Today I have another Taylored Expressions card to share with you! I can't get enough of the images in the new set called The Places You'll Go. They are so fun and the sentiments are fabulous! I've used the SCS sketch challenge #245 for my layout(flipped). See the cool designer papers? Well you can get those at Taylored Expressions too! They are from the Places You'll Go Key Ingredients Kit.

Sugarplums Apple Emma

Happy Wednesday!
It's been a few weeks since I have had time to play along with the All That Scraps Wednesday challenge...so happy I can today!! Lesa told us it was time to put away those copics and watercolour ;)
I was excited to colour Sugarplums Apple Emma! She is SO sweet!
Emma was stamped with versafine black onyx onto watercolour paper and coloured with an aqua painter and my SU! ink pads.
The layout comes from Mercy's sketch #38 on her blog HERE.

Good Morning!
I know it's the long weekend and I'm working...bummer! I hope you are enjoying the extra day off!
While I was watching the race last night I played along with the Featured Stamper on SCS. I chose to case this card here.
I kept the same layout but changed the stamps and cardstock colours.
Isn't this new Sweet Kiki just adorable? I got her from All That Scraps but haven't had any time to play with her. There are three new Kiki's so be sure to check them out!

I've got some great Halloween sets to share with you from Taylored Expressions that also use the Halloween Key Ingredients as well. This first card uses the Trick or Sweet II. Isn't cuppie cute dressed up as a toad?! See those cool chipboard numbers and button? Well they are included in kit also!

Rain or Shine Happy Halloween

Good Morning!
Yesterday my mom left after being with us for nearly 3 weeks. It seemed very weird to be home for a day off, Chloe at school and mom not here. I really appreciated her coming out to help with watching Chloe during the summer months. We'll miss her!
I worked on some more sneak peeks which you'll be seeing over the next several days.
First I'd like to share a card I made using Cindy's MFTSC97 that I saw on her blog.
Since I'm making so many Halloween things this week, I thought it'd be nice to do a fresh card.

The Places You'll Go Sneak Peek

Today starts the Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks!
This is the next edition to TE Giving Tree series. It's called The Places You'll Go and it helps support the Books for Kids Foundation. Their mission is to promote literacy among all children with a special emphasis on low-income and at-risk preschool-aged children. Books for Kids creates libraries, donates books, and partners with literacy programs to develop the critical early foundation and skills which young children need to be successful in life. For each The Places You'll Go stamp set sold during the quarter, Taylored Expressions will donate $7.00 to the Books for Kids Foundation.

I have created this card below to give to Chloe as she starts 5th grade. The inside reads...

Halloween Gift Giving

Today is my mom's last day with us and then she is off to my sister's for a couple of days before heading home. It was great having her here the past three weeks. Wish she lived closer so we saw each other more than once a year :( Especially now with Chloe growing up so fast!

Ours was a little stressful on Saturday. Chloe had gone with a friend and her parents to a splash park but on the way were in a car accident. Chloe is OK but it was still frightening for her and for us!

Happy Freezin' Season

Notepad

Happy Tuesday!
I've got a quick little project to share with you today.
This is one of those little magnetic notepads that I picked up a couple of years ago in Florida from the Dollar Tree. I covered the ugly note pad with some of the August 20th KI kit papers that are available from Taylored Expressions. The cool rub on and Kaiser Rhinestones come in the kit too! I added some Prima Flowers and paper piercer the corner. To finish it off I made a beaded pen to go with it :)

Sorry I was MIA all weekend :(
I was totally exhausted and just relaxed when I could.
Yesterday I did stamp a little though ;) I've got a cute Taylored Expressions stamp set to show you that I used with the August 20th KI kit.
I stamped the image from Chillax Chickie in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Choice Buttercream cardstock and coloured with Copics. I added a little bit of Glossy Accents to the glass and some Stardust stickles to the lime. The Kaiser Rhinestones are included with the August 20th KI kit.
The sketch comes from Taylor's sketch TESC79.
