Gardener Apron MTME

Hey all!
Thanks for stopping by to see another My Time Made Easy project!
Today you can shop! Fun, eh?!
Lauren has a couple really CUTE cut files available this month and I'm going to share the Gardener's Apron with you.
This card was super easy to make and I could see it being made into a BBQ apron too! What fun sending out a BBQ invitation with this. So many possibilities :)
I stamped the floral image from Sensational Stems right onto my green prism paper and paper pierced around the edges. I added a little grass coming out of the pocket and popped it up. Viola...complete!
The My Time Made Easy team all have some wonderful projects to share with you today so please stop by to check them all out!
Have a GREAT day!

Tending the Garden MTME

Hello!
I've got more sneak peeks to share with you from My Time Made Easy!
Remember that everything will be available on July 1st.
My package unfortunately seems lost in the mail but luckily this Tending the Garden set will be available in digi as well!
That's what I used on my cards today ;)
I'm still a stamp fan but digital images work nicely, especially in a pinch.
Look at this cute bee image! I resized the bee and moved the sentiment to where I wanted it before printing it out on cardstock. Every bee needs a little trail, don't you think?
Stamps: Digital Tending the Garden; Cardstock: White, Prism, Echo Park DP; Accessories: copics, ribbon, scallops, cloud dies, ribbon, paper piercer, dimensionals, stickles
My second card uses the sweet watering can image. I chose the size I wanted for my watering can and then adjusted the label, flowers and sentiment to fit inside. Easy peasy! Notice I used a little more of that Lattice Sprinkle digi paper again. LOVE the colour!
Stamps: Digital Tending the Garden; Cardstock: White, Yellow, Echo Park DP; Accessories: Copics, nesties, Scallops, Cork, Primas, Dimensionals
Sharing some fabulous creations today will be Lauren, Lesa, Pam, Stephanie and Geny.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

My Time Made Easy Sneak Peeks

Well it's time for the My Time Made Easy sneak peeks to start! Are you ready for some fun stamps and fabulous templates!?!
Be sure to stop by Lauren, Katie, Tracey and Silke for some cool 3D projects.
Then don't forget to visit my fellow card girl, Geny, to see what she has whipped up today too!
My card started out using some new digi paper that will be released on July 1st along with everything else ;)
This paper is called Lattice Sprinkle. I just ♥ this colour!! It matches Baja Breeze ink from SU! so well :)
The stamp set I am sneakin' today is called Lovely Labels and it co-ordinates with the Labels 1 cut file that will be available soon too. The sentiment comes from an older set called Sensational Sentiments. So many wonderful sayings in this set! I love how the digi paper and Lovely Labels look together.
Stamps: Lovely Labels, Sensational Sentiments; Cardstock; White, Enchanted Evening, Lattice Sprinkles digi paper; Inks: Baja Breeze; Accessories: Labels 1 Cut File, Nesties, Ribbon, Rhinestones, Sponges, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by! Come back tomorrow for another sneak peek!
Have a GREAT day!

Moments That Made Us Laugh

First thing...I want to wish my super duper fabulous friend, Denise and her husband a very happy 12th Anniversary! Congrats girl!
I don't know why but I'm always drawn to use bright colours with the JustRite Sentiment stamps from Stampers Dream. Maybe it's because most people use muted colours? I love when I see romantic, rustic, shabby or elegant cards using the JR stamps but I don't do those very well. Not my style I guess :) I'll just admire those that can pull it off!
When I saw Debbie's card here for the Featured Stamper Challenge I knew I'd be able to make another fun, bright, happy card with a new JustRite set called Cherish The Memories Nested Centers & Verse. I pulled out some fun new designer paper I picked up by Echo Park. It's so summery!
Stamps: Cherish The Memories; Cardstock: White, Real Red and Echo Park DP; Inks: Real Red, Summer Sun, Temp. Turq.; Accessories: Nesties, Ribbon, Martha Border Punch, Rhinestones, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today!

Life Is Good

Happy Sunday!
We are having beautiful weather here and it looks to continue for several more days! Yeah!
I decided to make a fun card using Jen's SFYTT on her blog. The drink image comes from a Taylored Expressions set and the sentiment from a Verve set. It's not often that I mix and match stamp companies but I think these two work well together :)
Stamps: Chillax from TE, Relax from Verve; Cardstock: White, Aqua Mist, Echo Park DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Ribbon, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today! I'm off to watch a bit of the Nascar race!

