Hello and happy Friday!
Gosh I haven't stamped all week. Wow.
I'm sure I'll make up for it this weekend ;)
I have a quick Stampin' Up! only card to share with you.
This one was created for Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #136.
I used the sweet Live Your Dream stamp set again as it was still on my desk after the one from earlier this week.
Stamps: Live Your Dream; Cardstock: White, Old Olive, Regal Rose, Retired SU dsp; Inks: Old Olive, Regal Rose, So Saffron; Accessories: Top Note Die, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8 Circle Punch, Paper Piercer, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great weekend!

Where There Is Love There Is Life

Happy Wednesday!
Half way through the work week.
For the next two days I am at our Town Hall meetings for our company.
Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

My card below was created for the Mojo208 sketch and the TLC Challenge on SCS of covering chipboard with pattern paper.
I decided to do a CAS card again.
This one shouldn't be too difficult to mail. Only the heart is popped up.
I used the Verve set called Text Objects.
Stamps: Text Objects; Cardstock: Lucky Limeade, So Saffron, Jillibean Soup DP; Inks: Black; Accessories: Chipboard Heart, Sewing Machine, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today!

Live Your Dream

A quick card for the Featured Stamper Challenge last Sunday.
I used an old SU! set called Live Your Dream.
Stamped it in Regal Rose, So Saffron and Old Olive.
Cut it out with the Top Note Die.
Ran the Regal Rose cardstock through the Big Shot with a Dots Embossing Folder.
A bit of Regal Rose Ribbon finishes the card off.
Thanks for stopping by!

Merry Christmas 25th

Hello and happy Monday!
Are you ready for the work week?
Did you enjoy your weekend?
We had GORGEOUS weather....+30C....in September!! LOVE it!
Yesterday we headed to Blue Rock in Kananaskis Country. It was a wonderful morning to do a little hiking and sightseeing. The family time was exactly what we all needed.
This card below was another one I created on Saturday in my downtime.
The sketch is from an older one from MFT.
I combined it with the Our Creative Corner Challenge of using numbers.
Stamps: A la Mode; Cardstock: Wild Wasabi, Cream, MME 12 Days of Christmas DP; Inks: Memento Black: Accessories: MFT File Tab Die, By The Numbers, Mat pack and Paper piercer, Dimensionals, Spica Pen, Pearls

I ♥ U

Hello!
I have a quick little card to share with you today.
Jen always has a wonderful sketch posted each week but I rarely have time to play along.
Last night I made some time.
My family were all busy doing their own things and I was still trying to unwind from a long and stressful day.
For sketch #20 this is what I came up with.
Stamp set is called You and I from Verve.
The die cut letters are from the I Heart U Die Set.
Stamps: You and I; Cardstock: Vanilla, Riding Hood Red, Cosmo Cricket DP; Inks: Black; Accessories: Circle Nesties, Verve I Heart U Die, Riding Hood Red Ribbon, MFT Scallop Ribbon Die, Dimensionals

Howdy, Friend

Good afternoon
I've been busting my butt cleaning and organizing the house today and finally I *had* to take a break.
What better way to relax than stamp? Right?
I was out of town this week so I needed to catch up on some challenges.
Here was the great MFT sketch from Wednesday....

Here is my card for the sketch.
I've also combined it with the Ribbon Carousel's Challenge #21 of using fabric.
Cleaning out Chloe's closet today I found an old pair of her jeans that no longer fit. Now normally I give these items away but then I'd have no demin to use ;)
Stamps: Well Worn; Cardstock: White, Riding Hood Red, DP; Inks: Black, Riding Hood Red; Accessories: Denim, Well Worn Dies, MFT Scallops, Sewing, Dimensionals, Lemon Tart Ribbon

Love at First Sip

Hello!
I am out of town until Friday on business but unlike some of my trips earlier this summer, I'm really looking forward to this one. I love the drive to British Columbia. It's a beautiful and peaceful drive. Especially in fall.
I hope to snap some pictures :)

Anyway, I do have a card to share with you.
It's from Monday's Mojo sketch.
I've used the fun set Better With You and the xoxo came from the Love Notes set.
See that cute heart? It's from the new die called From The Heart.
Thanks for stopping by today!
See you this weekend!

