More Sneak Peeks and Our Creative Corner Challenge

Good Saturday Morning!
Today is another Our Creative Corner Challenge! Don't you just love Saturdays?!
This week Jennifer challenged us to use Dry Embossing on our cards. I knew right away that I'd want to use my newest CB embossing folder....Swiss Dots that I got from Peggy at PaperWorksCo.
Be sure to check out what all the other girls created as well!!
I finally received the new MFT stamps this week and could not wait to ink 'em up!
I found a nice Chatterbox paper that goes well with the new SU! In Colours....yah! The Bella Rose DP from SU! is....well....not my style....lol Although I've seen some fabulous cards with it ;)
I've got TWO more sneak peeks to share with you this morning!
Both cards below were created with the set called Fairytale Adventures from Little Paper Shop. Remember these will be available for purchase on July 22!

Tutu-rific Sneak Peek and SCS Sketch Cards

Good Thursday Morning!
I've got another sneak peek to share with you today. This set is called Tutu-rific and will be available from Little Paper Shop on July 22.
Many of you know that I am challenged by the colour black. I don't know why but I have a hard time working it into my designs. I had fun with it this time though!
My original idea was to cut the image in a circle...but ummm...got side tracked and forgot that part...haha!
I knew as soon as I saw the sketch challenge on SCS that I would want to use a SU! set I hadn't used in a while. Garden Whimsy seemed to perfect! I thought I had stocked up on this Summer Picnic DP but it appears I'm on my last package...ack!
Believe it or not....this card is ALL SU!
Yippee! It was a FABULOUS mail day for me yesterday! I received my new MFT stamps and my Unity stamps. I'll get some Unity cards made very soon!
This Bunny Slippers set worked awesome for a second card using the sketch.

Thanks for stopping by today!

I want to apologize for not blogging so well the past couple of weeks and promise to catch up with everyone real soon. I didn't realize how swamped I was going to be getting ready for Sneak Peeks, Dirty Dozen Gallery and visiting with my Mom. My computer time was a lot more limited but Mom has gone back home and my Sneak Peeks are all ready to go.

Yep...I'm yelling! I'm so flippin' excited!
Have you been to Splitcoaststampers yet today? Have you seen WHO the new Dirty Girls are?
Can you believe that I AM A DIRTY GIRL!?!
I'm sure you are as surprised as I was....lol
Well you may not be surprised to see Emily Giovanni there...you all know her....she is the Color Challenge Queen! I'm super excited to be in this for the next six months with her! I can't wait to get to know her better!!
I had the hardest time keeping this HUGE secret and I had to flat out LIE to Jennifer Meyer a couple of weeks ago on the phone....sorry Jennifer...hope you can forgive me ;)
Onto my cards!
This first one was for Monday's Try a New Technique. Beate had written a fabulous tutorial on SCS for this GRID technique. It's super easy but gives wonderful results. I'd gotten my new SU! stuff last week and wanted to give them a whirl. I'm not sure I like the new colours just yet...
Stamps: Dreams De Jour; Cardstock: Riding Hood Red, Kiwi, WW and Bella Rose DP; Inks: Kiwi and Riding Hood Red; Accessories: SU! Scallop Edge Punch, Scor Pal, Dimensionals
Julee had her Mojo sketch posted first thing Monday morning and I couldn't wait to get at it. I had this monkey already stamped and coloured from another project I'd been working on. He is so adorable! These Summertime Fun stamps from CC Designs can be purchased at All That Scraps.

Good Monday Morning!

Good Monday Morning!
Hope you all had a nice weekend! Ours was just okay....weather was good and bad....
I had a chance Sunday to sit down and work on a bunch of cards...very productive day!!
I'll share a few with you this morning :)
This first one is one I started for the Featured Stamper on SCS but then decided to combine it with a couple other challenges out there! Featured Stamper 75, Sharon's Thank You Challenge and the Verve Diva Colour Challenge.
I CASED this card of Stehpanie's.
Have you been to the Storage Units, Ink & More website lately? You should pop on over there and see the fabulous stamp sets, Core'dinations paper, Ink, Copic Markers....
I made both of these cards....just because...don't you love when you don't have a reason to make things?~!
This first card was made using the Put Me In, Coach! I've also used Core'dinations paper in Forest and French Roast.

I used the Boys'n'Bugs set for this little cutie! Really Rust and Core'dinations French Roast go really nicely with the American Crafts DP. Since the DP looked distressed, I decided to distress the other layers as well! Thanks for stopping by today!
I have a lot to share this week! Little Paper Shop will begin it's Sneak Peek previews and I'm lucky enough to be a Guest Designer for July!

