Good Morning!
If you have arrived here from the Taylored Expressions newsletter for the first time...Welcome! I hope you all will like what I have to share with you today!
A couple of weeks ago I picked up this plain Kaiser box from a LSS and couldn't wait to do something with it. Normally by now I would have created something for Chloe's teacher but with going back to work I just haven't had the time that I'd like to do those sort of things.
Well it was time I MADE time! LOL!
All the paper and stamps I used are from the Taylored Expressions store.
The Places You'll Go Stamp set and Key Ingredients Kit are currently out of stock but should be back in shortly. Sorry!

Each year Chloe's school create a theme for the At Home Reading Program. There is a wonderful display made on one of the library walls. Well this year the theme is Islands! After 25 books are read they get to move themselves from one island to the next.
I decided to create bookmarks for the kids. I'm not sure how Chloe's teacher will give them out but I was thinking maybe as a reward of some kind.
What better set to use than The Places You'll Go!!
I used the Labels 4 nesties to cut the shapes and stamped the images on choice buttercream in Memento Tuxedo black ink. I then coloured with copics. I REALLY wanted to pop the layer up but that wouldn't fit too well in a book...lol
After cutting, colouring and assembling the bookmarks I decided to add a jumbo eyelet to the top/end and tie a piece of ribbon.

Here is a shot of the box empty. I'm hoping once she gives out the bookmarks that she will find a good use for the box!
