Spring Thing

Happy Saturday!
Pacific Point hasn't been a colour I have used all that often yet I do love the look...especially with this Designer Paper. For this card I've used Lauren's Saturday Sketch #25. It started out being a SU! only card but then I decided to use some smaller white brads instead....then heck since I did that...I decided to use the Curvy Rectangle Nestie....haha!
Stamps: Cheep Talk; Cardstock: Pacific Point, WW and Good Morning DP; Inks: Pacific Point, Bashful Blue, Pumpkin Pie, Close to Cocoa; Accessories: White Brads, Curvy Rectangle Nesties, Pacific Point Ribbon, Eyelet Border Punch, Dimensionals
My All That Scraps preview today is from CC Designs and is called Gingersnaps Spring Thing. Totally adorabe eh?
My layout comes from the Our Creative Corner Sketch that Laurie came up with. Stop by the OCC blog to see the sketch up close and what beautiful samples have been made!
I added some Crystal Effects to the puddle and some Stardust stickles to all the hearts.
Stamps: Gingersnaps Spring Thing; Cardstock: Bashful Blue, So Saffron, White and Delicate Dots dp; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Stickles, Primas, Gem, Oval Punches, Saffron ribbon, Eyelet Border punch, Oval nesties, Dimensionals, Crystal Effects
Today H & M Stamps DT are previewing the upcoming release! My stamps have not arrived yet but I'm hoping soon!!!
Thanks for stopping by!

So Glad We're Friends

Good Morning Friends!
My card today is for both of my Saturday Challenges...
This week Lauren has asked the girls to choose a past sketch and re-visit it! I had fun cruising back through her sketches....wow....so many! I ended up choosing one from June 2008 that you can see HERE.
Laurie is our hostess this month at the OCC and she challenged us to use a tag somewhere on our card. I had this super cute Magnolia image coloured on my desk in hopes I could use it soon. I think I looked through Lauren's sketches until I found something that I could use it on and also this fabulous MM Chloe's Closet DP...lol Isn't is beautiful?!!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Thanks for stopping by!
Stamps: Magnolia, Best Yet; Cardstock: Core'dinations Textured Peach, Blue Bayou, White and MM Chloe's Closet dp; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: EK Success Wavy Border Bunch, Chloe's Closet Buttons and Gem, Key Tag Punch, Linen Thread, Copics, Dimensionals, Paper Snips, May Arts Ribbon, Stickles

Hello there friend!

Good Morning!
Happy Valentine's Day!
I hope you all had a great week!
My first card is for today's Our Creative Corner Challenge. This month's hostess is Laurie and she has provided us with an awesome sketch this week!
I couldn't wait to dig into my new SU! goodies and create a SU! only card for today.
The Marigold Morning cardstock is retired though :( BUT it does go well with the DP, doesn't it? I actually think it goes better than Summer Sun which is listed as a colour in it.
Anyway, stop by the OCC blog to see what the girls have created with this fun sketch!
Stamps: Cheep Talk; Cardstock: Choc chip, Morning Marigold, Pacific Point, WW and Good Morning DP; Inks: Black, Pacific Point, Choc Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Marigold Morning; Accessories: Circle Punches, Mat Pack and Paper Piercer, Photo Corner Punch, Dimensionals, Eyelet Border Punch, Antique Brads
For Lauren's Saturday Sketch I decided to try something that I haven't done in a long time....Poppin' Pastels! I stamped the butterfly in Versamark and sponged on a few chalks then cut it out and popped it up on a dimensionals. The brads are actually a RAK from Lauren from last Valentine's Day!
Stamps: Simple Friendship, Cheep Talk; Cardstock: Kraft, Pretty in Pink, WW and Sweet Always DP; Inks: VersaMark, Pretty in Pink; Accessories: Pastels, Paper Piercer, Paper Snips, Flower Brads, Dimensionals
Pop on over to the Saturday Sketch Girl's Blogs to see what they created with this fun sketch!
Tamara Harder
Thanks for stopping by today!
Don't forget tomorrow I'll be back with a card for the challenge that Denise and I are doing....Racing Cards! Play along if you can!

I'm soooooooooo lucky to have a wonderful friend, Renee Van Stralen from Stamping for Sanity who spent her Friday re-doing my blog for me! She's amazing! Thank you soooooooooo much Renee! I could NOT have done it without you.
I'll continue to work on the blog and get a new header made soon :)
My first card is for Lauren's Saturday Sketch. I am loving the Loop to Loop rub ons that come in the Hand Drawn Bundle Level 3 Hostess. They make a fun, simple and quick card.

Super Saturday!

