A couple challenge cards

Jen challenged us to make a gift card holder this week and I know you've seen something like this just last week from me....but I used a different nestie shape and different image ;)
The nesties shapes were cut using Tangerine and Frosty Days dp. The front and back are held together with the round tab punch and some sticky strip. A little bit of silver elastic cord will allow me to hang this on the tree :)

I love this little snowman from the Winter Bear set available either in rubber or a digi download at All That Scraps.

Inside of the gift card holder with a little pocket(design paper) to hold the gift card. That layer is popped up on dimensionals.
Yesterday on SCS the colour challenge Emily gave was scared me at first...anything with Taken With Teal...freaks me out...haha!
So I kept it to a minimum here....
I used this cute H & M Stamp set called Percy Builds Frosty.
Colour Challenge: Riding Hood Red, Taken with Teal, Baja Breeze
Stamps: Percy Builds Frosty; Cardstock: Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, Taken With Teal, WC paper; Inks: Versafine Black, Baja, Riding Hood Red, Taken with Teal, Pumpkin, Choc chip; Accessories: Aqua Painter, Baja and Riding Hood Red Ribbon, Circle punch, scalloped edge punch, 2 way glue pen and glitter, snowflake embossing folder, long curvy rectangle nesties, dimensionals

Good Morning!
I don't have much time to go into details for my cards today...sorry! If you have any questions, please holler :)
On Sunday afternoon I sat down to work on another set of cards. This week I started with the Featured Stamper then moved on to Taylor and Jen's sketches.
All three cards use the same basic supplies of:

Inks: NQN, Old Olive, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue
This one is for Sunday's Featured Stamper96...Anna.
She has a fabulous gallery! Here is her card I CASED.
This one is for Jen's SFYTT.

Gingersnap Snowbunnies

Today Christine from All That Scraps is releasing these new digi images called Gingersnap Snowbunnies. You can already buy them in rubber from ATS. Aren't they darling?! I decided to make a set with the images she sent out.
This first picture is a group shot and frankly...it isn't very good...so scroll down to see the individuals.
I coloured the images with my Copics and cut them out with Oval Nesties then popped them up on dimensionals. The clear gems at the bottom were adhered with Red Xmas Stickles.

Images: Gingersnap Snowbunnies; Cardstock: Cool Caribbean, White, Real Red and Luxe DP; Accessories: Copics, clear gems, Red stickles, Real Red ribbon, slit punch, Oval nesties, Dimensionals, Essentials White Gel Pen
Be sure to scroll down for another cool project...I have two posts for today :)

Desktop Calendar

Good Monday Morning!
Hope you all had a fun and productive weekend like I did!
After getting the tree up and most of the decorations out, I moved on to the outdoor lights. Those are done now too!
I've been itching to do THIS tutorial by Nancy Morgan. Yesterday afternoon I sat down to make one...I've found what I'm going to MASS produce for gifts this year! These calendars! Yep...took me only 30 minutes from start to finish...gotta love that eh?!
I didn't use the ribbon to keep my calendar together though....instead I did what Cambria Turnbow showed when she made one HERE.
This one will go to one of Chloe's teachers....that's why there is the Summer Picnic DP with the Apple Pattern ;)
This is a SU! only project.

Stamps: A Tree for All Seaons; Cardstock: Basic Black, Pumpkin, Bashful Blue, Real Red, Old Olive, WW and Summer Picnic DP; Inks: Black, SU! markers; Accessories: 1 3/8" circle punch, Scalloped circle, Dimensionals

Good Sunday Morning

Ok four tree stands later....our tree is finished!
Every tree stand we had(even the one that came with it) broke from the weight of the tree...so Brian went to work and welded me a heavy duty one this isn't going anywhere! He even painted it....not that you can see it OR my tree skirt.
Chloe decorated the tree this year....for the most part anyway. I think she did a great job!
If you have your tree up, please share a link so I can come take a peek at yours!
Ok so you probably didn't come to just see my tree right?
How about this card I did for the Limited Supply Challenge on Friday.
You were to use only snowflake images(no snowmen), snowflake DP or embossing folders, one word sentiments, sparkle and it had to monochromatic.
I used this On Boards Trimmings Snowflake and inked it with Riding Hood Red and added Dazzling Diamonds to the tips. Finally used some of this wonderful Vanilla Hodge Podge Hardware too! The inside is stamped with PEACE from AmyR's Christmas sentiments that are available at All That Scraps.
Stamps: AmyR's Christmas Sentiments; Cardstock: Riding Hood Red, Very Vanilla and October Afternoon-Sleigh Bells dp; Inks: Riding Hood Red; Accessories: On Board Trimmings, 2 way glue pen, Dazzling Diamones, 1" Circle Punch, Vanilla HPH, Dimensionals

A Peachy Saturday!

