Live The Life You've Imagined

Happy 2016!
I hope that this year brings everyone happiness and health!
We are looking forward to a fantastic year and hope that everyone in this house stays healthy this year. No more hospital visits ;)

Last week on NYE I was off work and managed to make a card for three Splitcoast challenges.
Colour Challenge, Sketch Challenge and Ways to Use It Challenge.
Cracked Glass was the technique. Gosh I can't recall the last time I've done that! It's such a pretty technique.

Peace

Hello!

Gosh can you believe we are only a week away from Christmas?!
I haven't bought ONE present yet...yikes!

This year has been so hectic!
I'll be that last minutes shopper next week after work....lol

This morning I dropped Oreo off at the vet to be spayed.
The house was super quiet so I decided to go create one last(I hope) Christmas card.

I used the Freshly Made Sketch #217 and combined it with the Ways to Use It Challenge on SCS - Bring on the Bling.
This is a SU! only card.

Stamps: Wondrous Wreath Paper: White, Real Red, Mossy Meadow Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Mossy Meadow, Real Red Accessories: Christmas Greetings Thinlits, Wonderful Wreath Framelits, Dazzling Diamonds, Two Way Glue Pen, Dimensionals, Red Stickles, Mat Pack and Paper Piercer

Life Is Good

Hello :)

Remember last week when I said that orange, yellow and pink were coming up?
Well here is one card I created for today's Ways To Use It Challenge on SCS.

Last Thursday was Leftie day.
So the challenge was to use the left side of your card as your main focus.
Easy and fun!

I did a light colour wash over a mixed media piece of paper and let it dry.
Then I die cut some pretty butterflies to match.
Stamps: Remember ThisPaper: White, Watercolour Paper, Daffodil Delight, Tangelo Twist, Strawberry SlushInk: Daffodil Delight, Tangelo Twist, Strawberry Slush, BlackAccessories: Waterbrush, Scallop Die, Bold Butterfly Framelits die, Sewing, Dimensionals

Here is a card I created for her last week.
It was for the Ways To Use It Challenge - Reinkers on SCS.
I cased a card I saw on Pinterest here.

We aren't sure what we'll do just yet. I feel like I have a million things I'd like to do but know that's not possible ha!
There are a few clouds in the sky but this is Lethbridge and it's almost always windy so I'm keeping my fingers crossed they'll blow away!

Make Today Wonderful

Yesterday I had the morning off and was able to do a little stamping. Always a fun way to start the day off!
I'm missing Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketches and was thrilled to be able to play along with the girls while playing along with the Ways To Use It Challenge - Buttons on SCS as well.

With it being SPRING now....lol....even though we got snow yesterday....I wanted to use some happy and upbeat colours!
I stamped the wood grain background stamp from MFT's Western Backgrounds in Versamark on the red cardstock. The sentiment panel was first stamped with Pretty Poppies script in Daffodil Delight and over stamped with a sentiment from Simply Fabulous in black ink.

Happy Holidays

Happy Wednesday!

I'm off today which is nice!
Having a weekday off I get a LOT more done around the house ;)

In November I'd like to do a fundraiser at work for all the colleagues so I better get at making up 5 samples of cards that we'll make. It's better to have the samples made before I make a sign up sheet. People likely want to know what the cards look like, right?

Maybe I'll work on that today!

For now I have a card to share with you that I created last week for the Dynamic Duos Challenge #169 of Midnight Muse, Pool Party and White. As well as the SCS Ways To Use It Challenge #449 Chipboard.

SCS Ways To Use It Challenge

Good Friday Morning!
Wow this week has flown by :(
Only a few days until I return to work.
I think I'll get more rest going back to work...lol This past week has been so busy!

