Point, Bashful Blue; Accessories: Nesties, Mat pack and Paper piercer, MFT Die-namics Snowflakes, MFT Felt, Button, Thread, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by!

Pretty florals

Good Morning!
Tuesday afternoon I had a little extra time(well really I didn't but I made time) to make a second card. Mercy had her MTSC98 posted so I ran with that! While putting away some of my papers I came across some old Making Memories Chloe's Closet DP. Gosh, I had forgotten about this stuff. A super quick card with very little stamping. The flower stems are from a PTI set and the flowers were made with a MFT Die-namics Flower Trio.
Yesterday I received a stamp order from MFT and can't wait to get inky with those after work!!
Have a wonderful day!
Stamps: PTI Blooming Button Bits; Cardstock: White, Lemon Tart, MM Chloe's Closet DP; Inks: Kiwi Kiss; Accessories: MFT die-namics flower trio, Buttons, Thread, MFT felt, Dimensionals, Yellow Sparkly Candy Dots

We'll Be Friends Forever....The End

Before packing up the last of my stamping stuff last weekend I sat down to create a card using Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #90.

I rotated the sketch to accommodate my WTG Well Read stamp.

This Cosmo Cricket Pixie-licious DP was some that I HAD to have but I've had a lot of difficultly using it. It's bright and happy which is usually the style I go for but there is something too bright about it.

We move tomorrow! I'll be off line for a couple of days but should be back in business by the beginning of the week!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Bookends and Friends SFYTT

Happy Saturday!

I took a little break this afternoon from packing to stamp. Sometimes you just need to....kwim? So far I'm on box #23 for my kitchen...maybe I have too much stuff? ha!

This card was made using Jen's SFYTT from today.

The only stamps I have left out are PTI, MFT, Taylored Expressions and Verve. I chose to use a PTI set called All Booked Up.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a GREAT weekend!

Snow Friend

Another goodie I picked up at the LSS on Saturday was a new Inkadinkado set called Snow Friends. I don't honestly know if it's NEW but it's new to me ;)

Jen had a wonderful SFYTT posted and the snowman image fit perfectly in the oval nestie. Love when things come together so nicely :)

I really like to stamp and colour on kraft but prefer to use my Prisma Pencils. Unfortunately, they are packed :( Copics do a nice job too!

Stamps: SnowFriends; Cardstock: Kraft, Choc Chip, Crate Paper 6 x 6 pad; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, MFT Die-namics Open Scallop, Mat pack and Paper piercer, Ribbon, White Sparkly Candy Dots, Dimensionals, Stickles, MFT Snowflake Die-namics, Glitter
Thanks for stopping by today!

Love You SFYTT

I had hoped to get more stamping done today but decided to go get my hair cut and coloured instead. It was time...lol! I went totally different this time and I love it! I will try to get a picture tomorrow :)

After dinner I said I HAD to stamp...dishes could wait!

I whipped up this quick card using Jen's SFYTT and one of the Unity KOTM's that finally arrived.

In less than one month we are moving and I need to get a move on when it comes to the packing. I made an executive decision today. My stamps will be the LAST thing I pack!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a GREAT weekend!
Stamps: Unity; Cardstock: Real Red, So Saffron, White, October Afternoon dp; Inks: So Saffron, Real Red; Accessories: Sewing Machine, Button, Thread, Ghost Heart, Red Stickles, Dimensionals

Thinking of You SFYTT

Well I'm home and it's great to be with my family!

Being away for two weeks has been crazy but soon we'll all be moving and my commuting will be cut down. Whew!

Chloe headed out to play with her friends, Brian was packing up his computer room which meant nobody would mind if I stamped ;)

I had laundry to do so it was perfect timing. I took a look at what Jen had for her SFYTT this week and it was a good one....as always!

I used some pretty My Mind's Eye DP along with the Verve set called Kind Words.

Thanks for looking!

Birthdays Are The Best

Karen had a wonderful Sweet Sunday Sketch#85 on her blog and there was a little bonus involved. You were to make it a birthday card that you could send off to the soldiers.

I pulled out some pretty PTI stamps and the coordinating PTI flower die. Finished the flowers off with a few PTI Lemon Tart buttons and thread.

Thanks for stopping by!
