Season of Friendship C4C78

If you are looking for my Sweet Stop Card please scroll down....

I was up super duper early today. Yesterday I came home with a migraine and was down and out most of the day sleeping off and on. I knew that would mean I wouldn't sleep much at night...lol
So this morning Snickers had me up before the sun was up.
While the house sleeps...I stamp! Perfect right?
The girls on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog are asking us to make something with a tree.
Of course I have a couple of favourite tree stamps from SU! but Silke has used the other and I didn't want to copy....hehe!
I pulled out Season of Friendship for my card.
I know what you're thinking....this is a fall card. BUT I really wanted to use the MME designer paper...lol
See my boo boo? Last leaves I stamped I didn't press hard enough and the one ruby red didn't stamp well :(
This layout comes from the latest Viva La Verve March Sketch #3.
I'm off to do a little work this morning and then some shopping at the Coach store with Karen! Fun times!
Hope you enjoy your weekend!!

Just a little something...

My SU! order finally arrived...I've never waited so long before! First thing I did was grab a piece of scrap and use this top note die cut. I had no idea what I was going to do with it until I saw Beate's card HERE that she did for her tutorial. I loved the layout so I CASED that from her. Thanks Beate!
Stamps: Stem Silhouettes; Best Yet; Cardstock: Tangerine, Choc Chip, WW and Bella Rose DP; Inks: Tangerine and Choc Chip; Accessories: Top Note Die Cut, Oval Nesties, Designer Label Punch, Sponges, Silver HPH
Julee's Mojo56 sketch.

Stamps: Eastern Blooms; Cardstock: Tangerine, Kiwi, WW and Hawaiian Papaya DP; Inks: Kiwi, Tangerine; Accessories: Circle Nesties, Mat Pack and Paper Piercer, Dimensionals

I'm so excited...tonight I'm meeting up with Renee and we are going to the Jubilations Dinner Theatre! There is a SU! regional meeting Saturday so we are going to have some fun first!

Happy Wednesday

Good Wednesday Morning!
I've got a lot to show you today but very little time to chat...
First of all this is my card for the Colour Challenge on SCS yesterday. It was suggested by my fellow Dirty Girl Cindy! Aren't these colours gorgeous?!
Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss and Very Vanilla along with some Hawaiian Papaya DP
Stamps: Pocket Silhouettes; Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Very Vanilla and Hawaiian DP; Inks: Kiwi Kiss; Accessories: SU! scalloped edge punch, small and large oval punches, Kiwi Ribbon, Mat pack and Paper Piercer, Baja Buttons, Linen Thread and Dimensionals
It's time for another All That Scraps Challenge too!! This week Jen challenged us to make a pop-up card. There are a few types to choose from but I chose THIS Spiral Pop-up Card on SCS by Corinne. I decided on Olivia's Birdies for this card. She's so sweet!
If you play along and upload to SCS please use keyword ATSDTC19.

Here is the inside. I left some blank space to be able to add a bit of writing.

How about another challenge?

SUInk has a wonderful sketch out this week and you can check out all the details on the SUInk blog. I've used some Core'dinations Cardstock along with the Bump in the Night stamp set. If you upload to SCS please use keyword SUINKWWC7

Thanks for stopping by today!

A couple of challenges...come play!

Good Wednesday Morning
I think I'm coming down with my first cold of the season....wonderful...ugh! Today is going to be super busy as it's our Family BBQ tonight at the school and there is quite a bit of prepartion still to do. Oh heck...everything still...haha!
This week Jen challenged the All That Scraps Design Team to a colour challenge. We hope that you will play along and if you upload to SCS to put ATSDTC18 in the keywords so we can see :)
My card uses a few different stamp sets. Sugarplums Olivia, cupcake from It's My Birthday and the sentiment is from Boutique Sentiments. All are available at ATS.
Denise challenged the Design Team from SUInk to use a minimum of FIVE stamps on a card...they could be from different sets as well. If you play along and upload to SCS please use keyword SUINKWWC6 and we can check 'em out!
I'm in a Fall mood these days, even if we are having unusually warm weather here. I had shorts on yesterday and it's due to be hot again today! Good BBQ weather ;)
My card uses exactly five stamps....I know....cutting it close eh?!
I used images from the Leaf It To Me set.

Thanks for stopping by today!

My SU! order is due to arrive soon....I can't wait! I ordered a bundle of new DP!!!

