Viva La Verve Card

Good Morning!
Can I just say how ridiculous our weather has been! If SPRING doesn't arrive soon...I'm going to lose it....lol My cute little flip flops are screaming to come out of the closet! Do you know I haven't even put away the winter boots....just in case ;)
Last night I started to set up an Etsy store!! I think I'll look back through some of my more recent cards and choose 10 favourites to list later today.
This card was created for the third Viva La Verve April Challenge. It was this fun layout and these colours....Baja Breeze, Summer Sun and More Mustard. Sounds funky eh? But really...it turned out to be an okay combo! What do you think?
Stamps: Petals and Stems; Cardstock: PTI white, Baja, Summer sun, More mustard and Good Morning Sunshine dp; Inks: Baja, Summer sun, Black; Accessories: Circle nesties, mat pack and paper piercer, Baja ribbon, dimensionals

Are you tired of me using Cheep Talk and Good Morning Sunshine DP? Well if you are, you'll be happy to know I'm down to less than half a pack left...haha! I really wanted to make a SU! only card for the Weekend Sketch Challenge that is being hosted by Mary Jo.

Happy Saturday!

Good Morning!
This afternoon I'm having a Stamp A Stack and I still need to set up for it. Will be working on it after I tidy up my house and clean the bathroom ;)
I'll try to share the cards a little later. For now I'll show you two cards I made yesterday in between prepping for my SAS.
This first card was made for the Limited Supplies Challenge and also Beate's WSC that is being hosted by my Baker's Dozen team member Charmaine! Stop by Charmaine's blog to see the sketch and play along! The LSC was to use only black and white. I panicked a bit at first because black isn't really my thing BUT I found this stash of DP in the drawer....yippee! I decided to use a sentiment from the new Verve set called Miracles Blossom.
Stamps: Miracles Blossom; Cardstock: White, Black and Imaginisce DP; Inks: Black; Accessories: Silver Brads, 1/4" and 1/2" circle punches, Oval nesties, Dimensionals
It's time for another Saturday Sketch from Lauren. Since it's the last Saturday of the month we are re-visiting an old sketch of our choice!
For my card today I've used a new H & M Stamp set called Angelic Moments.
Please keep Lauren in your thoughts today....she had a little surgery yesterday but I'm sure she'll be up and stamping in no time! Sending big hugs your way Lauren!
Stamps: Angelic Moments; Cardstock: Dark Chocolate, Lavender Moon, Shimmery White and PTI pattern paper; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Lavender Moon Ribbon, Scalloped Edge Punch, Stickles, Dimensionals

Oh I have some FABULOUS news...
Remember my missing Flight of the Butterfly set that I misplaced MONTHS ago....well I've found it! Yep....now I've got TWO sets....lol...oh well! I'm just happy to report I wasn't losing my mind and didn't throw it in the trash :)
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!

I've been stamping like MAD the past couple of days! Tomorrow I have a Stamp A Stack to prep for...I'm always running behind when it comes to getting it all together BUT on the day of the class...I'm ready!
I did work on all the Viva La Verve Challenges on SCS but didn't want to overload you with too many things so if you are interested you can look in my gallery here.
So many beautiful cards have been made using the Fifth Ave Floral from SU! and Friends 'til the End by PTI.
I don't own any of those stamps...YET ;) but I do own this one from Stampendous!

Challenge Cards

Good Morning!
We have received a large dump of snow this weekend and that means I don't go out! LOL!
It also means that I can stay home and STAMP!
Yesterday I found Julee had posted a cool Verve Release Sketch Challenge on the Verve blog and I REALLY wanted to play along! So I used the same basic supplies to create these next two cards.
Cool Caribbean, Pumpkin Pie, WW and MME Bloom & Grow DP
Floral Whimsy Stamp Set.

This card was made using the Weekend Sketch Challenge 71 that I found on Beate's Blog. It was also made for the Inspiration Challenge 170 on SCS. I chose the second picture that was posted.
Earlier this week I'd received the newest H & M Stamps and really wanted to play with this set called Eggstra Special that was designed by Debbie Corbari.
Stamps: Eggstra Special; Card Stock: White, Saffron, Choc chip, Pumpkin pie and Summer Picnic dp; Inks: Memento Rich Cocoa, Celery; Accessories: Copics, Wavy Border punch, Circle punches, Choc satin ribbon, Designer label punch, dimensionals

I ♥ Easter and Cupcakes!

