Colour Challenged...

Happy Tuesday!
First of all, I want to thank you all for your thoughts and concerns for Chloe. Her doctor app't went really well yesterday. But in the end, they couldn't really tell me WHY she says her heart hurts. The two cardiac specialists we saw each said that she seems to have a very strong and healthy heart. Both said they think the pains have nothing to do with her heart. It could be growing pains of sorts. So for now we monitor her but to keep a close eye on her pulse when it happens.
Onto my cards....
Both of these cards were made this morning for todays Colour Challenge on SCS. You were to use Wild Wasabi, Purely Pomegranate and So Saffron. I used these colours a lot for my Christmas cards and sometimes substituted Real Red for Pomegranate. So it was hard to think of cards that were not Christmas related....lol
This first card uses one of my new sets called Friendship Blooms. I made a little boo boo. Can you spot it?
I glued down the saffron flower instead of using a dimensional. I had cut both flowers out and wanted to pop the bottom one up...ooopss!
Can you believe this is the first time Pun Fun has seen ink? It's such a fun set to use! I'll definitely be watercolouring with it soon ;)
This time I stamped the image on WW cardstock with Stazon and coloured it in. Then I ran it through my Xyron machine and added glitter to the entire piece. The photo doesn't show how sparkly it is IRL.
Thanks for stopping by today!
I've got cake in the oven for Brian's birthday. It's tomorrow but Chloe and I decided to surprise him today with a dinner, cake and gifts!

Good to know Chloe's heart is okay. Love both the cards, but especially the first one. Would have not notice that you did not pop up the first circle

Sending many well wishes your daughters way!!! I love both of these cards, but the first is my favorite. When I saw that set in the SAB catalog, I had no intention of getting it. I have now seen so many cards that I love using it, I had to place another order. :-)

OMGosh, Dawn, how scary about your daughter's heart! I'm so glad the specialists both think her heart is fine. Hopefully, it IS just growing pains.

Your cards are adorable! I love the "crispness" of the first one and the glitter on the second! Both are so cute!

Oh sorry I missed that you were taking Chloe to the Cardiologist, but am so happy to hear that things are OK. Did they rule out reflux? She could be getting heartburn. I know Alexa had that happen for a while. They put her on Pepcid! Then the complaints stopped. My issue was Alexa DOES have a ehart condition! So her complaints sent me over the edge! But after ruling out a heart related issue and putting her on Pecid life was good.
Im so happy to hear they dont think tis serious :D
Hugs!