Bring on the Blue

Good Morning!
Last weekend I worked on a diaper cake for a co-worker and I had wanted to show you BUT I did not get a good picture of it before giving it away. I was playing with the setting on my rebel camera and buggered it up...lol Tried doing some things to make my pictures brighter but I only made them fuzzy. Brian fixed it but it was too late.
I did get a decent picture of the card I made to go with it.
The bottom of this card is actually an extra piece of the wrap that went around each layer of the diaper cake.
Since she is having a boy I made it all BLUE....fun eh?
Stamps: MFT Baby Bump; Cardstock: White, Bo Bunny DP(both sides); Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, EK Success Wavy Dot Punch, Ribbons, Buttons, Thread, Dimensionals, Nesties
Thanks for stopping by! VERY soon I'll be sharing some My Time Made Easy Sneak Peeks! Keep your fingers crossed that my parcel arrives....darn snail mail!
Have a TERRIFIC weekend!

Video Game Dude

I know this card, well image, looks a lot like the last one and that is because I stamped and coloured them at the same time...lol
Since it was sitting on my desk I decided to use it for the SCS sketch this week and also tied it into the MFT Wednesday Challenge of using felt and or cork. I do not own any thin cork yet so I went with some fun MFT white felt which was cut using the die-namics scalloped die.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a GREAT day!

Who's That Geek Guy

A couple of days ago the mail person dropped off my MFT package in the box! I was tickled pink! There really aren't enough man stamps out there and this one is perfect for so many of the men I know! I just know it'll get a ton of use!!
Of course my first card using the set had to be for my husband. He loves playing is online games which is good for me because he never complains when I spend an entire day stamping ;)
I stamped the image from Who's That Geek Guy onto cream cardstock and coloured with copics. It's a pretty simple card that uses Mercy's sketch this week.
Stamps: Who's That Geek Guy; Cardstock: Kraft, Prism Yellow, Cream, Cosmo Cricket The Boyfriend DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Twill, Clip, Brads, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by! I have Thursday off work and I plan to stamp stamp stamp!

Sending Birthday Wishes

I've got another card to share!
It started out using a sketch from somewhere but then my flower turned out to be a little big and I couldn't add other layers that the sketch called for....lol
The SU! daisy die was a fave and a must have of mine but it sadly was forgotten :(
It's such a fun die!
Last week at one of my LSS I found some of this pretty paper by Echo Park. At least I think that is who makes it. Anyway, I've never heard of them before but I liked what I saw! So I bought 10 sheets! ha!
For the flower center sentiment I used a JustRite set called Birthday Centers Round and you can find it and many more JR stamps at Stampers Dream.
Thanks for stopping by!

Life is Good Mojo144

Happy Tuesday Morning!
I had a great time stamping yesterday! I finished the diaper cake and gave it to my co-worker. I'm hoping she really liked it! I think it turned out cute. I struggled a bit because it was for a boy and if I'm being honest, I don't do boyish very well...lol. Pinks, flowers, butterflies....that's right up my alley but boy stuff...not so much. I'll share it later this week!
After finishing the cake and matching card I decided to check out Julee's Mojo144 sketch.
After doing something boyish all morning I reached for some bright papers! My surf boards were coloured to match the Cosmo Cricket DeLovely DP.
This Relax set from Verve is so FUN! Love it!
Stamps: Relax; Cardstock: PTI white, Hawaiian Shores, Cosmo Cricket DeLovely DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Ribbon, White Candy Dots, EK Success Wavy Dot Punch, Mat pack and Paper piercer, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a GREAT day!

Mud Buddies CAS72

Good Evening!
I love it when I have Monday's off work! I had hoped to sit out and enjoy the weather but just as I was about to do that....in rolled a thunderstorm....lol
Soooooo I decided to stamp some more!
Here is a card I just made for the CAS72 challenge on SCS using a cute new Pure Innocence Girl called Mud Buddies. You can find her at Stampers Dream along with many other PI girls! Be sure to check them out! I stamped the image and coloured her with Copics. The background was sponged with Tim Holtz distress inks. Here I used Tumbled Glass and Peeled Paint.
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a GREAT week!

