Try a New Technique Challenge

Today's Try a New Technique Challenge on SCS was to make one of THESE Sweet Centerpieces by Martha....they took a bit of figuring out....but once I got it....easy! LOL! Remember we used to make these all the time as kids. I think it was more in Jr. High and they always said something about boys on the inside! haha!
Anyway, this first one was made with Cutie Pie DP and the A Little Birdie Told Me stamp set. I didn't have any treats for this one as I'd put all the Caramel Kisses in the second basket.
I know what you are thinking....the center flower piece is Choc Chip....lol....I know but I had it on my table since last week and Iwanted to use it....so I did.
The DP on this one is from Scenic Route and the stamp set is Simply Said. I stamped in Ruby Red and Choc Chip and used Very Vanilla and Ruby Red Cardstock.
Thanks for stopping by today!
I'm off to work on some cards now!

These are absolutely darling! (We used to play with these all the time as kids...only we called them "cootie catchers" -- and yeah, they did have things written in there about boys. lol

TFS!

How fun are these??? Did you have to go out and get the chocolate or did you have it around the house??? There's no spare chocolate around here....Have a great night my friend!
