Holidays Paper Players #112

Good morning!

***If you are looking for my Sweet Sunday Sketch please scroll down***

Today on the Paper Players Blog we have a colour challenge for you :)

When I created my sample earlier in the week I didn't have any basic grey cardstock so I had to stamp my sentiment over the tree in basic grey instead. I actually like the softer look the grey gives rather than a black.
This is a SUO card.
Stamps: Evergreen; Carstock:White, Baja, Black, Snow Festival DSP; Ink: Baja, Basic Grey; Accessories: Baja Seam Binding; Adorning Accents Edgelits, Adorning Accents Folder, Dimensionals
Before I get an email telling me that I have misspelled grey....that's how it's spelled....in Canada and many other countries.
Just like we spell colour with a U.
Thanks for stopping by today!

There's something about SU that really makes cards seem cleaner and softer and your card is absolutely gorgeous, Dawn! Love that font in the grey, too.
Hugz2u and have a great day, hon.

Great minds think alike, eh?! Bee-u-tiful card, Dawn! I love the gray text over the tree. I agree it makes for a soft and lovely look so perfect with the serene blue tree. Your ribbon treatment is gorgeous--that loopy double bow is amazing. I must work on my bows! Have a great day!

This is simply beautiful! And your bow - seriously....how do you do it?? I am "knot" good with a bow! :) I did a real life LOL when I read about your GREY spelling. I often spell it with an e not even thinking. After all - it's a greyhound, and the book is Fifty Shades of Grey......

Very pretty, Dawn. I think the grey font is so much softer than the black. The bow is the perfect finishing touch.

I'm still cracking up that someone would leave you a comment like that. Seriously?? LOL! Let's talk about that gorgeous card! Love the die cut detail framing the main image and your bow is perfection. The patterned paper is a great compliment, too. Very, VERY pretty! Hugs! :)