My Heart Belongs To You

I was crafting away last weekend and had a few pieces of scraps from a previous card on my table.
Then I remembered a card by Monica that I saw here and knew exactly what I could do!
I taped together a few patterns on a piece of white cardstock and ran it through my Big Shot with the SU! Top Note Die. Added a bit of black satin ribbon and a patterned heart that was cut with the Verve Jotted Heart Die.
The sentiment comes from the Love Notes set.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Wednesday!

Thank You

Last week Chloe was selling those Entertainment Books for her school.
Luckily, Karen sold a bunch of them at our head office. Yes, more than me....haha!
I wanted to be sure that everyone that bought one had a thank you card to go with it.
This card was created with some fun Jillibean Soup designer papers and the adorable Apple For You Pure Innocence Girl from MFT.
Thanks for stopping by!

I'm Busy Now...

Ahhhh it's the weekend and that means stamp time.
Love it!
Yesterday I had time to play along with the girls from the Ribbon Carousel and their Getting Punny Challenge.
I used the fun layout from MFT's sketch #37 again. Great sketch, eh?
Papers come from Echo Park Happy Days.
Here is a shot of the inside where I stamped a sentiment from the Twisted Foursome.

You Are My Sunshine You Light Up My Life

Hello and happy Saturday!
I've got a few things on the go today but before I got too busy I needed to stamp!
It's been a few days since I got inky.

Tosh has a fabulous Viva La Verve September Week 3 sketch posted in the Verve Forum on SCS.
I dug through all my Verve goodies and came across this Let It Shine stamp that I hadn't inked up.
I was going to colour and cut out one of the sun images from the stamp set but time was limited so I went with the Flutterby die instead.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Own Your Story

Hello!
Hope you are having a great week!
Work has been draggin' the past few days and I'm looking forward to Friday!

Before all the good tv came on last night I decided to stamp.
MFT had a great simple sketch posted for the MFTWSC37.
I used Own Your Story stamp and die.

Nothing Is Impossible

Happy Wednesday!
This week isn't going by as fast as I had hoped it would. Bummer.
At least the training of a new co-worker is going really well and I think we'll make a great team.

Sunday morning I was able to do a bit of stamping after Chloe and I did all our chores on the to-do list.
This layout comes from Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #134.
I used a some Verve goodness on my card.
I stamped three sentiments from the Words of Wisdom onto a piece of designer paper cut with the Sweet Scallop Die.
I had a bit of designer paper left over and didn't want to waste the sweet bird image so I worked it into the sketch. My sewing machine was giving me fits and I had to re-thread the needle several times because it kept breaking. Pain.In.My.Butt.LOL.
Stamps: Words of Wisdom; Cardstock: Hot Fudge, Riding Hood Red, MME Lost and Found DP; Inks: Choc Chip, Riding Hood Red; Accessories: Sweet Scallop Die(Verve), Scallop Die(MFT), Riding Hood Red Satin Ribbon, Sewing Machine, Twine, Choc Chip Ribbon, Buttons(PTI), Dimensionals

Teachers

School has only been in for less than two weeks but Chloe is loving her teachers and school.
Makes me happy!
She's had homework every night and on weekends but so far she's not minded.

I created this card last week using the Clearly Sentimental About Teachers and the Layered Label Dienamic from MFT.
Great simple CAS card which would be easy to mass produce since Chloe has several different teachers again this year.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a great start to the week!

I Love To See You Smile

Last day before back to work :(
BUT
Tomorrow a new co-worker starts :)
My duties will be cut back to normal and I'll travel less often which means I'll be back stamping like I used to.
Evenings when I get home from work rather than cramming it all in on weekends....lol

Yesterday afternoon while Brian was at work and Chloe was gallivanting around the neighbourhood with her friends, I stamped! Fun!
I created this card using Deconstruction Jen's Sketch #17. I see she has #18 posted now...goodie!
For my card I used some fun summer papers because we are having FABULOUS weather right now!!!
I inked up the adorable Pure Innocence Sunflower Girl and the Clearly Sentimental Set called All Smiles.
Love love love the sentiments and fonts in this set! I'll get used a LOT!
Thanks for stopping by today!