Swinging by to say HI :)

Hi :)
Gosh it's been nearly three days since I last stamped and I was going insane! Working weekends really bites! Especially when it's beautiful outside....lol
Since it's super duper hot in my house I knew I'd be heading to the basement to stamp and one of the first things I reached for were my MFT PI girls. LOVE ♥ them!
I checked out the MFT Blog to see what last Wednesday's challenge was and lucky for me it was a colour challenge! Fun times!
Red, Green and Yellow
So this is what I came up with....
Stamps: Start Your Day with Whee; Cardstock: Kraft, Cream, Wild Wasabi, Real Red, Yellow Prism, Garden Variety DP; Inks; Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Felt, Twill, Button, Thread, Die-namics Grass and Scallops, Dimensionals
I'm off work Monday and I hope to spend a great deal of my time stamping!

Berries And Cherries

It's the weekend!
Are you excited? I'm not....lol
I have to work the whole thing....blech!
I've been busy working on a diaper cake for a co-worker and I'm hoping to finish that up in the next couple of days. So stay tuned for that!
Last night I needed a quick thank you card for one of the produce guys at work and what better thing to give than a fruity card!
This image is from Taylored Expressions Berries & Cherries set.
Stamps: Berries & Cherries; Cardstock: White, Black, Rockabilly DSP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Crystal Effects, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a GREAT Saturday!

MFT cutie

I had big plans yesterday to tackle so many different chores and well it started off good....but then I sat down and I was done! ha!
I managed to get some important things done like go to the vet for Snickers food, the pet store for Fozzy's food, laundry and of course stamp. I still have so many things on my to-do list it isn't funny! Not to worry, I'll get 'em done....I always do!
My thank you card below was made for the WT challenge of ribbon on SCS and it also uses Mercy's MTSC78 sketch.
I stamped the PI girl from Hip to be Square and coloured her with copics. The flower was made using a blossom nestie shape and some fun MFT felt. The petals were created with the small and large oval punches from SU!. I stamped the thank you sentiment from Apple for You. Sort of a different thank you card for one of the teachers.
Stamps: Apple for You, Hip to be Square; Cardstock: White, Lemon Tart, Wasabi, Cosmo Cricket DeLovely DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Oval Punches, White Brad, Die-namics Grass, Felt, Mat Pack and Paper Piercer, Ribbon, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today!

Congratulations!

This week has been crazy and I haven't had much stamping time but I'm happy that I have a few things to share from last weekend!
This was a card I made for Chloe to give one of her friends at the end of the school year. A little less than 2 weeks to go! Gosh! Where did this school year go?
I inked up one of the adorable Pure Innocence Girls and coloured her with Copics. In my last MFT order I received the cool Die-namics grass...so fun! The jumbo scallops were made with the Die-namic Scallops from MFT too!
Stamps: Make Mine a Double; Cardstock: Kraft, Black, Wasabi, White and DP; Inks: memento black; Accessories: Die-namic scallops and grass, nesties, copics, dimensionals
Thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment! I love reading them!

Follow Your Dreams

Last Sunday I played along with the Feature Stamper on SCS. LeAnne had a wonderful card here that had a GREAT layout for using up scraps and a pretty sentiment layer. I decided to use another new JustRite set called All Occasions Nested Centers & Verse which you can find at Stampers Dream. When I first saw the Cosmo Cricket DeLovely DP I had to get it...but I haven't used it much even though it has bright happy colours! I found that Bermuda Bay, Summer Sun and Melon Mambo inks go really well with it ;)
Stamps: JustRite; Cardstock: White, Prism Yellow, Cosmo Cricket DeLovely DP; Inks: Bermuda Bay, Summer Sun, Melon Mambo; Accessories: Nesties, Rhinestones, Bermuda Bay Ribbon, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Life Is Good

Sunday afternoon I played along with Jen's SFYTT and came up with this fairly quick card. The longest part was cutting out the tree top and surf board ;)
The designer paper is from Three Bugs In A Rug and from the Island Collection. I've had this paper for a couple of years now and thought it looked good with the palm tree. I stamped the tree trunk on the backside of the designer paper...love that it looks sort of like water! The sand was created with a piece of creamy caramel cardstock and sponged with the ink.

