Paper Smooches - Happy Barkday

I couldn't resist the cute stamps by Kim Hughes and had to order some from Paper Smooches a couple of weeks ago.
This set is called Birthday Buddies.
I stamped the adorable puppy on Vintage Cream PTI and coloured with Copics.
I added some white gel pen to the hat and gelly roll glaze pen to the eye.
Pretty simple card.

Happy Stamp Club Day!
This week there is a fabulous sketch posted in the MFT forum on SCS. I liked it so much I made TWO samples!

Mom - Mojo 183

Happy Tuesday!
How is your week going so far? Mine is off to a slow start....only four more work days until the weekend....lol
Last night after dinner I headed downstairs with Snickers to go stamping.
She gets so excited to go down there with me. That's where her "chewy" is. Well about 5 of them. She carries a rawhide down with her all the time but never brings them back up....haha!
Anyway, while I was down there, I created this card using Because of You from Verve.
The layout comes from the Mojo183 sketch. Great sketch, eh?
Stamps: Because of You; Cardstock: Choc chip, Kraft, MME Stella & Rose dp; Inks: Choc chip; Accessories: Sewing, Ribbon, Circle Nesties, Pearls, MFT edge die, Dimensionals

Everything we did get melted on Sunday afternoon while the sun was out.
It really did feel like SPRING!
I still had a few butterflies on my table from my last card so you can imagine how excited I was when I found this card here for the Featured Stamper Challenge on SCS. The card was perfect to case using my stash!
Another simple and quick CAS card.

Spread Your Wings And Fly

Happy Sunday and happy race day!
We are still under a heavy snowfall warning for today...I'm sure it's coming....

My card today was inspired by two people.
Last November I saw this card here by Mary Fish and had book marked it wanting to case the great layout. It wasn't until I saw Carole's project that I knew what I wanted to do.

I used the MFT Butterfly Die-namics and some October Afternoon DP. I coloured some white candy dots with my copics and added some Poppy Red Satin Ribbon to finish it off.
Thank you ladies for your inspiration!!!
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a GREAT day!

Today I am sharing a card I made using this week's Sweet Stop Sketch #100!
A little bird told me there might be something sweet up for grabs if you play along with the sketch.
The sketch this week has a twist....something sweet!
I chose to use the cute PI - Make Mine a Double.
Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your weekend! Hopefully you are having some nice weather!

In a few short weeks we are having a retirement party for a co-worker and I was asked to make some place settings for each table. Just one for the guest of honour so he has his seat at each table to socialize with everyone.

Too bad I spent most of it indoors doing work :(
I did take a break long enough to make a card for the Featured Stamper on SCS.
Bridget had a wonderful card here that I chose to case.
I stamped the floral image from Dream Big and popped the flower up on dimensionals.
I'm loving all the white space on this card....something I don't normally do.

Season of Friendship C4C78

If you are looking for my Sweet Stop Card please scroll down....

I was up super duper early today. Yesterday I came home with a migraine and was down and out most of the day sleeping off and on. I knew that would mean I wouldn't sleep much at night...lol
So this morning Snickers had me up before the sun was up.
While the house sleeps...I stamp! Perfect right?
The girls on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog are asking us to make something with a tree.
Of course I have a couple of favourite tree stamps from SU! but Silke has used the other and I didn't want to copy....hehe!
I pulled out Season of Friendship for my card.
I know what you're thinking....this is a fall card. BUT I really wanted to use the MME designer paper...lol
See my boo boo? Last leaves I stamped I didn't press hard enough and the one ruby red didn't stamp well :(
This layout comes from the latest Viva La Verve March Sketch #3.
I'm off to do a little work this morning and then some shopping at the Coach store with Karen! Fun times!
Hope you enjoy your weekend!!

Well I've finally moved on from all the soft pretty pastel colours that I've been using lately....but don't worry....they'll be back! LOL!
A couple of weeks ago I picked up the new MME Stella and Rose papers. This one is called Mabel. It's so rich and warm, don't you think?

Last night after dinner I had some free time to stamp and realized there was a new Mojo sketch posted.
I really wanted to use this new American Crafts ribbon that I have had for a little while now. Digging around in my SU! drawer I found this retired Sarah DSP.

Today like every Sunday I stamp all my projects for the week ahead. I do like to TRY and stamp daily but some days I get home and just want to veg on the couch....lol
After finishing a couple of cards I decided to look at Jen's SFYTT that she posted for March.
It was a good one for using up scraps of designer paper.
Here I used the MFT set called Let's Get Physical.
