I'm Bringing Sexy Back

Today like every Sunday I stamp all my projects for the week ahead. I do like to TRY and stamp daily but some days I get home and just want to veg on the couch....lol
After finishing a couple of cards I decided to look at Jen's SFYTT that she posted for March.
It was a good one for using up scraps of designer paper.
Here I used the MFT set called Let's Get Physical.
Do you like these funky pants? I do! I'd wear them too :)
Stamps: Let's Get Physical; Cardstock: White, Aqua Mist, So Saffron, MME True Blue DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Rhinestones, Dimensionals

Simply the Best Mojo83

Good Morning!
I've spent a lot of time the past two days working on some upcoming DT work for May releases. Can you believe May is just around the corner...wow...feels like it was just Christmas...lol
Anyway, you'll see all those cards very soon!
I did want to have something to show you for today and I do love to play along with Julee's Mojo Monday sketches! This is what I created for the Mojo 83 sketch. This card measures 5 x 5.
Stamps: Floral Symphony, Feeling Groovy; Cardstock: PTI Aqau Mist, Kiwi Kiss, PTI Vintage Cream and October Afternoon DP; Inks: Kiwi Kiss, Cool Caribbean, Black; Accessories: Martha butterfly punch, dew drops, kiwi satin ribbon, vanilla hph, scalloped edge punch

It's all about men today!

Good Sunday Afternoon!
Sorry no early morning post today but I spent a great deal of yesterday with a headache so I just took it easy. I'm feeling GREAT today though!
It's a busy sports day here at the Easton house....
Oiler's are currently playing(and winning) and the Nascar race will be starting soon too! Go Gordon!
I was looking over Jen's sketch for this weekend and thought about making some holiday cards for some single men we know. I hope this one will do...even with that bow?!
Other than the ghost snowflake both of my cards are SU! only cards.
Stamps: Loads of Love; Cardstock: Bashful Blue, NQN, Olive, Watercolour paper and Maine Blueberry DP; Inks: Black Stazon, Bashful blue, Olive, NQN, Going Gray, Summer sun, Close to cocoa; Accessories: Aqua painter, Olive ribbon, Ghost snowflake, Dimensionals
I figured since I had out the masculine papers, I'd make a pick me up card for a male too! I have a ton of those Thinking Of You cards, but ALL are for women....
I kept this fairly simple since it was for a man....no bling ;)
This was made using Taylor's sketch #40. Instead of having the sentiment on the lower right hand corner I put it up top and made it a square rather than a circle.
Stamps: Loads of Love; Cardstock: Not Quite Navy, Old Olive, WW, Watercolour paper and Maine Blueberry DP; Inks: Black Stazon, NQN, Olive, Bashful blue, Going gray, Summer Sun, Celery; Accessories: Aqua painter, Mat pack and paper piercer, dimensionals, olive ribbon

Happy Tuesday!

Well yesterday Chloe came home from school early....not feeling so well. She was MAD as heck too...she didn't want to come home....they had French class in the afternoon and she was going to miss it....totally bummed her out! Hoping when she wakes up feeling much better this morning.
Julee had her Mojo sketch posted yesterday and I really wanted to use some new stamps I received from Crafty Secrets last week. In the first card I flipped the sketch for my image panel.

Stamps: Seaside; Cardstock: Old Olive, Bashful Blue, So Saffron, Rose Red, WC paper and Jr Varsity DP; Inks: Black Stazon, Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Rose Red, So Saffron, Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa; Accessories: Aqua Painter, Circle Nesties, Dimensionals
Here is another card I made using Julee's Mojo sketch. This one is for a girlfriend...I know she'll get a kick out of the sentiment!

Check out this awesome blue and yellow RAK I received from Carole Burrage...a fellow Dirty Girl! Many months ago....I mentioned to Carole how much I LOVED this card...it's really perfect...stamps, layout, colours....well anyway....she was kind enough to send it to me! She even used some of my fave Designer Paper from Imaginisce!!

A couple of weeks ago I joined the SCS Wish RAK club. I have so many images that I hope I can send/exchange with others! Kitty Anderson aka OregonStamper sent me this wonderful Welcome RAK. Love the layout of her card! The front flap opens and that is where she wrote a message to me....so cute!

