We had the most glorious day yesterday!

The temp in my car read 32C on the way home at 5 pm!

Wow! Awesome!

Today we are expecting rain which is a good thing. We need it. My lawn is half dead....lol

I chose to CASE Karen's card here.

 I used a PTI set called Botanical Silhouettes that hadn't seen ink yet. I know...gasp! It's a gorgeous set, isn't it?

Hello!

Yesterday started off a little chilly in the morning so after a trip to the Farmer's Market I decided I'd stamp until the wind died down a bit.

The Stamping 411 blog had a great sketch #252 posted.

Sort of a CAS card/layout.

Being Cute Is What I Do

Half way through the work week again!! 

Lately I've been living for Wednesdays....ha!

This card below was created for the Featured Stamper - Shellie on SCS and also for the Crafty Friends Challenge #2 of using two die cuts on your card.

I started out by choosing this pretty paper from Simple Stories - Fabulous Collection.

Thought the sweet PI girl from MFT would go well wth them.

I've had these circle rhinestones in my stash for a long time and after seeing Shellie do something on her card I thought it was the perfect time to dig into them!

I really enjoyed the weekend!

Probably my most favourite weekend since we moved back to Calgary!

Yesterday I was up super early(nothing unusual for me) and was ready to stamp before 9 am :)

I was able to make several cards!!!

The girls at Crafty Friends Challenge have a new challenge up this week and it's to use two die cuts on your project.

Well that's EASY PEASY for me!

I love using different dies on my cards and often times create a card with dies and NO stamping. Those are fun!

I actually created two cards so far for the challenge but this is the first one.

Here I have used a MFT Who's That Girl image along with some dienamics.

Fringed Perennial Flower, Jumbo Monach Die, Ribbon Tab from First Place Award Ribbon Die.

The papers are from My Mind's Eye.

SU! Petite Purses

Hello!

Just a quick little post from me....

Last weekend I created these little itty bitty purses with the SU! Petite Purse Die(item 125606)

Aren't they cute? Super easy to make!
I grabbed some papers from my stash, cut purses, taped together, added a button with linen thread and the handle with some little silver brads.
These would be super simple to make as favors to house some little chocolates?? ;)

A Pencil and a Dream

I had another long day yesterday at work BUT this time after dinner I decided rather than stretching out on the couch I would stamp!

I love Wednesday's for the MFT sketch each week.

It's always a GOOD one!

On Tuesday I had a few minutes to spare before picking Chloe up at school so I stopped by the LSS and browsed their clearance section. 

Picked up this cute MFT a la mode called Talk Nerdy to Me for half price! Score!

Hello and happy Saturday!!

Yesterday I tried to make a few cards but nothing was working for me....not sure why.

Maybe because I was tired and had a headache? 

In the end I decided to walk away from the table and today I'll go back and try to finish up.

This PI girl is from Fly A Kite and the sentiment was one that MFT gave out last year during CHA.