My last sneak peek for you from All That Scraps.
All the stamps will be available tomorrow on March 2nd.
When I saw this cute little set called Hunny Bunny I knew I'd want to make a cute little basket for Chloe! She's going to love this :)
I used Cammie's Tutorial for the basket and added a handle. Taking this picture proved to be difficult because I really wanted to show the handle detail...lol
Stamps: Hunny Bunny; Cardstock: PTI Aqua mist, Barely Banana, White and MM Flower Patch dp; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Eyelet Border Punch, Brads, Ribbon, Oval nesties, Heart punch
I realized last night that I did not show my February Viva La Verve Challenge cards.
I used the Verve set Cupcake Affair on all my cards.

Challenge cards

Yesterday was a HAPPY day at our house! I've looked through the new catty and made a big list of things...now to decide WHAT to order ;) With Sale-A-Bration next month I'm tossing up the idea of ordering a few things now and then a HUGE order when Sale-A-Bration starts.
While anxiously awaiting my delivery yesterday I sat down to work on the Way To Use It Challenge on SCS. It was all about stars. My husband bought me tons of stamping goodies for Christmas and this Bo Bunny DP and brads were some of them. I've used a new set from SU! called Love You Much and coloured the letters with my Copic markers.
Stamps: Love You Much; Cardstock: Real Red, Pretty in Pink, WW and Bo Bunny DP; Inks: Adirondack Black; Accessories: Copics, Label nesties, Scalloped edge punch, Small star punch, Bo Bunny Brads, Dimensionals
Here is another card for the WT200 challenge....not too sure where I was going with this....but I used up some old scraps.
Stamps: A Little Somethin; Cardstock: Kraft, Old Olive, Choc chip, WW and American Crafts DP; Inks: Pretty in Pink, Choc chip craft ink; Accessories: Chipboards stars, Large star punch, dimensionals
This was my last card made for Verve's challenges. Now I have a complete set!

Challenge Cards

Holy freakin' dina! You know what is supposed to come today?! The new SU! catty! It says delivery TODAY! I'm sure like most of you....I'll be stalking the postal dudes...haha! ETA: Got my catties!!!
Have you all been to the Verve Forum on SCS lately? Julee has some fabulous challenges going on this week. If you play along, there is a chance you could win some of her new stamps coming out this week!!! These started on Monday so I had a little work to do to catch up. After doing the first card which was a colour challenge....Kraft, Riding Hood Red, Blush Blossom....I decided to do all the cards with the same basic supplies. I'm hoping that the 4th challenge will fit into this set but if not, oh well! I used the Verve Set called Serenity.
This is my first card:
Here is my second challenge card:
Here is the third challenge card:
This is a card I made using the Calling All Angels set from H & M Stamps. It was made using the Sketch Challenge on SCS. I can't recall the last time I used Pixie Pink....probably for a colour challenge....lol but it did go well with the Romance Line by American Crafts.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Happy Tuesday!

Good Morning!
Today I hope to play with my new SU! goodies that arrived last evening around dinner. I had no time to stamp last night because I was watching tons of hockey!
Julee has a new Mojo Monday blog that you can find HERE. I love working on her sketches each week and what's better this week? A prize of course! Now I don't normally win things but I do enjoy playing along! LOL! This is what I came up with using her sketch.
Stamps: Petals and Stems, Cute and Curly; Cardstock: PTI white, So Saffron, Riding Hood Red, WW and My Mind's Eye dp; Inks: Olive, Pumpkin, Riding Hood, Saffron; Accessories: Top Note Die, Curvy label punch, Button, Linen thread, White brads, Flower fustion, 1/4" punch, Silver brad, Dimensionals
My nephew is having a birthday this month and from what I understand they are really into one of those Rock Band games or something....lol So I thought this would be a fun card for him! Rock-On is a set from H & M Stamps who happen to be having a HUGE GARAGE SALE! I actually cased this card from a fellow H & M design team member....Neva who had actually cased JulieHHR! Do you think the scalloped edge is too girly for a boys card?
Stamps: Rock-On; Cardstock: Kraft, So Saffron, Wild Wasabi, Cosmo Cricket DP; Inks: Versafine Black; Accessories: Scalloped edge punch, Circle punch, Word window punch, Curvy label punch, Dimensionals
