Sunshine :)

Hi!
ahhhhh vacation/time off work is awesome!
We've had some great weather, family time and stamping time!
Next Monday will come quickly :(

Until then I'll stamp as much as I can!

Here is a card I created last weekend using the Color Throwdown Challenge from last week.

It's a fairly quick CAS card.
I embossed the cloud background on white and popped up some butterflies from Reverse Confetti.
The Sunshine was die cut from SU(4x) and I brushed some Wink of Stella on it for a little sparkle ;)

Paper: White, Pool Party
Ink: Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Lucky Limeade

A Happy Hello

A Happy Hello is right!

I've had a busy vacation week. It was mostly a Stay-cation but for the most part I enjoyed my time.
Chloe and I went to Calgary to do a little shopping and had some girl time. It was fun! I got my hair done and lightened it a bit for the summer :)
Then of course I had new stamps waiting for me!
I created the card below using these sweet Reverse Confetti images and dies.

This card was also created for two challenges:

Happy Wednesday!

Although I was off work today I didn't stamp :(
I just couldn't muster the energy to head down and get inky.
I've been exhausted lately and a day of relaxation was in order.
Kick back with a good book!

Dance In the Rain

Hello!

I hope that you had an enjoyable Christmas and were able to spend it with your loved ones.
Ours was quiet as always with just the three of us and the animals :)
Yesterday we did a little Boxing Day shopping but the only thing we walked away with were toys for Oreo....lol
Didn't see anything we really wanted or needed.

I'm hoping today to get in my craft room and start on some nice spring cards! I know we are only in our first week of winter but I'm ready to create something other than snowy cards. How about you?

Here is a card I created a couple of weeks ago for the Freshly Made Sketch. This card was chosen as a fave :)
Stamps and dies are from Reverse Confetti and also MFT.

Adventure Awaits

Hi!

How about a little change up from all the holiday cards?

One of my assistants is leaving the company tomorrow to move onto a totally different job working for Alberta Health Services. Sounds like a great opportunity and I wanted to wish him luck in his new adventure!
I know how hard it is to make a change and for him he's been with us for 10+ years. Scary and exciting at the same time!

This is a card I created for him using Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch and some cute Reverse Confetti stamps/dies.

You're Out of This World

Hello!

This has been a crazy week. No free time really :(
Think I need another vacation! LOL!
Lucky for me I still have one more week to take before December!!!

Last Sunday I made a couple of cards using the Freshly Made Sketch #200
This one uses stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti.
I just LOVE this globe die! So many fun sentiments in the set too!

I stamped the dots with one of my fave SU! colours called Strawberry Slush. LOVE the new SU! ink pads....so much better than the old. They are so juicy!
I die cut the globe a few times with different cardstock colours so I could piece it the way I wanted.

Wishing You Sunshine

Hello!

I've been lucky to have quite a bit of stampy time this weekend!
If the weather wasn't so nice I'd be down here stamping non-stop but it's nice out and the fresh air is awesome!

I just finished this card for Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #270.

I used some fun Reverse Confetti Stamps and Dies.

You Are Never Too Old To Be A Rockstar

Hello!

Last week Jen from Reverse Confetti posted a new Color Challenge that runs for a couple of weeks. Being that I'm challenged with gray I decided I must play along ;)
The layout comes from the CAS(E) this Sketch #54.
For the horizontal element I stamped some dots from the Whole Lotta Dots and the sentiment was layered up using  Inner Rockstar.

I Can Always Count On You. Thanks

Happy Saturday!

I've been stuck in a little bit of a stamping rut the last couple of weeks. Not a bad rut but one that had me focused on holiday cards, many of which were red and green.
So yesterday I posted a note on FB asking people to give me some colour ideas.
First person to post was Katherine Cosimano with dark brown, light grey and bright turquoise.

That colour combo had me hyperventilating....seriously.
Grey? I never use grey or VERY rarely.
BUT I did ask for some help and I'm not one to back down to a challenge ;)

I pulled out some Reverse Confetti stamps and made a card for my husband!
He's always been so supportive and someone I can count on day in and day out.

Double Double Toil & Trouble

Hooray for Friday!

I finally have THREE days off in a row! I'm making up for some time owed and it's going to be wonderful!
There is still a ton of things to do around our house since the move. A few boxes need to be gone through, a search for a few items that I still can't locate and then likely a run to the recycle depot with cardboard.

Not to worry....I'll sneak a little bit of stamping in :)

Here's a Reverse Confetti card I created for two challenges earlier this week.
I love the chalkboard effect and when I first discovered it several months ago I maybe over did it on every card. It's been awhile so I thought it was time to get inky with my white craft ink again!
I stamped several sentiments from the Spooky Sentiments in white craft and heat set before sponging on a bit of the same ink. The pumpkins are from the Spooky Cuties stamp set.
With Halloween just around the corner I thought I better give those Martha punches some love.
Thanks for stopping by today!
