A note to you

Good Morning!
Yesterday's colour challenge was Close to Cocoa, Bashful Blue and So Saffron. This card is all Stampin' Up!
For the border along the bottom I've used the Curly Label Punch. I've noticed this around on other creations but the first place I can recall seeing it was on Amy Sheffer's Blog
It really adds a nice touch doesn't it? Amy is chalk full of ideas!
Stamps: Thoughts & Prayers; Cardstock: Close to Cocoa, Bashful Blue, So Saffron, WW and Delicate Dots dp; Inks: Choc chip; Accessories: Curly label punch, Flower trio punch, Brads, So Saffron ribbon, Mat pack and paper piercer, Dimensionals
How about a yummy cupcake???? Since I'm on a diet I will settle for this card instead ;) I've used the H & M Stamp set called Cupcake Wishes and watercoloured the icing with Close to Cocoa ink. It was cut out and popped up on dimensionals.
Stamps: Cupcake Wishes; Cardstock: Bashful Blue, So Saffron, Close to Cocoa, WW, WC paper and Maine Blueberry DP; Inks: Bashful Blue, Close to Cocoa; Accessories: Aqua painter, Mat pack and Paper piercer, Wavy Border punch, paper snips, White brads, Dimensionals
Since it's Wednesday...it's time for another All That Scraps Challenge. This week Lesa challenged us to use microbeads on our projects. I'm LOVING these cute birds in the Tweet-ies set. My image was stamped in Versafine Black onto watercolour paper and coloured with my SU! watercolour pencils and an aqua painter. It's been ages since I've used this colouring medium but and I sure do like the end result! I've added microbeads to the flower on the umbrella and also to a few of the circles on the designer paper.
Stamps: Tweet-ies; Cardstock: Real Red, Temp. Turq, WW, WC paper and dp; Inks: Versafine Black; Accessories: Watercolour pencils, Aqua painter, Round Tab punch, Mat pack and Paper piercer, Curvy Rectangle nesties, Turq. Ribbon, Glossy Accents, Microbeads, Dimensionals
Just another shot...
Thanks for stopping by today! I really appreciate your comments and visiting me so often! I noticed a couple of days ago that my counter has gone over the half a million mark...wowzers!

Oh Dawn, the ATS image is SO dang cute!! I love it! the SU! card is gorgeous! I HADN'T decided on whether to get that tree set but now, after seeing your beautiful card, I am going to have to get it! The curly label punched border is fantastic! Leave it to Amy!!

Hope you got to see your game last night!!! Have a great day!

How did you use the curly punch for the border?

You don't need to be on a diet. The border you made on your first card could be made by a fiskar border punch that just came out.

Hey Dawn, Gosh you've been busy!

Love that color combo on your first card. I may just need to try it out! I love the image of the first card. I think I may need to buy that set. You are an enabler. . .did you know that? LOL!

I'm on a perpetual diet. . .I think 3 years now and although, that cupcake looks delicious, it's adding a few lbs on me just by looking at it. It looks yummy. Love the layered borders!!

Awesome work with the micro beads on you dp. What a fantastic way to spruce up a designer paper. Very pretty!!
