Thank goodness!

Our weather has been crazy this week with snow each night but then melts each day....makes for a messy drive...ugh yuck.

I made this card last Sunday using Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #109.

I pulled out one of my old CC Designs stamps from All That Scraps.

This one is Swiss Pixie Heidi. Isn't she adorable?! She's also available in digi.

Good Morning!
I had a GREAT day of stamping yesterday! I worked on many sneak peeks that I'll be showing you this week BUT I wanted to have some things to show you today....so here ya go!
My first one is of Miss Anya and uses Cindy's Farm Fresh Friday sketch from their blog here.

My next two cards use Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #37 from her blog here.
This first one uses an image from The Places You'll Go from Taylored Expressions. I stamped the image with Memento black onto kraft cardstock then coloured with Prisma pencils and Gamsol.

I'm trying to get ahead of the game this year and make at least two cards each week for Christmas. At least until I get in the swing of holiday card making...lol I pulled out my FAVE Penny Black snowman!! He's so cute!

My last card was for Jen's SFYTT on her blog here. Isn't Sugarplum Clown Trevor darling?! He is from All That Scraps.

To My Beautiful Friend

Good Morning!
Last night my girlfriend, Karen, and I sat downstairs and stamped! It's always fun to stamp with a friend!!
I used Mercy's sketch #33 as a starting point. I ended up moving the embellishment to the bottom corner.
I stamped the cute Junebug image from All That Scraps in Memento black ink and coloured with Copic markers. Then I pulled out the Opal Liquid Pearls and used them to accent her hair, wings and dress.

Before getting ready for my workshop yesterday I HAD to play along with the SCS Limited Supply Challenge. I took advantage and made another SU! only card to take with me to my workshop. I figured it'd be nice to have a few other samples to show off :)

Since I'd just received my H & M Stamps I really wanted to use them! When Heather showed me this cute set called Angelic Moments I couldn't wait to get it inky!! I think it worked pretty good for this CC....which I was nervous about seeing the Pink Passion...yikes!

For my embossing I used the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder on the Bashful Blue panel on the bottom of the card. Also the Nesties are all embossed.

ATS Sketch Challenge, CC Card and a RAK!

Happy Wednesday Gang!

I'm so glad that yesterday is over. It was one of those days. I had so much to do but nothing got done because Brian needed to go to the denist. He was having severe pain in his wisdom tooth all weekend. I called but couldn't get into our dentist til Thursday. Luckily I found another place that would take him. They turned out to be SUPER nice and very good! He ended up having the wisdom tooth pulled but not after having to cut his gums....ewwwwwwwww. I am NOT good with blood. They bagged his tooth so he could bring it home to show Chloe. She's into that yucky stuff and we knew she'd want to look at it under her microscope....haha!

Ok....so you didn't come to hear my babbling did ya? ;)

I really wanted to use something that hadn't been inked up in a long time.

The Go Prehistoric jumped out at me. It also gave me a chance to use some Basic Grey DP!

Valentine Treat Tote

Good Evening!

Since I was just sitting here for the last couple of hours watching the Superbowl I figured I may as well do something constructive!

I saw this super cool Valentine Treat Tote on Andrea's Blog and wanted to give it a go. I stocked up on all those Martha Test Tubes last fall and I thought with a few alterations to height and width I could do it! I used some Amercian Crafts DP and the cute CC Designs set called Gingersnaps Hey Cupid!

Inside view....like the empty tubes? haha....we have no candy in the house!

ETA: It has been asked a few times if I could share my dimensions using these test tubes.

OK....for the front and back flaps ...they are 4.25 x 10.5

I then scored them at 1", 8.5" and 9"

The inside panel measures 3 x 7.75

I then scored it at 1" and 2" from each end.

That sort of slants inward because of the round tubes.

It's a PINK day!

Good Morning!

Wow this week is flying by! Last night I had some girlfriends over for an Epicure Party {waving hi to Liane, Bonnie, Kelly, Brenda, Sandy, Laura, Lisa and Lisa}

Yesterday's SCS colour challenge was a Regal rose, Bravo burgundy and Kiwi kiss. I wasn't sure HOW to get Kiwi in there so I went ultra simple....a scalloped circle! The stamp set Comfy Valentine from H & M stamps was sitting on my table and instead of putting it away, I decided to use it! I also used a new Martha border punch that Brian bought me. I had forgotten about it...oops! It's cute but sure does make a mess with all the little circle pieces falling out. I could only use whisper white too...any other cardstock was too thick and wouldn't punch...anyone else have that problem?

It's Wednesday! Time for another ATS design team challenge. I can't remember the last time I did faux stitching! I like to poke a lot of holes in my cardstock or doodle with my white gel pen but I can't recall using them together in a very long time...lol

Just yesterday I was chatting with Cindy Haffner on the phone and said I rarely use Pixie Pink or Pink Passion....well no more than an hour later, I was cutting into some Pixie Pink...haha!

I've used a cute set by Diane aka cookiestamper called Cupcake Occasions. There are sooooooo many toppers to use with this set! Life - Live Like You Mean It

Good Morning

Super quick post today as I'm typing this up before the Oiler hockey game.

This card was made for the CC201 on SCS yesterday.

Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze and Kraft.

This lined dp with the kite on it...it's in the Hand Drawn Bundle that will be in the new catty. I thought it would make a quick card and I was right...10 minutes! The only stamping is the sentiments.

Sweetness!

Good Morning!

Yesterday we enjoyed some balmy weather here in Edmonton....right around the freezing mark!

After doing a few errands yesterday I was able to start cleaning my stamp area up and organizing a bunch of things. After oh...about 20 minutes I was ready to just stamp...lol so I did!

I worked on a couple of sketch challenges. This first one uses Jen's SFYTT.

I don't often make cards without at least a small piece of designer paper but I just couldn't make it work on this card. I did get my colours from a piece of dp though. Some American Crafts... Romance Line. Isn't this Gingersnap image cute?! She's from CC Designs and the set is called Gingersnaps Hey Cupid!

Here is a card I made using Taylor's TECC50 sketch. I've stamped the Inkadinkado Birthday Cupcake images in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with my copic markers. I used some Circle Nesties to cut them out and dimensionals to pop them up. It's hard to tell in the picture but I added some Stardust Gelly Pen to the tops of each cupcake.

I have an extra Inkadinkado Birthday Cupcakes(thanks to my wonderful husband)that I'd like to offer up as a little blog candy.
