Thank You Colour Challenge Card

My second post for today...
Emily had an interesting Colour Combo for today on SCS. I say interesting because there was a gray in there and frankly, it's a colour I just don't like...but that's why they call it a challenge right???!!
Kiwi Kiss, Basic Gray, Baja Breeze and Not Quite Navy was optional
This was almost a SU! only card until I used one of those wedding flowers from Mike's and sponged the baja on it. Topped it with a silver bells dew drop.
Thanks for looking!
Stamps: Inspired by Nature, Best Yet; Cardstock: Not Quite Navy, Basic Gray, Baja Breeze, WW and Maine Blueberry dp; Inks: Kiwi Kiss, Baja, NQN; Accessories: Curly punch, Top Note Die, Kiwi Ribbon, Silver Elastic Cord, Sponges, Dew Drop, Misc Flower, Dimensionals

A Tangerine Christmas

Monday was a super busy day.
I did manage to get a couple of cards stamped....hoping this is it for Christmas cards. I didn't get as many mailed out this year as I had hoped but the school volunteer stuff really ate up my time.
This card was made for Julee's Mojo65 sketch. Super simple ;)
Stamps: Flaky Friends; Cardstock: Tangerine Tango, WW and Frosty Days DP; Inks: Black, Choc chip; Accessories: Top Note Die, Choc Taffeta, Copics
Since I had half a top note die cut I thought I better use it or it may end up in the trash and we know that would be a shame! Just something quick and easy using up some other scraps.
Stamps: Season of Joy, Cute and Curly; Cardstock: Tangerine, WW and Frosty Days DP; Inks: Tangerine and Kiwi; Accessories: Top Note Die, Tangerine Ribbon, Curly Punch, Dimensionals

Want a dirty little sneak peek?

You all know what tomorrow is right? December 15th which is the opening of the December Dirty Dozen gallery. This month and for this month only(as a little Christmas present) SCS will be opening the December gallery to EVERYONE(must be a regular free member).
Also this is my LAST month....six months have flown by!
Bet you can't wait to see who's getting dirty next :)
Today I am sharing a little sneak peek of my favourite card this month ;) Stop back tomorrow for a full shot! I can't wait for you to see the gallery this month!!! I think it's my favourite one yet!
Splitcoast has a special offer for a fan club membership...one year @ 19.95 US. Already a FC member? Why not give a gift subscription to a friend?! I know that's what I am going to do!

Good Sunday Morning!

Today will be spent baking....I'm in a cookie exchange with some girls from work tomorrow. I can't wait to see all the goodies I'll be bringing home!! I would like to make some nice tags to attach with my cookies and recipes...hope to do that today too!
I'm still in need of holiday cards to get out in the mail. I'm sure most of my cards this week will be along those lines....lol
I had some time yesterday while waiting for the laundry so I worked on the next couple of cards. This first one uses Taylor's sketch. I stamped the Flaky Friends Snowmen on some shimmery white cardstock and coloured with my Copics. This My Mind's Eye DP is so pretty! I hated to cover up the birds on it.
Stamps: Flaky Friends; Cardstock: Riding Hood Red, Shimmery White and My Mind's Eye dp; Inks: Adirondack Black; Accessories: Copics, Riding Hood Red Satin Ribbon, Scalloped Edge Punch, Rectangle Nesties, Stickles, Dimensionals
This picture looks so washed out....sorry!
I used a Whiff of Joy stamp that my friend Kelly sent to me for this sketch by Jen.
I'd had the image on my desk and coloured for awhile now so I grabbed it and put this together.
Stamps: Whiff of Joy, AmyR Christmas Sentiments; Cardstock: Pacific Point, Real Red, White and Real Red DP; Inks: Black; Accessories: Copics, Scalloped edge punch, Pacific point ribbon, Martha snowflake punch, Dimensionals

My Krafty Snowmen :)

