Oh, Hello

Today was a nice day to just stay in and stamp.
It was dreary out and although most of our snow is gone you can definitely tell it's still winter.
Come on SPRING! LOL!

Since I had the day off I was able to participate in the SCS Featured Stamper Challenge.
Michele was the star today and she has such an awesome gallery. I've been admiring her for sometime now ;)
I chose to case her card here.

It's Sale-a-bration right now at SU! and luckily I placed a nice big order for myself(even though I'm a demo) and got a bunch of free goodies! This sweet set is fun to watercolour.
Honeycomb Happiness has this sweet chick, balloon and ice cream cone.

Grateful

Hello!
Hope everyone had a nice Easter!

It was a quiet day for us. Some much needed R&R time.
I was able to get into my stamp area and do some organizing and then stamping!

I created the card below for the Featured Stamper on SCS and also for the Paper Players Challenge this week to use die cuts.
I chose to CASE Stef's card here.
I really wanted to use some of the tools that Brian had gotten for me over the past several months.
So I got busy with some distress inks and my paint brush. Once that dried I reached for some modelling paste and a stencil.
I forgot how fun it is to get messy! LOL!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello

Hello

I seriously need to start packing up this room rather than stamping.
It's just that I haven't had as much time lately so I'm taking advantage of it while I can.
Who wouldn't right?

Sunday I cased Sue's card HERE as she was the Featured Stamper.
I LOVE rainbows and was really inspired by hers.

This is what I created.

Happy weekend!

You Will Never Find a Rainbow Looking Down

Hello :)

Happy Monday!
We had a fabulous weekend here in Calgary. The weather was FANTASTIC! Hot!
I spent a little time outdoors but coming into the air conditioning was nice....ahhhhhh!

Sunday afternoon I played along with the Featured Stamper on SCS.
I love Heidi's card here with all the circles....so fun!

When I first started this card I was going to use a sentiment from the I Like You set from Reverse Confetti because of the glitter but there were so many options that I changed my mind. Going with a sentiment from Dream In Color and more rainbows ;)
I love how the glitter softened the look.
Grabbing scraps of coloured cardstock from my bin I die cut a bunch of different nestie circles, ran it through my Xyron and added SU! Dazzling Diamonds. A quick and easy CAS card!

I ♥ Stamps!

Hello :)

The weather looks to be sooooooo nice all week here in Calgary!
I hope that I can enjoy some relaxing time out on the deck in the evenings. It's nice to grab my book and sit outdoors. That's if the dogs out back don't go on one of their barking sprees.

We have a lot going on at home right now which means a lot less crafty time.
I did make a card for the Featured Stamper on SCS last weekend.
I pulled out a cute new PI that I received last month. First chance I've had to ink her up....I know....what a shame!

Happy Birthday - Featured Stamper - Dynamic Duos

Good Morning!

How about a break from all the red, yellow and blue?

Sunday afternoon I had a great deal of stampy time and it was WONDERFUL! I think I headed up to my stamp room several times throughout the day.
I could definitely get used to that! LOL!
Here I have combined the Featured Stamper #336 and the Dynamic Duos Challenge #61 of Pink Pirouette and Sahara Sand.
I cased Jeanne's card here.
Loved the pretty florals and gorgeous layout of Jeanne's card.

May Every Part of Your Day Have Happy In It

Hello :)

Well Calgary is cleaning up from the flood of 2013 and as a family that had no destruction we want to be able to help those that have. So today we'll gather supplies that are needed and drop them off at one of the relief centers.
School has been cancelled again today and could be for the rest of the week(remainder of school year).
Thank you to everyone that sent me a message/email asking if we are okay :)

Yesterday morning while I had a little time I sat down in my craft room to play along with the Featured Stamper #333 Tina. I chose to case her card here.
I still had the MFT Sunflower dies on my desk from the other day and when I saw Tina's card I thought it would be perfect to case. Sentiment is from MFT too....sorry I can't recall the sentiment set name.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Thank You FS329

Happy Hump Day!
Is it just me or has this felt like the LONGEST week ever?!
I sure hope things settle down at work soon. Summer is here and I love being able to get out in the evenings. Whether it's to relax on the deck, take a walk or go for a bike ride around the pond with Chloe.
Lately, I've had no energy when I get home. Bummer.