Yesterday morning while doing the laundry and before going to the bottle depot, I created two cards for the Ways To Use It Challenge - Baby, It's Cold Outside.
Oh and it's COLD here... -15C this morning....brrrrr!
I promise to put this adorable snowman away soon! I think it's my ALL TIME favourite image from MFT!!!
I added some Clear Glaze pen to the image, just as Michele did here on her card. Love the look!
This next one uses another new image from MFT. I thought of Chloe when they were sneak peekin' this one last month. I'm not sure about that Loopy Blooms Die :(
I wanted it SO badly but I think it might be too bulky. It does look pretty though!
Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a GREAT Friday!

Beautiful Butterfly

One more sleep until Christmas!
Today we are just lounging around the house playing games and maybe a little stamping.
We are having spiral honey ham for dinner tonight...YUM!
Yesterday before I started cleaning the house I decided I'd do a little crafting...fun times!
Thursday's Ways to Use It Challenge was about popping it up. I also used Wednesday's sketch 312.
This is a Stampin' Up Only card.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Enjoy your Christmas Eve!

MFT cutie

I had big plans yesterday to tackle so many different chores and well it started off good....but then I sat down and I was done! ha!
I managed to get some important things done like go to the vet for Snickers food, the pet store for Fozzy's food, laundry and of course stamp. I still have so many things on my to-do list it isn't funny! Not to worry, I'll get 'em done....I always do!
My thank you card below was made for the WT challenge of ribbon on SCS and it also uses Mercy's MTSC78 sketch.
I stamped the PI girl from Hip to be Square and coloured her with copics. The flower was made using a blossom nestie shape and some fun MFT felt. The petals were created with the small and large oval punches from SU!. I stamped the thank you sentiment from Apple for You. Sort of a different thank you card for one of the teachers.
Stamps: Apple for You, Hip to be Square; Cardstock: White, Lemon Tart, Wasabi, Cosmo Cricket DeLovely DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Oval Punches, White Brad, Die-namics Grass, Felt, Mat Pack and Paper Piercer, Ribbon, Dimensionals

Yesterday I made another quick 10 minute card for the Ways To Use It Challenge - Distressing.
Distressing is something I don't often do so I went super simple with this one. I used another new Verve set called Dude. What a fun set with little sentiments!
Stamps: Dude; Cardstock: Kraft, October Afternoon DP; Inks: Choc Chip, Close to Cocoa, Really Rust, Creamy Caramel; Accessories: Paper Piercer, Distressing Tool, Dimensionals

Hi, it's me...and Sending You Sunshine

Good Afternoon!
I wanted to share a couple of challenge cards that I made.
This first one uses the SCS sketch from yesterday and the adorable Heart Stripes girl from MFT.
This second one was made for today's WT challenge of chipboard crazy. I used a plain mini scroll that I left unfinished to match the kraft cardstock from Couture.
The stamps are of some sneak peeks from My Time Made Easy.
Here I stamped the Sending You Sunshine in Summer Sun from the Sensational Sentiments. The little flowers and stripe are from Paper Pattern Pieces. I stamped those in White craft ink.
Thanks for stopping by this afternoon! Have a wonderful Thursday!

My Time...

It was so nice to have yesterday off! Although I didn't get as much stamping done as I would have liked, I did manage to get two completed :)
Both cards below use the SCS sketch from Wednesday and the Ways To Use It Challenge of Mixing Patterns. I ♥ mixing patterns!
My first card uses the set All A Flutter Sentiments from My Time Made Easy. Last week before leaving for Calgary my package from Lauren arrived and boy did she spoil me rotten!!! Wait until you see the upcoming release! I'm so excited to be joining in this month! Stay tuned....next week ;)
Ok back to my card! I used some pretty American Crafts designer paper and a Martha butterfly punch to finish it off.
My second card uses an Inkadinkado stamp set called Birthday Cupcakes. I stopped in to a local scrapbooking store called Scrap-a-Lot and picked up some of the fun AC Dear Lizzy embellishments. I don't know why I didn't pick them up when I got the paper a couple of weeks ago. I don't often use these sort of embellishments but they are FUN!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope to have some energy after working today to stamp this evening :)
Have a WONDERFUL Friday!