Good Morning!
I'm sooooooooooo glad it's the weekend! Not that I'm going to get much rest or anything! Today I have some shopping to do and finish my Christmas cards. Tonight Brian and I have his company Christmas party. It's bitterly cold here now and will continue for the next several days....highs of -25C which is -13F....I wish I didn't have to go anywhere....lol
Lauren has a great sketch today! I've taken advantage of the cool Scenic Route DP I had so there really isn't much stamping to this card. Just this cute little snowman from the CC Designs set called Winter Bear. Stop by Lauren's blog to see the sketch and what all the other Saturday Sketch girls have come up with as well!
Stamps: Winter Bear; Cardstock: PTI kraft, Kiwi Kiss and Scenic Route DP; Inks: Adirondack Black; Accessories: Circle Nesties, Copics, SU scalloped edge punch, mini rhinestones, Dimensionals, Riding Hood Ribbon
This week at Our Creative Corner we had a great challenge set by Julee. It was to make a gift card holder. Seems I have been making MANY of them lately with the holiday season here but all of mine have been the same thing....lol This time I used a tutorial by Jessie that you can find HERE. I didn't follow it exactly but got the same general outcome ;)
I used the CC Designs set called Winter Bear again....I LOVE these cute stamps! AmyR has a great Christmas Sentiments available at ATS too! Since I had the cardstock and designer paper out for my other card, I used the same things here!
Be sure to stop by the OCC girls blogs to see what they have come up with too! You will find them all listed on my sidebar on the right.
Stamps: Winter Bear; Cardstock: PTI kraft, Riding Hood Red, Scenic Route DP; Inks: Adirondack Black; Accessories: Oval Nesties, Copics, Riding Hood Ribbon, Circle Punch, Antique Jumbo brad, Slit Punch, Dimensionals, White Gel Pen

40 min mass production!

Good Morning!
I know I'm posting later than usual today but that's because I had NOTHING to show you....so I whipped up these quick cards so you'd have something to look at...lol
I am super busy again today....yesterday I was at the school all day and it went well with the Christmas decorations and the Cookie Dough delivery but my arms are killing me today and we are back at it again this morning.
These cards use the same basic supplies....
Either Choc Chip, Baja Breeze, Real Red Cardstock bases with Ski Slope DP.
The Season of Friendship tree was stamped on White that had been cut out with the Top Note Die. The little bird was stamped, cut out and popped up on dimensionals. The sentiment is from the hostess set Best Yet.
I finished the card off with some ribbon.

SU! only stuff!

Good Morning!
Well today starts a VERY busy 7 days ahead....
This morning I am at school starting to decorate the gym for next weeks Christmas concert and then this afternoon handing out the cookie dough from the fundraiser. Can't wait to bake some of those yummy White Chocolate/Macadamia nut cookies!!!
Yesterday I had a little time in the morning to play along with the SCS sketch. I wanted to do an all SU! only card and I still need Christmas cards so this is what I came up with....not too sure about it yet but it's growing on me!
Stamps: Season of Joy; Cardstock: Choc chip, Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red, Old Olive, Shimmery White and Ski Slope DP; Inks: Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, Old Olive; Accessories: Curvy punch, 1" circle punch, silver brads, dimensionals
Here is another calendar I made for my friend Brenda. I used all SU! paper and stamps again. You can find the tutorial on Nancy Morgan's blog Paper Smiles.
I love this Haiku DP! It's so colourful and fun!

A couple challenge cards

Jen challenged us to make a gift card holder this week and I know you've seen something like this just last week from me....but I used a different nestie shape and different image ;)
The nesties shapes were cut using Tangerine and Frosty Days dp. The front and back are held together with the round tab punch and some sticky strip. A little bit of silver elastic cord will allow me to hang this on the tree :)

I love this little snowman from the Winter Bear set available either in rubber or a digi download at All That Scraps.