Good Morning!
TODAY is the day that Chloe and I will put up our Christmas tree! I can't wait!
First I want to share two cards with you....my Saturday Challenge cards with some friends.
This first one uses Lauren's sketch. Who says a Christmas card can't be PINK ;) I think these snowmen from Flaky Friends look adorable in these fun colours, don't you?!
If you play along and upload to SCS use keyword mytimess14.
Saturday Sketch Girls:
Stamps: Flaky Friends; Cardstock: Regal Rose, So Saffron, Shimmery White and Georgia Peach DP; Inks: Adirondack Black, So Saffron, Old Olive, Regal Rose; Accessories: Copics, Stickles, Curvy Punch, Snowflake Punch, Ghost Snowflake, Sparkle Brad, Dimensionals
This month Julee is our hostess at Our Creative Corner! She's given us a fabulous sketch to start December. We hope you will play along with us! Stop by the OCC blog to see what goodies might be instore for you if you participate.
I've used more of the Georgia Peach DP along with this cute stamp set from H & M stamps called Comfy Valentine. I paper pieced the bloomers with the polka dot pattern from the DSP. I coloured the bottom ruffles of the bloomers with a copic marker for some contrast. Finished it off with some ribbon tabs and buttons.
Would you like to see more of my OCC friends cards up close?
Remember if you play along, link to the OCC blog and also use keywords OCCC when uploading to SCS.
Stamps: Comfy Valentine; Cardstock: Regal Rose, So Saffron, WW and Georgia Peach DP; Inks: Black; Accessories: Copics, Ribbon, Buttons, Dimensionals

Candy Cane Can

Hey all...I'm back with a quick little project I just finished.
This afternoon I'm helping out in Chloe's class as the kids are working on their Christmas decorations for the gym(Christmas Concert). I thought it would be fun to take some candy canes with me so they can eat them while they work! I'll just fill this up with some mini candy canes I have for another project I'm working on ;)
The lid was really hard to get off unless you used something to pry it up so I thought I'd attach a loop of ribbon to pull on to loosen it. Seems to work okay!
Lid on ;)
Stamps: Season's Sweetings, AmyR Christmas Sentiments; Cardstock: Core'dinations Green, Whimmery White, American Crafts DP; Inks: Adirondack Black, Real Red, Always Artichoke; Accessories: Copics, May Arts Ribbon, Circle Nesties, Linen Thread, Dimensionals, Small clear can

I was busy last night working on my Dirty Dozen cards and my Saturday challenge cards....neither of which I can show you right now....sorry....lol

An evening of stamping...

Wow we are in a little bit of a cold spell here! Barely any snow but man it was COLD yesterday...glad I'm on inside supervision this week at the school....lol
Last night after dinner I ran down to work on these few cards.
This first one is for the sketch on SCS. It's a SU! only card.
Pretty simple and quick(10min).
Stamps: Deer Friends; Cardstock: Old Olive, Choc Chip, Shimmery White and Ski Slope DP; Inks: Old Olive, Choc Chip, Yo Yo Yellow; Accessories: Silver Brads, Curvy Punch, 1" circle punch, Dimensionals
I know it's Thursday and I'm just getting around to doing Julee's Mojo sketch from Monday....this week has been crazy with school volunteer stuff. It's really cutting into my stamp time which seems to only happen in the evenings....I used to NEVER stamp at night....I'm not a night person....you know...in bed by like 10 pm and I get up at 5:30 am each day.
Anyway, this is what I came up with using Julee's Mojo63 sketch. I haven't used the Petals and Stems set for a while now. Don't you think it goes well with this pattern from the Washington Apple DP? Well maybe if I didn't cover most of it up eh?! lol
Julee wanted to embrace the white space this week....something I don't often do....but it's so clean and crisp and pretty!
Stamps: Petals and Stems, Feeling Groovy; Cardstock: PTI white, Riding Hood Red, Pumpkin Pie, Washington Apple DP; Inks: So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Riding Hood Red; Accessories: Scalloped edge punch, silver brads, mini pearls, martha butterfly punch, curvy punch, mat pack and paper piercer, dimensionals
Even though my parent's Wedding Anniversary isn't for quite a few months, I thought I'd make this cute card for them....they aren't gray haired(not completely) or bald yet but my parent's have a pretty good sense of humor! This set is from H & M Stamps and is called Our Love.
This uses Julee's Mojo63 sketch as well.
Stamps: Our Love; Cardstock: PTI white, Old Olive, Not Quite Navy, Maine Blueberry DP; Inks: NQN, Old Olive, Adirondack Black; Accessories: Copics, scalloped edge punch, chipboard flower, olive poly twill, dimensionals

All Boxed Up!