Go Green

Good Monday Morning!
I've got a SUPER busy week ahead and I'm not too sure how much stamping I'm going to get in....which is a total bummer!
It's a tree day on my blog...lol
I didn't realize it until I'd started to upload some cards for the post.
This first one was for yesterday's Featured Stamper on SCS. It was Liz aka Lazy Lizard. This is the card I chose to CASE of hers HERE
Stamps: A Tree for all Season and All in a Row; Cardstock: Tangerine, Olive, WC paper and Haiku DP; Inks: Timber Brown Stazon, Olive, Pumpkin, Choc chip, Ruby Red; Accessories: Aqua Painter, HPH, Olive Poly Twill
Julia from Little Paper Shop challenged the girls to use a clear element on our cards. I have had these clear SU! buttons forever and never seem to pull them out until I'm challenged to...hmmmm wonder why that is? LOL! I really like using them.
I think you will be able to see the other girls cards on the Little Paper Shop Blog today.

Stamps: Peach; Cardstock: Tangerine, Old Olive, WW and Scenic Route DP; Inks: Black, Pumpkin, Saffron, Choc Chip, Olive; Accessories: SU! button, Linen Thread, Mat Pack and Paper Piercer, Tangerine Ribbon

Do you know what today is? Yep...it's the 15th! That means that the new Dirty Dozen Gallery opens and you can see all the wonderful creations. Plus you get to meet the two new girls joining the Dirt Pile! I can't believe I'm half way through my DD time...wow...it's flying!

FAVE new Colour Combo!

Happy Thursday!
I'm so excited! I placed another SU! order yesterday and it should be here by the end of next week...yah! I ordered TONS of new DP...and a few stamps and ribbons and embellishments...lol
Both cards below use the same basic supplies...
Pacific Point, Old Olive, White and Haiku DP
I'm in love with this colour combo!
This first card was made for the Sketch Challenge on SCS yesterday. I was super duper excited to find some primas that match Pacific Point perfectly.
Stamps: Live Your Dream; Cardstock: Pacific Point, Old Olive, White, Haiku DP; Inks: Pacific Point, Old Olive; Accessories: Scalloped edge punch, Primas, Ice Rhinestone Brad, Olive Poly Twill, Dimensionals
This was the THIRD week in a row that I was able to play along in Beate's Be Inspired Challenge. Since becoming a Dirty Girl I have enjoyed these challenges more....it's part of our monthly challenge. Doing Beate's BIC helps me grow as a stamper and I thank her for that!
I pulled out the old Stem Silhouettes. This is a set I don't think I'll ever part with.

Stamps: Stem Silhouettes; Cardstock: Pacific Point, Old Olive, White and Haiku DP; Inks: Old Olive; Accessories: Sponges, Large Oval Punch, Dimensionals, Pacific Point Ribbon

Out of this world Inspiring!

Good Friday Morning!

Yesterday I spent a great deal of my day working on my Dirty Dozen cards but did manage to squeeze in a little time to play along with Beate's Inspiration this week. Have you played before? If not, you really should. I have never been good at these challenges but Beate is always so encouraging!

Stamps: Sassy Stems; Cardstock: Always Artichoke, So Saffron, Very Vanilla and Kraft; Inks: Stazon, Artichoke, Saffron, Rust, Sahara, Bashful Blue; Accessories: CB embossing folder, Vintage Brads, Aqua Painter, Artichoke Ribbon, Dimensionals

With Halloween being right around the corner Storage Unit, Inks & More has come out with a couple Halloween sets. This one is called Out of This World. I've used some of the ultra cool Core'dinations cardstock again. Love the texture!

I have another sneak peek for you....this time it's from AmyR! She has come out with her own stamps through CC Designs and All That Scraps. Her first sets are called Amy's Boutique and Boutique Sentiments. I loved the sentiment on this card....If the shoe fits buy one in every color. These sets and all new new CC Design Sets will be available on Sept 9th. Stay tuned for more sneak peeks over the next few days ;)

Thanks for stopping by today! Stop back tomorrow...I have a ton of great things to share!