This next RAK comes from Julia Betemps from Little Paper Shop. Love the copper coloured jewels that she added to this card...they are so pretty! Thanks Julia...brought a smile to my face!
It was such a pleasure to work with Julia and the other girls at the Little Paper Shop. I'm going to miss playing along but I'll keep up with their blogs!

Just Peachy...

Good Sunday Morning!
It's Georgia Peach DP day! LOL! All three cards use it ;)
I started out working on the Inspiration Challenge(card at the bottom) and then figured I'd just keep working with the Georgia Peach dp. It's such an awesome designer paper.
My first card uses Jen's sketch. I recently received the new MFT stamps and really wanted to use one of them! I altered the sketch a little to fit my image. Don't you think this DP works well with this snowmen stamp?? Cute eh?!
Stamps: A Scarf for Three; Cardstock: Old Olive, So Saffron, Regal Rose, Shimmery White and Georgia Peach DP; Inks: Adirondack Black; Accessories: Copics, Circle Punches, Heidi Swapp Snowflakes, Dimensionals
Have you been to Taylor's Blog lately? She released some new stamps the other day. I ordered them and can't wait to get them but in the meantime I wanted to play with her sketch. I used some of my favourite cupcake stamps by Inkadinkado.
Stamps: Inkadinkado Birthday Cupcakes; Cardstock: Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, So Saffron, Old Olive, Shimmery White and Georgia Peach DP; Inks: Adirondack Black; Accessories: Copics, Circle Punches, Misc Buttons, Linen Thread, White Brads, Dimensionals
Saturday's there is an Inspiration Challenge on SCS. Normally I shy away from these ones but figured why not give it a go~! THIS is the piece I chose to use. I WOULD have used my Flight of the Butterfly IF I had found it but it's still missing :(
Stamps: Garden Whimsy; Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, So Saffron, Regal Rose, Shimmery White and Georgia Peach DP; Inks: Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose; Accessories: SU! scalloped edge punch, Mat pack and paper piercer, 5/8" Regal rose ribbon, Dimensionals

Featured Stamper, Sketch Card and little buckets

Happy Sunday!
It's almost time for the green flag to fly at Dover and I'm sitting in front of our big screen tv watching for Denise aka Peanutbee to wave at me....lol....Hi Denise! Hope you enjoy the race today!
This morning while waiting for a load of laundry I worked on a the Featured Stamper on SCS. Lucky for me it was Maren! I actually have a couple of cards in my fave's that I wanted to CASE of hers. I chose to case THIS one.
I wanted to give Jen's sketch another go from her blog i{heart}2stamp. This time I went the more masculine route. I really like how this clean and simple card came out.
I'd picked up a couple Webkinz for my friend Michelle's children. I wanted something fun to pack them in to ship and last fall I'd found some cute little buckets with some Halloween goodies in them. When they went on clearance I went back and bought a bunch! Took the goodies out and soaked them in the sink to get the wrapper off and viola....they were ready to decorate!
For the little girl I used the CC Designs stamps It's My Birthday.

Unfortunately, I don't have a lizard stamp so I went with a dino from the MFT set Dino-Mite...lol Do you think he'll say something? Kids are pretty darn smart you know ;)
Thanks for stopping by today!

I've got to run....sorry for no details...if you need to know something....shoot me an email!

Sketch Challenges

Thank goodness it is the weekend and I don't HAVE to go outside if I don't want to! It's been so chilly here and it looks like that weather is going to continue for a bit longer....
Chloe has gone off with the neighbour to see that new movie Enchanted...hope she has a blast!
I had some time while the laundry was going to work on a couple of sketch challenges. This first one is from Lauren's sketch. Be sure to check it out! I used the retired set called Yule Bits and Borders.
Jen from i{heart}2stamp had a great sketch on her blog today too! I so enjoy doing these girls Saturday sketches. Sometimes there aren't enough hours in the day to do them on Saturdays but today I was lucky ;)
Not sure about any of you but I always have issues with Real Red and drying....you can see in BOTH cards that I smeared it! UGH!
I am going to miss this set Flaky Friends. I LOVE these guys!
Hope everyone has a safe and happy weekend!