Stamps: Relax from Verve; Cardstock: White, Really Rust, Creamy Caramel, 3BugsInARug dp; Inks: Memento Rich Cocoa, Creamy Caramel; Accessories: Copics, Primas, Brads, Circle Punches, Sponges, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today! I really appreciate your comments!

Stampers Dream JustRite Goodies

Good Morning and welcome to the Stampers Dream JustRite Blog Hop!
Today we are sharing projects made with some of the newest JustRite stamps.
Here I have used the Birthday Centers Round. This set includes nine sentiment stamps that are perfect for anyone. Although this set is called Birthday Centers Round many sentiments can be used for other occasions. For instance this card is one I'm giving to my husband for our wedding anniversary in a couple of weeks :)
There is something about the JustRite stamps that makes me want to go clean and simple.
Well I am the end of the hop and if you made it through all the other blogs I THANK YOU for sticking it out to see my card :)
If you haven't visited everyone yet please do!

Thanks - Live Your Dream

I'm so thankful it's the weekend and that my duties as an assistant store manager are coming to an end. It'll be nice to get back to my normal routine at work :)
I was in need of a thank you card for a co-worker who helped me out this week so I checked out Taylor's sketch #117.
It's been a little bit since making a SU! only card and I was ecstatic to find some of this dp in the back of my drawer!!! I loved this paper!
Stamps: Live Your Dream; Cardstock: Old Olive, Regal Rose, WW and DSP; Inks: Old Olive, Regal Rose, So Saffron; Accessories: SU edge punch, Mat pack and Paper piercer, Oval Punches, Curly Label Punch, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a FABULOUS weekend!

Thank You MFT Style

Wednesday the SCS sketch was a nice, clean and simple sketch....but one that required layers! I love layers!
This was a super quick card that came together in a matter of 15 minutes.
Maybe now I'm done with my teacher thank you cards! Yeah!
Hope you have a GREAT Friday! I'm at a bookkeeping class and will be stamping this evening!
Hope to have something new to share tomorrow!

WTG Goes Green

Have you noticed how much I love the MFT images? Seriously, I'm in ♥!
They are some of the best images out there to colour and create with!
Last month I got this set as part of the VIP package and included was the twill...so fun!
When I was cruising the MFT blog I saw that Kim posted a challenge to make something earthy...could be stamps, paper, embellishments....you get the idea.
I decided to use the WTG Goes Green along with some twill.
Stamps: WTG Goes Green; Cardstock: Kraft, October Afternoon Farm Fresh; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Die-namics Scallops and Grass, Mat pack and Paper piercer, Dimensionals, Twill
Thanks for stopping by! Have a GREAT day!

Happy Birthday

I don't know about you but the colour challenges on SCS have been almost frightening lately....lol I love bright colours but when I read Temp. Turq, Cameo Coral and Ruby Red I almost didn't attempt it. BUT that's why it's called a challenge, right? ;)
I haven't played with my new Verve stamps in a few weeks and I thought the floral image would be pretty coloured in these colours.
I couldn't get Ruby Red cardstock to look good on this card so I opted to try to match my copics to it as best I could. I think it turned out pretty good actually.
The dessert option was to use some ric rac. I think having this pretty ric rac from Sharon's store was what helped me :)
Stamps: Happy Days; Cardstock: White, Temp. Turq, Cameo Coral; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Wavy Border Punch, Mat Pack and Paper Piercer, Ric Rac, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Wednesday~!

Friendship is the Best Medicine

This is my second post for today.
If you'd like to see my My Time Made Easy project please scroll down :)

Sunday I was cleaning up my craft area and found this Pure Innocence image(already coloured) sitting on top of my copic markers. I also found this soft sky top note die cardstock(with a Christmas dp on the other side....lol) and not wanting to waste anything, I threw together this super quick card! I think it turned out cute :)
Stamps: PI girl; Cardstock: White, Soft Sky, So Saffron; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Top Note Die, Mat Pack and Paper Piercer, Dimensionals

Thinking of You MTME Group Post

Hey everyone!
Thanks for stopping by to see another project I made using some new My Time Made Easy stamps and cut files.
After making many Tea Tabbed Boxes for some friends I decided to make some of these super cute and quick Time for Tea Bags. I could not believe how fast this project came together and I can see me mass producing these for year end teacher gifts ;)
The label was also cut using the A Spot of Tea Cute File but you can easily hand cut the sentiment after stamping it.
I used the A Spot of Tea stamp set that has 20 images.
Be sure to visit the MTME design team to see what fabulous creations they have to share with you!