Inside of the gift card holder with a little pocket(design paper) to hold the gift card. That layer is popped up on dimensionals.
Yesterday on SCS the colour challenge Emily gave was scared me at first...anything with Taken With Teal...freaks me out...haha!
So I kept it to a minimum here....
I used this cute H & M Stamp set called Percy Builds Frosty.
Colour Challenge: Riding Hood Red, Taken with Teal, Baja Breeze
Stamps: Percy Builds Frosty; Cardstock: Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, Taken With Teal, WC paper; Inks: Versafine Black, Baja, Riding Hood Red, Taken with Teal, Pumpkin, Choc chip; Accessories: Aqua Painter, Baja and Riding Hood Red Ribbon, Circle punch, scalloped edge punch, 2 way glue pen and glitter, snowflake embossing folder, long curvy rectangle nesties, dimensionals

This one is for Sunday's Featured Stamper96...Anna.
She has a fabulous gallery! Here is her card I CASED.

This one is for Taylor's TECC45 sketch.

Gingersnap Snowbunnies

Today Christine from All That Scraps is releasing these new digi images called Gingersnap Snowbunnies. You can already buy them in rubber from ATS. Aren't they darling?! I decided to make a set with the images she sent out.
This first picture is a group shot and frankly...it isn't very good...so scroll down to see the individuals.
I coloured the images with my Copics and cut them out with Oval Nesties then popped them up on dimensionals. The clear gems at the bottom were adhered with Red Xmas Stickles.

Images: Gingersnap Snowbunnies; Cardstock: Cool Caribbean, White, Real Red and Luxe DP; Accessories: Copics, clear gems, Red stickles, Real Red ribbon, slit punch, Oval nesties, Dimensionals, Essentials White Gel Pen
Be sure to scroll down for another cool project...I have two posts for today :)

Desktop Calendar

Good Monday Morning!
Hope you all had a fun and productive weekend like I did!
After getting the tree up and most of the decorations out, I moved on to the outdoor lights. Those are done now too!
I've been itching to do THIS tutorial by Nancy Morgan. Yesterday afternoon I sat down to make one...I've found what I'm going to MASS produce for gifts this year! These calendars! Yep...took me only 30 minutes from start to finish...gotta love that eh?!
I didn't use the ribbon to keep my calendar together though....instead I did what Cambria Turnbow showed when she made one HERE.
This one will go to one of Chloe's teachers....that's why there is the Summer Picnic DP with the Apple Pattern ;)
This is a SU! only project.

Stamps: A Tree for All Seaons; Cardstock: Basic Black, Pumpkin, Bashful Blue, Real Red, Old Olive, WW and Summer Picnic DP; Inks: Black, SU! markers; Accessories: 1 3/8" circle punch, Scalloped circle, Dimensionals

Good Sunday Morning

Ok four tree stands later....our tree is finished!
Every tree stand we had(even the one that came with it) broke from the weight of the tree...so Brian went to work and welded me a heavy duty one this isn't going anywhere! He even painted it....not that you can see it OR my tree skirt.
Chloe decorated the tree this year....for the most part anyway. I think she did a great job!
If you have your tree up, please share a link so I can come take a peek at yours!
Ok so you probably didn't come to just see my tree right?
How about this card I did for the Limited Supply Challenge on Friday.
You were to use only snowflake images(no snowmen), snowflake DP or embossing folders, one word sentiments, sparkle and it had to monochromatic.
I used this On Boards Trimmings Snowflake and inked it with Riding Hood Red and added Dazzling Diamonds to the tips. Finally used some of this wonderful Vanilla Hodge Podge Hardware too! The inside is stamped with PEACE from AmyR's Christmas sentiments that are available at All That Scraps.
Stamps: AmyR's Christmas Sentiments; Cardstock: Riding Hood Red, Very Vanilla and October Afternoon-Sleigh Bells dp; Inks: Riding Hood Red; Accessories: On Board Trimmings, 2 way glue pen, Dazzling Diamones, 1" Circle Punch, Vanilla HPH, Dimensionals
