For most it likely means the weekend but those of us in retail often work weekends.

That's me! LOL!

Since I still had the supplies on my desk from yesterday's card I decided to use them again for the SCS Free 4 All Challenge - use three dies or three punches on your project.

Again I did a light colour wash onto a couple pieces of mixed media paper and then die cut three butterflies with one of them after it had dried.

Sweet Sunday Sketch #197

Last week we were out of town in Montana and I was unable to play along with Karen's Sweet Sunday sketch.

Luckily this week I was able to make two cards using the sketch below.

First up was the super cute PI Holly Girl .

Arrows 'n Elements - Challenge Cards

Well it's back to work for me....bummer!

Oh well in another 4 weeks I'm on vacation again! LOL!

I know it's not that bad, eh?

Today I have a couple of Reverse Confetti cards to share with you that I created last week for some challenges.

First up is this Arrows 'n Elements card created for the SCS Ways to Use It Challenge #436 - Chevrons as well as the Freshly Made Sketch #95.

It was another busy week and I haven't stamped but I do have a card from a week ago's Free 4 All Challenge of using a character on your card.

We all know that the PI girls from MFT are my fave characters....lol

I coloured her with copics and paired her up with some MME designer papers.

Die cut is from MFT and ribbon is from PTI.

Hello!

Last Friday I had some stampy time in the morning so I played along with the F4A Challenge.

It was to make a thank you card and also use your fave embellishment.

Really? Choose just one?

Well I love to use my paper piercer for holes when the image panel just needs something.

I wasn't sure if that was a legal embellishment....lol....so I added another fave....ribbon.

I've made a good dent in my to do list this week!

Today my furnace is getting cleaned so until the dude leaves I probably won't be stamping.

After that....look out!

You Blow Me Away

My vacation started yesterday and it was wonderful to have a day at home doing nothing but relaxing and stamping! We will be leaving on Sunday for a week which gives me today to do a little more stamping while I clean and pack.

I finally received a MFT package this week and was thrilled to sit down and use this fun Pinwheel dienamic! Squeal!

I combined the Free 4 All challenge of embossing with the SCS sketch this week to create this card.

Happy Saturday!

Last night Snickers wanted to go downstairs stamping so I granted her wish ;)

I knew there'd be a fabulous new Viva La Verve sketch posted in the Verve Forum on SCS so I took a peek.

I ended up combining the sketch with the Free 4 All Challenge of Twine.

Pulled out the fun set called Happy Days and some of the colourful Echo Park Splash designer paper to create this card.

Friday morning I had an extra 20 minutes before work and I took advantage of it....

This week they asked us to use stripes.

Here's another card that Sandy and I created using the Free For All Challenge last week for the Home Sweet Home theme. The layout came from that weeks SCS sketch as well.

I love this Taylored Expressions stamp set Branching Out.