ETA:
After seeing the girls use the Fanciful Flourishes with the berries from Well Preserved Set I knew I'd have to try that! The layout comes from the Clean and Simple Blog's FTL93.

Choose Hope

Yesterday I made this card for the Featured Stamper Challenge on SCS. I chose to case Nikki's card HERE.
Loved her pretty layout and butterflies :)
My sentiment image comes from the JustRite stamps set called Hope 2" Square Borders & Frames. I love that you can mix and match the sentiments and borders or use just one or the other. You'll need the 2" Square Wood Stamper if you are using the borders. The centers should work with your other wood stampers. All of those are available from Stampers Dream.
The pretty paper is from American Crafts Botanique Collection.
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you have a WONDERFUL week!

Think Green

Good Sunday Afternoon!
This has been a wonderful weekend so far! It's so nice to not be working at all! Love it!
Yesterday Chloe and I spent the day hangin' out together. We did a little shopping and went to see Shrek 3D. Then we picked up Season 1 of the Brady Bunch and watched that last night! Good times!
This morning I finally decided my stamps needed some TLC!
I pulled out the new WTG Goes Green and used the sketch that Cindy posted in the MFT forum on SCS. I love to stamp and colour on kraft cardstock!
Stamps: WTG Goes Green; Cardstock: Kraft, Banana, Black and October Afternoon Thrift Shop DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Oval Punch, Twill, Dimensionals, Distressing Tool
Thanks for stopping by today! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Gretal

Good Friday Morning!
Yeah it's the weekend!!!
I'm looking forward to hangin' out with my family. Maybe we'll do dinner and a movie! Fun times!
This was a card I made last weekend using a sketch from Inkspiration. I pulled out one of the cute CC Designs stamps from All That Scraps. The Swiss Pixies were always a favourite of mine and Christine does a fabulous job with them! This is Swiss Pixies Gretal. I can't recall which set or release the bench came from...sorry!

Organic is the New Sexy

Good Morning girls!
I didn't get as much stamping time yesterday as I had planned but I did get a lot of work done around the house! My front and back lawn were both mowed and I enjoyed the sunshine. I did NOT enjoy the mosquito bites I got though...ewwww!
As I sit here writing this post(Wed night) there is a big thunderstorm rolling in. I think this will be our first of the season! Surely that has to mean SPRING is HERE and no more snow ;)
I played along with the SCS sketch yesterday using a new MFT set called WTG Goes Green. My image panel should have been a little bigger but it was close enough.
Look I even paper pieced her top and basket!
Ok I better go! It's getting bad out there! Thanks for stopping by today! Have a GREAT day!

Count the Waves

Yesterday the Colour Challenge on Splitcoast threw me a bit....but after digging through the pretty JustRite Stamps that I got from Stampers Dream, I found By The Sea would work wonderfully!
The colours were Barely Banana, Close to Cocoa and Garden Green(ack!) I can't recall the last time I used Garden Green and in fact only have scraps of that colour...lol
I stamped the image in Versafine black ink onto watercolour paper and embossed with clear ep. Various SU! inks were used to colour the image.
I wanted to showcase this beautiful image so I went with a CAS card.
Thanks for stopping by today! I have the day off and I plan to stamp stamp stamp!! Oh and mow my lawn now that the snow is gone and the rain has stopped ;)

MFT June Guest Designer Contest

Please scroll down or click HERE for my last MTME sneak peek :)

Good Afternoon!
I've been making so many cards lately that I thought I'd double post so I could share with you. I try to play along with the MFT Guest Designer Challenge each month on SCS. Even though I don't win, I still have fun and well I still buy the stamps anyway! LOL!
This month the theme was "Some Like It Hot!"
My first card uses the super fun set called Maid for WTG.
I think you get the HOT easily in this one ;)
My second card uses the cute Make Mine a Double PI girl. She's so cute!
The HOT on this one is the new hot trends....Die-namics scallops, felt, October Afternoon Fly a Kite dp and of course the PI girl ;)
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you have a wonderful week!
