My Time to Create-Inspiration Challenge

Today I'm sharing my challenge card for the My Time To Create Challenge that Lauren hosts each week. This week we have an inspiration piece. Lauren took the guess work out of it for us with the colours too...love that!

I never seem to have enough Thank You cards kicking around and I've used up most of my stash for all the teacher's last week. I loved the colours but I did have a hard time making them come together. I inked up the floral image from Thoughts & Prayers with my SU! markers and the sentiment comes from Trendy Trees.

Christmas in July with Taylored Expressions!

I'm back with another little project that I'm excited to share with you!
The Baker's Dozen are celebrating Christmas in July....my favourite holiday ;)
Have you seen these super cool Perfect Packages from Taylored Expressions? Well they are a great heavy weight box that folds flat but when assembled is very sturdy. It's a snap to put together too....no glue or tape. It has a great magnetic closure on the front flap too!! I've linked to the small square box that holds 3 x 3 cards.
Here I've decorated the outside to be very similar to what my cards on the inside look like.
I've used my FAVE set from Taylored Expressions called Branching Out.

I made 8 identical cards like the one below and included 8 envelopes in the box as well. My cards have a little dimension to them but you can definitely fit more in there.

Cupcakes Make Life Sweet

Good Morning!
Yesterday I was BUSY BUSY BUSY stamping the day away! I made a total of 11 cards!! I won't show you them all today...don't want to bore you...lol
I will show you the two cards I made for the Featured Stamper though.
This first one was a case of this card HERE.
It was a CAS card and I find them very difficult to make but that's why it's a challenge right?!
Here I've used the cute cupcakes from Taylored Expressions called For the Love of Cupcakes. I paper pieced the one cupcake with some Doodlebug paper.

My second card is a case of this card HERE. I had really wanted to try these cool flowers but just as I was starting my card, the laptop battery died. So I had to go from memory...lol
This is another CAS card...so not my typical style of card but I did enjoy making it.

My first card is a SU! only card that uses Jen's SFYTT. I noticed after I cut the flower and butterfly out that I used Rich Razzleberry ink instead of Rose Red....rofl...oh well I wasn't going to cut it out again ;)

SU! only - WSC88

Hi again! I missed posting on Friday because I was super swamped getting ready for my last exam. I'm happy to report I got 92%...yeah! We crammed a bunch of stuff into a three week course that I swear people learn in a year...haha!
When I got home I had a box full of SU! goodness waiting for me! That order sure didn't take too long to get to me this time...love that!
I decided to play along with Jenn's Weekend Sketch Challenge #88.
This is a SU! only card that measures 5 x 5.

I ordered a couple designer papers that used colours that I don't normally use...like orchid opulence :) Maybe I'll need to actually order some of it now! It's funny how sometimes you get a designer paper that makes you like a colour you used to hate....now I'm saying I love OO...but it's growing on me now ;)

My Time To Colour Challenge-SU only

Chasing Butterflies

Good Morning!
HAPPY CANADA DAY to all my Canadian friends!
Today I have a couple of sneak peeks to share with you.
Both are made using a new set called Chasing Butterflies that will be available from All That Scraps on Monday, July 6th.
This first one was a challenge from Lesa. She asked us to make a card using Patriotic colours...well red and white it is! He sort of looks like a fox now eh?

This next card uses some pretty designer paper I found in my stash! Love the glitter all over it. Of course I then had to add glitter and pop up the little butterfly too! I tried not to cover up all the designer paper :)