I used two sets from Verve.
The sentiment and flower were stamped from the Beautiful You set.
The word love came from the You and I set.
Stamps: Beautiful You, You and I; Cardstock: Hot Fudge, So Saffron, Vanilla, MME Lost & Found Sunshine DP; Inks: Memento Rich Cocoa; Accessories: Copics, Circle Nesties, Twine, Brad, Sewing, Charming Banner Die from Verve, Dimensionals

Cutie Pie MFTWSC36

Happy Friday!
Gosh I love short work weeks! Wish we had more of them :)

Last night it was hot in our house so I headed down to the basement to stamp.
I really enjoy playing along with the MFT sketch challenges.
I used my all time fave Pure Innocence girl called Being Cute Is What I Do.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Life Is Good

Since Monday was a holiday I was able to enjoy the day stamping.
It was WONDERFUL!
Holly hosted the Technique Challenge on SCS and I was thrilled to play along!
This time it was doing something with your designer paper.
I decided to stamp and emboss on it.
The image is from Technique Tuesday and called Life Is Good.
I embossed it in black and glitter.
Pretty simple card.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Friendship

Happy Wednesday!

Gee I knew I should have called in sick yesterday....lol
Jeff won the race and I didn't get to see it :( Bummer!

Monday was a holiday and I was home stamping for most of it! Fun times!
I created this card using some papers from My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Collection.
The stamp set and dies are from MFT.

Comfort Strength Peace

Yesterday was such a nice relaxing day.
I participated in a few challenges on SCS and on various blogs.

This card wasn't for anything but wanted to use the embossing powder and heat gun since I had it out for another card(maybe show you that one tomorrow).
Last week I had come across a card on a blog that had some beautiful brayer work with purple and green. Much like this one. After several attempts at brayering, I gave up and went with sponging...lol
I still like how how turned out though.
I reached for the Verve set called Forever In Our Hearts.
Stamped it in black craft and embossed with black ep.
I then sponged Wisteria and Pear Pizzazz.
Stamps: Forever In Our Hearts; Cardstock: Concord Crush, Pear Pizzazz, White; Inks: Wisteria, Pear Pizzazz, Black Craft; Accessories: Black EP, Sewing Machine, Sponges

Merry Kissmas

Gosh where has this long weekend gone?
Last day off before it's back to work!
It's not that I've had a terribly busy weekend but I wouldn't mind an extra day or two ;)

Yesterday morning I saw Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch and knew I could create another holiday card using it!
Very exciting! LOL!
I used scraps from the previous card and the sweet PI girl Merry Kissmas.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Enjoy the Season

Happy Sunday!

I don't know about you but I'm always am behind on my holiday cards. Each year I swear I'm going to get ahead but find myself falling behind rather quickly.
Not this year!
I've made a few cards through the summer but it's time to get the ball rolling and I'm committed to doing at least 4 cards a week between now and December 15th. Yep, I'm giving myself a deadline.

Yesterday I stopped into the LSS and picked up more paper. You can never have enough, right?
Well this is some new My Mind's Eye. Love the fun bright colours. I'm not too much of a traditional red and green card maker. Not that I don't like them but I prefer to use blues, pinks, yellows....whatever tickles my fancy that day!
Speaking of the LSS....
I can't bring myself to buy much more than paper there. The prices they have on the stamps is ridiculous....omg!
Being in retail, I am always price comparing and let me tell you, if you can order online directly from MFT then I say do it!

I adore the Pure Innoncence wintery images and had a difficult time deciding which one to ink up.
In the end I went with the Flurry of Love.
The sentiment comes from a WTG set called Winter in the City.
The Jumbo Scallop Die was finished off with some pretty red rhinestones.
Anyway, onto my card....

Thanks for stopping by today!

Ahoy, Matey

Happy long weekend! Yeah!
I'm looking forward to a weekend of stamping and watching sports :)
Fun times at least for me!

This morning after finally tidying up my stamp area I sat down to start making a new mess ;)
It's the first time I've had a chance to create something for the MFT sketch #35 that was posted earlier this week.

I used a cute Ahoy Matey set.
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you enjoy your weekend!
