I Never Want To Live Without You Mojo191

This looks to be a very busy week for at work.
I took advantage of some quiet time last night after dinner to make a card using the Mojo191 sketch.

After deciding on some designer papers from My Mind's Eye I chose this Text Objects set from Verve to go with them.
I think my husband will love this! It's not masculine by any means but it was made with ♥LOVE.
Stamps: Text Objects; Cardstock: White, Aqua Mist, MME dp; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Ribbon, Silver Pearls, Dimensionals

Let's Chat

Hello!
Wow did I have a busy weekend! The weather wasn't as nice as I had hoped. We had wicked winds which made it less than perfect for sitting outside. Hopefully next weekend we will have gorgeous weather!

Yesterday I stamped a little bit.
Getting ready for the week ;)

I finally had a chance to ink up this sweet PI called Color My World (looks like it's out of stock currently) from MFT.
I paired her up with some fun new MME dp from the Lime Twist Collection. The layout came from last weeks SCS sketch.
My second card was a quick CAS card for the Featured Stamper on SCS.
As soon as I saw the fun designer papers I knew I wanted to use the Say What? Stamp set and Die from MFT.

I'm going to relax and stamp while watching the race today.
Most of yesterday was go go go and a lot was accomplished around the house and yard so today is for me :)

One Person SSS108

Hello!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Blogger doesn't have any more issues ;)

This week the Sweet Stop has another wonderful sketch with an optional twist....stamped backgrounds!
I pulled out a couple of Verve sets.
I stamped the leaf images from Bloom & Grow in Old Olive ink.
The sentiment comes from One Person.
This was a different style for me but I'm liking the shabby vintage look.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a GREAT weekend!

Thankful - TESC138

Thankful to blogger for getting back on track!
Geez....I didn't realize how much I rely on some simple things like blogging :)

Sorry for the delay but here is my same for the TESC138.
You can find all details in the TE Forum on SCS.

For my card I used the Friendship Blooms stamp set along with Friendship Blooms Dies.
The designer paper is from the Hometown Summer Designer Paper Pack.
To finish it off I added some Yellow Glitter Candy Dots.

Dude You're So Cool

A couple of days ago the new My Mind's Eye Lime Twist papers arrived in my mailbox!
I am loving them! So fun!
Chloe will be needing a birthday card for a friend soon and thought these papers would be okay for an 11 year old??
I used the SCS sketch #332 for my layout.
Stamps are from Verve and I used two sets.
Pretty simple card and the only embellishing was the stitching.
Stamps: Dude, Happy Days; Cardstock: Kraft, Vanilla, MME Lime Twist-Fly a Kite DP; Inks: Bermuda Bay, Certainly Celery, Tangerine Tango; Accessories: Sewing Machine, Dimensionals
Thanks for popping by!

Ribbon Carousel Challenge - Shabby Chic

Hello!

I'm extremely excited to be participating in my first Ribbon Carousel Challenge!

This week the challenge is shabby....vintage....shabby chic. Keywords are RCC2.

Ok I admit....I wanted to panic at first. I don't do shabby, chic or vintage. Now it's not that I don't {heart} the look, it just looks complicated and I figured I wouldn't be able to pull it off.
What do you think?
Did I distress enough? Make it shabby enough? Use the right elements?

I decided on some pretty Girls Paperie papers to get started.
Then I added in some wonderful dies and a pretty Verve sentiment from the Hope Blooms set.
Stamps: Hope Blooms; Cardstock: Kraft, Pink Pirouette, Girls Paperie DP; Inks: Black; Accessories: MFT Scallops, MFT Notebook Edge, Verve's Vintage Oval Die, Verve's Classy Label Die, Pearls, Sewing Machine, Lace, Ribbon, Prima Flower, Dimensionals
I bet you are excited to see what the other girls have created, right?
Pop on over to the Ribbon Carousel Challenge Blog and play along for your chance to win a prize!
Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Monday!

I trust you had a wonderful weekend?!
Mine was quiet but I like quiet sometimes :)

Yesterday morning while getting all my cards ready for the week I took a little break to work on a Featured Stamper card that I saw here.
I pulled out the new MFT set called Clearly Sentimental About Friendship which is the triple scoop this month...check it out!
That pretty flower was created with the Upsy Daisy Die-namics.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a GREAT start to your week!

I'm Here If You Need Me

Happy Mother's Day!
First thing on my list today is to call MY mom and wish her the happiest of days!
I wish we lived a little bit closer but a phone call to hear her voice will make my day :)

I was playing around with my latest MFT order that arrived this week. I had only ordered a couple of stamps but a lot of die-namics in the package.
The sentiment comes from a new WTG set called Girls Rule.
Here is a list of die-namics I used on my card. You'll notice I used bits and pieces from a couple of them.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Enjoy your day!!!

Happy Birthday - SSS107

Hello!
It's great to be back! I still haven't stamped anything all week but I'm sure I will this weekend :)
Sometimes we all just need a break, right?

Any way, I want to share a card that I made for this week's Sweet Stop Sketch #107.
I {heart} this fun layout with the diagonal panels!
As I said earlier this week, I LOVE this purple designer paper from LilyBeeDesigns Picket Fence.
See those tiny flowers on the designer paper?
Right away I thought of this pretty floral image from Verve's set called Fancy Florals.
I stamped the flowers in Elegant Eggplant and Pale Plum. A little bit of Atyou Spica Pen was added to the inside pale plum but it's hard to see...sorry!
Stamps: Fancy Florals; Cardstock: White, Royal Velvet, LilyBee Designs Picket Fence; Inks: Elegant Eggplant, Pale Plum; Accessories: SU! scalloped punch, Mat pack and Paper piercer, Oval Nesties, Dimensionals, Atyou Spica Pen, White Brads
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you'll join us at the Sweet Stop for a great sketch!

MFT Teasers - Day Four

Hope you have been enjoying the My Favorite Things teasers the past few days?! Only a couple more to go before the big release!
I'm so excited!!
Today I'm sharing three more cards with you.
First one uses a set called Inspired By - Up, Up and Away.
I started out with a monochromatic card but felt it needed some fun colour so I added a bit of MME Stella and Rose Dp to the bottom.
I stamped some clouds from the set on the inside in Soft Sky ink and used the Atyou Spica pen to add a bit of shimmer to them.
My second card I went with a lot of bright and happy colours!
This stamp set is called Claire Keay - You Had Me At Woof.
Cute, eh?
Love that I Woof You sentiment....hehe!
My last card for today uses the Just My Type (Die-namic Duo stamp set & die set).
For the inside I used the die from the Textile Rectangle die and stamp set.
Here are the dies I used:

Prize: $30 gift certificate to Verve

Here's my card that I created for the hop.
I was inspired by Shannan's Viva La Verve sketch a week or so ago. Those slanted panels looked like a starburst of some sort. Talking with my friend Karen she reminded me of the Up, Up and Away set and how fun it would be with that idea. So I decided to go with a rainbow of colours around the card rather than to the side. BUT it was Shannan's original layout that inspired me. I went ultra simple on this one. Adding some hand cut grass and some felt clouds. The sentiment layer was cut with the Charming Oval Die and stamped with a sentiment from All About You.
I'm tickled pink with how this one came out :)
Stamps: Up, Up & Away, All About You; Cardstock: White, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Lemon, Wild Wasabi, Bashful Blue, Purple; Inks: Memento Black; Accessories: Copics, Atyou Spica Pen, Bashful Blue Striped Ribbon, Oval Nesties, Charming Oval Die, Dimensionals
