Just Because Mojo Sketch

Happy Thursday!
On Monday I was able to create this card for the Mojo Sketch that was posted. I've been saving it to show you today while I'm in Toronto.
These are some of the new papers that I picked up at a LSS last week. They are the new My Mind's Eye Stella & Rose - Mabel Collection.
I stamped the flower from Great Friend onto the pattern paper and cut out. All layers are popped up with dimensionals. I added some tiny rhinestones to the flower center and around the scallops. The orange pearls were white until I coloured them with a copic ;)
I've got many more Verve cards coming your way soon!
Stamps: Great Friend; Cardstock: Kraft, Pumpkin Pie, MME dp; Inks: Pumpkin Pie, Distress ink Antique Linen; Accessories: Nesties, Lace, Rhinestones, Copic, Martha Border Punch, Pearls, Dimensionals

Children

Well I'm off to Toronto until Friday night but wanted to share my card for the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge first.
Here's a look at the sketch...another great one for a sentiment!
My last MFT order was HUGE and I think I ordered myself 12 new sets. Fun stuff eh?
One of the sets was this Clearly Sentimental about Parenting. It was the Triple Scoop last month but you'll be able to order this one March 1st!
I hope you'll play along with us! If you do and upload to SCS gallery please use keyword MFTWSC8 so we can find you!
Thanks for stopping by!
I'll catch up with everyone on the weekend!

So Much To Do...

Ugh....this was me yesterday....
Trying to do a million things before heading to Toronto.
Cleaning, laundry, ironing, packing plus working from home yesterday. My phone and emails didn't stop all day....lol
I decided to create a card for my mood...
Stamp sets are from MFT and are Twisted Foursome and Making a List.
I love the look of copics on kraft, how about you?
Gotta keep this short...still trying to get my "chores" done ;)
Have a great day!

Think Spring SSS96

I wish our weather would co-operate here and I didn't just have to dream of Spring. We're in a little bit of a deep freeze again :(
Oh well, making some Springy cards does make me smile!
I really enjoyed the Sweet Stop Sketch this week and made three cards. I'll be back with my other one in a bit ;)
My first card uses some of my new goodies from MFT.
The cute PI girl is called You're So Tweet and the sentiment came from another PI set called Out on a Limb. The sweet little butterflies are called Die-namics Butterflies.
My second card has no stamping! I think the bright colours and butterflies makes me think of Spring. How about you? I pulled out my SU! butterfly die and dusted it off. The little butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch.
Here's a look at the sketch! Hope you'll play along! Stop by the Sweet Stop blog and link up your creation.
Thanks for stopping by!

Let It Rain SSS95

Happy WEEKEND!
I don't know what your plans are but whatever you do, I hope it's FUN!
Racing starts this weekend and I can't wait! Feels like forever since I last saw a Nascar race.
Not sure if Brian knows he's losing the 60" tv for the Bud Shoot Out but he is! ha!

This week there is another great sketch from the Sweet Stop. You'll see it below ;)
For my card I used a digi image from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps called Let It Rain.
I printed her onto PTI white cardstock and coloured with Copics. I used a PTI cloud die to cut out the sentiment.
Here's a look at the sketch! I do hope you'll play along with us!

Up Up and Away Mojo 177

This week the Mojo 177 sketch was difficult for me. Not sure why really. Maybe that tilted panel? Things like that don't normally stump me....lol
I tried a few different papers and stamps and finally settled with this as the end result. I am happy with it!
I used the super cute Up Up and Away set from Verve.
The pattern paper was in the scrap box but I think it's from My Mind's Eye.
Stamps: Up Up and Away; Cardstock: White, Cream, Real Red, My Mind's Eye DP; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Ribbon, Button, Thread, Circle Nesties, Dimensionals, Rhinestones

You Brighten My Day

Well it's back to work....fun times....
Actually this week shouldn't be too bad. It's going to be busy but that makes it go faster and Friday is here before I know it!
Yesterday afternoon I was cruising the SCS Featured Stamper and it was Lori Boyd. She has amazing colouring skills and her artwork is fantastic too!
This little Puddle Jumper Emma is the only rubber image I have of hers but I did get six new digi images yesterday!!! hehe! Can't wait to play with them too!
I decided to CASE Lori's card here.
The sentiment comes from Taylored Expressions set called A Year of Sweet Sentiments.
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a GREAT day!

Relax Sweet Stop Sketch #94

Happy Weekend!
It's definitely time to RELAX!
I only wish I was on some tropical island under a palm tree....happy sigh.....
Here's my card for this week's Sweet Stop Sketch #94.
I've used an older Verve set along with a few fun embellishments.
When this Relax set was released last year I knew I had to have it! It has so many fun images. From the palm tree to the surf boards to the funky sun and even some waves!
I cut some cork with the nesties and then hand cut them with some scissors to look like sand on a beach. Tucked the surf board in between the layers as if I stuck it in the sand.
Stamps: Relax; Cardstock: Kraft, Yellow, Purple, DP, Cream; Inks: Memento black, Various SU! markers for the letters; Accessories: Nesties, Yellow Pearls, Ribbon, Wavy border punch, Cork, Dimensionals, Key tag punch
Ready for the sketch? Looks fun doesn't it?! Be sure to stop by the blog and link up your creation!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Enjoy your weekend!