Good Morning!
It's going to be BEAUTIFUL here this weekend! I LOVE when it's above freezing! THIS sort of winter weather, I can handle ;)
Earlier this week I received my new stamps from Taylored Expressions. This cupcake from Love is Sweet worked so well with Lauren's Saturday Sketch! Are you diggin' these cute colours? I found them on THIS site from the other day.
I used PTI white with Soft Sky, Barely Banana, Regal Rose and Light Purple Core'dinations.
Want to see what the other Saturday Sketch Girls have done:
Stamps: Love is Sweet; Cardstock: PTI white, Soft Sky, Barely Banana, Regal Rose, Purple Core'dinations; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Circle Nesties, Word Windo Punch, Heart Trio Punch, Xyron Machine, Glitter, Dimensionals, Copics, Circle Punch
I almost didn't get to play in the Our Creative Corner Challenge this week because it was the Emboss Resist Technique and my heat gun was not working. Finally found one and I got to work! I used Taylor's TECC51 sketch challenge for my layout. I stamped the Upsy Daisy image in Versamark and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder...then ran my brayer over it with Riding Hood Red ink.

It's all about friendship!

Good Morning!
Today I'm off to meet my friend Peggy, who owns PaperWorksCo to pick up my batch of Copic markers I ordered the other day! I'm so excited!
First I'd like to share some of my challenge cards with you....there are three so be sure to scroll all the way down ;)
This first one was for the Limited Supplies Challenge on SCS. I love to do this challenge each week but it drives me insane when people can't follow a few simple rules. I had to stop commenting yesterday on SCS because I'm not a rule breaker and rule breakers were upsetting me....lol
These were the rules:
*Stamps: Any (bonus points for using a heart image!)
*Paper: any + red...any shade of red
*if you use a punch or die it must be heart shaped
*if you use embossing folders...they must have a heart
*if you use an accessory it MUST be heart shaped or red
*if you use designer paper...yup you guessed it, red or hearts!
I can't tell you how many people I saw using embellishments that weren't red or hearts...that used nesties that weren't heart shaped....that used DP that wasn't red or had hearts....oh I could go on and on...but I'll get off my soapbox now....lol
Stamps: Love You Much; Cardstock: Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, Very Vanilla and Bo Bunny DP; Inks: Adirondack Black; Accessories: Copics, Heart Punch, Heart Trio Punch, Primary Dew Drops, Quickie glue pen, Bo Bunny Brad, Dimensionals
This next card is a combo of two of my Saturday challenges. First it uses Lauren's sketch and also the OCC - 2 shades of blue challenge. I went super simple with this card but I really like the look! Want to see what the Saturday Sketch Team has done:

Stamps: A Little Somthin'; Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Not Quite Navy, WW and Washington Apple DP; Inks: Bashful Blue, NQN; Accessories: Circle Nesties, Grosgrain, Dew Drops, Paper piercer, Dimensionals, Prima, Silver Brad
This is a second card I made for today's Our Creative Corner Challenge. Stop by the blog to see what the girls have created and all the challenge details.

Super Saturday!

Good Morning!
I've got some challenge cards to share with you today. I hope you will be able to play along.
This first one is for the Our Creative Corner Challenge.
This week Julee challenged the girls to add some clear element to our cards. I'm sure you have noticed how much I'm loving heart ghost shapes lately ;)
Being that my wonderful husband bought me a ton of goodies for Christmas I had to use some for this card. The Bo Bunny DP, Heart Ghost Shapes and Bo Bunny Felt Brads were all a gift!
Stop by the OCC girl's blogs to see their wonderful creations up close:
My next card is a combo of Lauren's Saturday Sketch and the OCC challenge again. More heart shapes! This one uses my new Sizzix Heart Die again and My Mind's Eye Irresistable DP that Brian gave me ;) I've used the super sweet Gingersnap Angels Everywhere again for my card.

Bubs the Beaver

Good Morning!
Finally we are on Christmas Break! Yeah! I'm so looking forward to relaxing in the mornings...no rush rush rush for two whole weeks!
This has been a busy week and there are so many different things going on here that I didn't have a whole lot of stamping time yesterday. So....I combined my two Saturday Challenges.
The Our Creative Corner Challenge that Julee gave us was to make an Anniversary card or a lovey card for someone. Hop on over to the OCC blog to see what super cool prize you could possibly win ;)
Today is Julee's Wedding Anniversary....Happy Anniversary Julee!
I used Lauren's Saturday Sketch for my card :)
A little about my card:
I used the super cute Bubs The Beaver set from Our Craft Lounge for the image and the sentiment is from Verve's Feeling Groovy. The chipboard circle heart shape was covered with Soft Baby Pink Flower Soft. That stuff is SO cool! I punched a choc chip cs circle and glued it to the back of the heart shape.

I'm sooooooooooo glad it's the weekend! Not that I'm going to get much rest or anything! Today I have some shopping to do and finish my Christmas cards. Tonight Brian and I have his company Christmas party. It's bitterly cold here now and will continue for the next several days....highs of -25C which is -13F....I wish I didn't have to go anywhere....lol
Lauren has a great sketch today! I've taken advantage of the cool Scenic Route DP I had so there really isn't much stamping to this card. Just this cute little snowman from the CC Designs set called Winter Bear. Stop by Lauren's blog to see the sketch and what all the other Saturday Sketch girls have come up with as well!