Meet The Verve Divas Challenge Card

Good Sunday Morning!
Last week there was a Colour Challange posted in the Verve Forum on SCS. I KNEW immediately that I'd want to participate. Not just because they are giving Verve Bucks either...lol
I LOVED the colours they selected for their first Meet The Verve Divas Challenge.
Choc Chip, So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive
Yummy aren't they?
Oh and I was super excited to finally use my new SU! Scallop Edge Punch! Can't believe it took me a couple of days....it's awesome!
Thanks for stopping by today!
I'm hoping to play along with the Featured Stamper sometime today so I might be back later ;)

Our Creative Corner Inspiration Challenge

Good Saturday Morning!
Well yesterday my Mom left and has gone to spend her last couple of days with my sister and her family before heading home. It's so strange to not have her around. I'll miss seeing her but know that we will continue to talk several times a week. Thanks for the great visit Mom!
Today is another Our Creative Corner Challenge. This week we have an inspiration piece brought to us by Jennifer Meyer. Scroll down to see the picture of it.
Now if you know me, you know that inspiration pieces are always difficult for me....lol
When I saw the picture I jotted down a few things...
Banana, Cream, Apricot, Scallops, Tulips, Flowers, Red Gingham
Now the red gingham has been up for discussion with the girls...some see it...some don't...right Cindy? LOL! I see it on the chair cushions although it may be hard to see here.
Funny thing is that I hunted for my red gingham, found it and then forgot to use it...haha!
Stamps: Just Like You; Cardstock: Barely Banana, Apricot Appeal, WW, Apricot Appeal DP; Inks: Black, Celery, Apricot, Banana; Accessories: Circle Nesties, Small Corner Rounder Punch, PTI ribbon, Martha butterfly punch, Dew Drops, Dimensionals
Here is the inspiration piece. Pretty eh?
Be sure to check out all the other girls creations at the OCC!
If you decide to play along and upload to SCS please put the OCCC in the keywords so we can easily find your wonderful creations!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Mini Challenge Card

Good Friday Morning!
Thursday brought the Ways To Use It Challenge and it was all about MINI things. Mini stamps, mini brads, mini projects....
I thought these little stamps from Verve's new set Asian Flair would be perfect for this challenge. Lucky for me I had some mini butterfly brads that Brian picked up for me on one of his outtings!
As I was cruising through my folders I noticed that I hadn't posted this Unity Giggle Grove card yet. This card started out as the sketch for last weeks Our Creative Corner Sketch but then I moved it around and it no longer followed the true sketch....lol
Thanks to all of you who have planned along with us at the OCC. If you haven't played yet, you still have time and don't forget there is a little blog candy up for grabs this week! If you upload to SCS please put OCCC in the keywords so we can find it ;)
Thanks for stopping by today!
I may be back later with a couple more cards to share ;)

MFT sketch cards and SUInk clipboard

Good Thursday Morning!
I had a chance earlier this week to participate in the MFT sketch challenge in the SCS MFT forum. Cindy puts up the best sketches!! Of course I HAD to do TWO! You can see the original sketch HERE.
I'd recently gotten the Annie LaPoint Peppermint stamp from MFT and really wanted to use it. It's a gorgeous stamp isn't it?! I've used Almost Amethyst with Gable Green. Sort of an odd Colour Combo but I think it looks good together.
This one is made with Here's The Scoop from MFT. I added Stardust Stickles to the chocolate layer and some dew drops on the Designer Paper. Can you all tell I'm loving this Swiss Dots Embossing Folder that I got from Peggy at PaperWorksCo.
Wow, it's been a long time since I altered something like a clipboard. My how I've missed doing these sorts of projects! I thought this would be perfect for a baseball game score sheet keeper. That is a job right? My friend, Susan, shared a score sheet with me to go along with this. Thanks Susan!
These stamps are from Storage Units, Ink & More. This set is called Put Me In, Coach!
The ball gloves, baseballs and infield are all cut out and popped up. I know it's not practical to have them popped but it looks GOOD that way ;) Don't you agree?~! LOL!
These stamps are so much fun to colour with Copics. As I look at it now, I'm thinking I should string a pen from the clip...may add that later!

Thanks for stopping by today!

I didn't add recipes but if you need to know something...please holler at me ;)

Good Wednesday Afternoon!
How many of you are counting the days until the new SU catty? I'm still waiting for my sneak peaks and In Colours to get here but as always...it's been rescheduled...lol
I knew I'd want to use a SU! set today so I pulled out the In The Stars for todays Sketch Challenge on SCS. What a fun sketch!
I'd almost forgotten to show you my spinner card! This was for Monday's Try a New Technique Challenge. Beate has a fabulous tutorial written on SCS for it. I hadn't made one of these since last summer...they are fun! Although I had to go out and buy dental floss to do it. We had every colour BUT white in the house...
I used one of my newest MFT sets... Here's The Scoop
Wednesday's bring an All That Scraps Design Team Challenge. This week we were challenged to use Chipboard. I LOVE chipboard!! Remember a couple of years ago when chipboard coasters were all the rage? Well I had like 500 of them...haha....still got quite a few ;)
I decided to pull out some coasters and make a little post it note book for a To Do List. Want to know what's on the first page? Dust Dining Room Table...ack! When I took the pictures you could SEE the dust...gross...haha!
I used the CC Design Stamp called Queenie. She's so cute! You can get her at All That Scraps.

Thanks for stopping by today!

ETA: Julia at Little Paper Shop is having a sale! Go on...check it out!

Mojo and Colour Challenge Cards

Good Tuesday Afternoon!
Yesterday afternoon I sat down to work on Julee's Mojo sketch. In case you missed it...I LOVE these Verve stamps! LOL! I never get tired of floral stamps ;) This My Mind's Eye DP seems a perfect fit with these images from Petals and Stems.
Today's Colour Challenge on SCS was a fun one! I immediately thought of ice cream when I heard it...
Choc Chip, Barely Banana and Groovy Guava
This gave a me chance to ink up the ice cream cone from MFT Here's The Scoop...

Thanks for stopping by today!