Best Friend

Good Morning!
I had intended on showing you all some sneak peeks from CC Designs this week but Christine has moved All That Scraps to a new bigger location so we've moved the release back a bit. I can't wait to show you the new stuff soon!
Yesterday I had time for just a couple of cards so I combined the Ways To Use It Challenge and Julee's Mojo 48 sketch.
The WT challenge was about scraps. Who doesn't have those??? I decided to use up some of my Summer Picnic DP since I heard a rumor that it's in the new catty...yah!!
Here is an ALL SU! card for those of you missing SU!
Stamps: Tart & Tangy; Cardstock: Real Red, Old Olive, WW and Summer Picnic DP; Inks: Real Red, Old Olive, Black; Accessories: SU! Scallop Punch, SU! Scallop Edge Punch, 1 1/4, 1 3/8" circle punches, 5/8" old olive ribbon, Dimensionals, Paper piercer and white gel pen

Dreams

Good Thursday Morning!
Ok so I'm not at Convention as you probably guessed but I am excited today!
Wii Fit says I'm "normal" hahaha! I LOVE that thing now!!
Here is a SU! card that I made with the SCS Sketch yesterday. I wanted a nice clean and simple card. I added a little bit of yellow stickles to the flower centers for an added punch.
Stamps: Dreams de Jour; Cardstock: Wild Wasabi, WW and Wasabi Prints Paper; Inks: Wasabi, Regal Rose, Stazon; Accessories: Paper Snips, Wasabi Ribbon, Dimensionals
Verve has a Project Parade going on the past couple of weeks and I'd wanted to play along but didn't have much time until yesterday. It was the first time I've ever made an ATC(artist trading card). I stamped the sentiment from Verve's Floral Whimsy in Tangerine and punched out a couple butterflies. One in Tangerine and one in Vellum CS. I think it's pretty straight forward ;)
Stamps: Verve Floral Whimsy; Cardstock: Tangerine, WW, Vellum and Chatterbox DP; Inks: Tangerine; Accessories: Oval Nesties, May Arts Ribbon, Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch, Ribbon Slide, Dimensionals and Pearls
Here I've added the ATC to a cardbase.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Good Monday Morning!

Good Monday Morning!
Hope you all had a nice weekend! Ours was just okay....weather was good and bad....
I had a chance Sunday to sit down and work on a bunch of cards...very productive day!!
I'll share a few with you this morning :)
This first one is one I started for the Featured Stamper on SCS but then decided to combine it with a couple other challenges out there! Featured Stamper 75, Sharon's Thank You Challenge and the Verve Diva Colour Challenge.
I CASED this card of Stehpanie's.
Have you been to the Storage Units, Ink & More website lately? You should pop on over there and see the fabulous stamp sets, Core'dinations paper, Ink, Copic Markers....
I made both of these cards....just because...don't you love when you don't have a reason to make things?~!
This first card was made using the Put Me In, Coach! I've also used Core'dinations paper in Forest and French Roast.

I used the Boys'n'Bugs set for this little cutie! Really Rust and Core'dinations French Roast go really nicely with the American Crafts DP. Since the DP looked distressed, I decided to distress the other layers as well! Thanks for stopping by today!
I have a lot to share this week! Little Paper Shop will begin it's Sneak Peek previews and I'm lucky enough to be a Guest Designer for July!

Giggle Grove

Good Sunday Morning!
Wow! I'd like to thank all of you who have been playing along with us at the OCC! The response to our first two challenges have been fantastic! I'm enjoying seeing all your creations. Be sure to be linking us so I don't miss ya ;) If you upload to SCS please add the key words OCCC.
Yesterday after the girls left the SAS I couldn't wait to ink up my Unity stamps that arrived just before the girls...lol
These stamps are awesome! They stamp wonderfully and the red rubber cleans up so nicely. I think I'm going to get a LOT of use out of these stamps!
Both of these cards were made for our OCC challenge of Buttons and Brads but this first one also uses Lauren's sketch on her blog. Not sure how visible it is but the bird was stamped three times and cut out. First the whole birds body and then the wing. Then it was popped up on dimensionals.
Stamps: Giggle Grove, Fluttering By; Cardstock: PTI White, Old Olive, Scenic Route DP; Inks: Adirondack Espresso, Old Olive; Accessories: Copic Markers, White Brads, Misc Buttons, Old Olive Poly Twill, Circle Punches, Dimensionals
I figured since I had some pieces of paper out I'd make another card. Why add to my scrap pile right? This one is super simple ;) But it still uses Buttons and Brads!
Stamps: Giggle Grove, Gratitude=Joy; Cardstock: Old Olive, PTI white, Scenic Route DP; Inks: Old Olive; Accessories: White Brads, Misc Buttons, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today!
Don't forget to get another SNEAK PEEK at the Storage Unit, Inks and More stamps today. You can see the next one with Susan! If you haven't entered to win the "Motherload" do that too but click their banner! Good luck!