Sunday was an awesome Featured Stamper day!
Vicki was chosen and she has an amazing gallery and blog!
Love her clean style.
I picked a couple of cards to CASE.
This was one of them and you can see her original one here.
Changed the shades of blue, different stamps and dies as well as different pattern paper.

Happy Birthday - FS327

Good Friday Morning!

Happy Long Weekend to those that are able to enjoy it!
Our weather here is going to be crappy :(
Rain which we NEED but that means no real outdoor time.
I shouldn't complain because it COULD be snow, right? ha!

Last Sunday I played along with the Featured Stamper #327 on SCS and cased Silke's card here.
I stamped the background script and flowers in Wisteria Wonder. Wow I can't recall the last time I opened that ink pad. The stems and sentiment were stamped in Lucky Limeade. A little bit of Stickles were added to the poppy for pizzazz ;)
Thanks for stopping by today!

Get Well Soon - CAS

Sunday afternoon when I was finally able to sit down in my craft room I had a chance to play along with the Featured Stamper on SCS. This is another challenge I love to participate in each week. A few years back when I was lucky enough to be chosen as the Featured Stamper, I remember how excited I was to see so many of my cards being cased. Ever since that day, I've tried to play along weekly.
This week the lucky lady was Robin and the card that helped inspire my card can be found HERE.
I've used some Taylored Expressions stamps and dies to create this CAS card.

Happy Birthday To A Wonderful Friend

Hooray for Wednesday!
Half way through....gotta love a short work week!

On Sunday morning I had time to case a second card of Lesley's.
Her card here is where my inspiration started from.
I pulled out my new MFT Pretty Poppies stamp set again.
The script background was stamped in MFT Kraft ink and then stamped with MFT Black Licorice and SU Cherry Cobbler.

Live Well, Love Much, Laugh Often

Good Monday Morning!

Lucky for me, I still have today off work :)
Not sure exactly sure what's on the agenda but I'm pretty sure positive crafty time will sneak it's way in there...ha!

Yesterday morning I was able to sit down and do a little stamping before my friend Karen came over for Easter.
Lesley was the Featured Stamper on SCS and I chose to case her card here.
I used the Taylored Expressions Cutting Plate again. LOVE that thing!

Thank You

Happy Friday!

So are you ready for Easter this weekend?
We are NOT....lol

The past few years have been crazy when it comes to any holiday.
Working in the retail world does not leave me a lot of time to prepare.
I only made my first Easter goodie on Wednesday night...ha!

Not much crafty time this week :(

On Sunday I played along with the Featured Stamper Challenge on SCS.

Thanks a Bunch

Hooray for Friday!

Anyone else excited it's the weekend? LOL!
Since it's been a crazy week around our house with the furnace sort of putting us out of commission for a couple of days(on Brian's birthday) we are going to celebrate this weekend.
Looking forward to going for dinner and having cake! ha!

Here was a quick card I created last Sunday using the Dynamic Duo Colour Challenge #42 of Garden Green and Daffodil Delight. I also combined it with the Featured Stamper # 317. I cased Sue's card here.
I've used some Verve dies and stamps.

Have A Sunny Day

Hello!
Well I'm scared to look outside this morning!
We were to get a dump of snow over night and into early this morning.
Hoping it isn't too bad and the roads will allow me an easy commute to work.

This card below was created for the Featured Stamper on Sunday.
I chose to case Kecia's card here.
Theme, colour and stamps were changed.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Everything Will Be Okay...

Sunday morning before I started to feel crummy I played along with the Featured Stamper challenge on SCS.
I chose to CASE this card HERE of Janice's.
This is a SU! only card.
I turned my layout and left of the embossing as I don't own any SU! embossing folders...yet.
Tree image is from Thoughts & Prayers.
Sentiment is from Pursuit of Happiness.