A great mix today...

Good Thursday Afternoon!
It's STILL raining here....now I'm getting bummed....this weather makes me so sleepy.
Before heading off to the school this morning to mark math and spelling tests I had a chance to work on the SCS Ways To Use it Challenge.
Masculine cards was the theme. Hope I pulled it off okay with this one ;)
Stamps: A Light Unto My Path and Sanded Background; Cardstock: Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, Choc Chip and Vellum CS; Inks: Choc Chip; Accessories: Copper Brads and Dimensionals
Verve Visual has a May Project Parade going on. I LOVED the colours and you can see them in the photo below. I used the Fancy Florals Remixed but couldn't figure out what sentiment to add or where, so it'll be on the inside ;)
Stamps: Fancy Florals Remixed; Cardstock: PTI white, So Saffron, Old Olive, Cool Caribbean, Regal Rose, Cool Caribbean; Inks: same; Accessories: 5/8" Old Olive Ribbon, Dimensionals
Here is the colour chart in case you want to play along.
A couple of months ago I wanted to create a book for me to keep all the sketches I find on blogs, challenges or magazines in one spot. Well this is what I did....and then it got shoved in a pile and I'd forgotten all about it until today!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Featured Stamper and a Challenge Card

Happy Sunday!
The day started off kind of gloomy and changed to rain but I can see blue sky peaking its way through the clouds now. Brian has been craving donairs for a couple of days so we are heading out in a few minutes to get one for lunch...lol
Christine from All That Scraps challenged the Design Team to make a Pink and Brown card, with a little white for the stamped imaged ;)
I decided to use the monkey from It's My Birthday. I've been practicing colouring with my Copics and think I did a pretty good job with the shadow on the balloon.
Stamps: It's My Birthday by CC Designs; Cardstock: Choc Chip, Pretty in Pink, WW and Pretty in Pink prints paper; Inks: Adirondack Espresso, Pretty in Pink; Accessories: Copic Markers, Clear Stardust Pen, Choc and Pretty in Pink Grosgrain, Dimensionals
Sundays are a fun day on SCS. It's Featured Stamper day and it's always a blast to cruise through someones gallery and find a card or two to CASE. This week it's Dawn aka Dawnsing on SCS. The card I chose to CASE is HERE.
Dawn has a fabulous gallery and I like her clean style. I'll definitely be CASING a few others very soon!

Stamps: Full of Life; Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, WW and Summer Picnic DP; Inks: Pumpkin, Olive, Rose Red; Accessories: Heidi Swapp Ghost Flower, Flower Fusions, Crystal Brad, Pumpkin Striped Ribbon, Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by today!

Inspirational Sketches

Happy Wednesday!
Today I combined the Sketch Challenge on SCS with Beate's Inspiration Challenge for this card. I really like Choc Chip and Soft Sky together. I should have stamped the the image in Choc Chip Craft and embossed in Clear....but I didn't....lol...so I decided to add some Dazzling Diamonds to spruce it up a bit.
Stamps: Essense of Love; Cardstock: Choc Chip, Soft Sky, Afternoon DP; Inks: Choc Chip; Accessories: Silver HPH, Photo corner punch, paper piercer, 3 for you punch, choc satin ribbon, 2 way glue and Dazzling Diamonds, Designer Label punch
I needed a kids birthday card. Doesn't this card scream fun?! I love this image. It's from CC Designs and you can get it at All That Scraps. The DP is from WeRMemoryKeepers and it's the White Out Collection.

Stamps: It's Your Birthday; Cardstock: Real Red, Yo Yo Yellow, WW and White Out DP; Inks: Adirondack Black; Accessories: Copic Markers, Mat Pack and Paper Piercer
This card is from Lauren's sketch that she posted last Saturday. I'm playing catch up ;)

Stamps: So Many Sayings, Verve Visual Thankful Blossoms; Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Certainly Celery, Wild Wasabi, WW and White Out Collection DP; Inks: Adirondack Black; Accessories; Copics Markers, Clear Stardust Pen, Circle Nesties and Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by!