Good Morning!
I soooooooooooo wanted to post this project last night when I finished but I had already done two posts yesterday and had unsubscribers...didn't want to tick anyone else off...lol
This took me much longer than anything I've done in quite sometime. Like TWO whole laundry loads from start to finish ;) rofl
I used all Papertrey stamps, paper and ribbon for this.
This is the All Boxed Up template from Lauren and PTI. I had some issues with my printer and cardstock. Instead of printing on cardstock I used the copy paper and then cut and traced it onto my Kraft and Poppy. The scoring was easy to do. Now that I've done one....I bet I could do another in just ONE load of laundry from start to finish!!
Stamps: Believe; Cardstock: PTI Poppy, White, Kraft and Vintage Holiday dp; Inks: Palette Noir; Accessories: Copics, Top Note Die, Oval Nesties, Poppy Ribbon, Stardust Stickles, Dimensionals, SU scalloped edge punch

Here is an inside shot which holds 4 cards/envelopes.

One of the cards....all four are the exact same...I don't normally mass produce(if you call 4 mass producing...lol) but thought it worked best for a set like this.

Stamps: Believe; Cardstock: PTI White, Kraft, Poppy; Inks: Palette Noir, Poppy; Accessories: Copics, Top Note Die, Oval nesties, Quickie Glue Pen and Glitter, Dimensionals
hmmmmm....now to find someone worthy of giving this to!
Be sure to scroll down for another post today!

Wednesday Challenges

Good Wednesday Morning!
I'll be at the school all morning working on Special Lunch stuff for the kids....but I hope you'll enjoy these challenges!
Jen Ofiana from ATS challenged us to a FABULOUS colour challenge for today! I used Jen's sketch from i{heart}2stamp for my card. After colouring the snowman's mittens brown I think the sort of look like potatoes for hands....oops!
Stamps: Sugarplum Snowmen; Cardstock: Pacific Point, Soft Sky, Choc Chip, WW and Bella Rose dp; Inks: Palette Noir, Pacific Point, Soft Sky; Accessories: Copics, SU scalloped edge punch, Circle Nesties, Pacific Point Ribbon, Misc snowflake, 2 way glue and Dazzling diamonds, Dimensionals, Sponges, jewel
This week Mary Jo challenged the girls to make a holiday card that is 90% white. Ok so mine is probably more 75% white....lol
I didn't get any of the SUINK holiday sets so I used the All Holiday Sentiments set. I actually like the way it turned out with a simple sentiment stamped on the front. The Heidi Swapp Snowflake doesn't show up that well in the picture but IRL it adds a nice shine to the card!
Stamps: All Holiday Sentiments; Cardstock: PTI white and Purely Pomegranate; Inks: Pomegranate; Accessories: Swiss dots embossing folder, scallooped edge punch, mat pack and paper piercer, pomegranate satin ribbon, heidi swapp ghost snowflake, labels nesties, dimensionals

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Well it's finally snowing here! Hard to believe it's the beginning of December and we have only a skiff on the ground! The snow started to fly this morning after Chloe left for school, I should go out and sweep soon before all the kids start walking on it.
I wanted to share this card I made for Taylor's sketch last week. It's a FABULOUS sketch that allows me to use loads of cute designer paper!
Stamps: A Tree for All Seasons, Many Merry Messages; Cardstock: Tangerine, Choc chip, WW and Frosty Days dp; Inks: Black, Choc chip, Tangerine, Bashful Blue; Accessories: Circle Nesties, 2way glue pen, Dazzling Diamonds, Tangerine Ribbon, Dimensionals

Simple but cute bookmark

Storage Unit, Inks & More is not releasing any new stamps for the month of December so Denise has asked us to do a review of some old sets. I really like this A Touch of Class. When it first came out, I couldn't put it down! I was making backpack tags like crazy....well now I've moved onto these bookmarks! I forgot I had these bookmarks from SU!(retired). It's always a pleasant surprise when you find things like this...lol

Stamps: A Touch of Class; Cardstock: Real Red, WW and American Crafts DP; Inks: Palette Noir Black; Accessories: Copics, Red Striped Ribbon, Heidi Swapp Ghost Flower, Prima, Rhinestone Brad, Corner Rounder Punch, SU bookmarks

Thanks for stopping by!
I'll be back later this morning with a few more challenge cards....the camera batteries died and are re-charging.

To those forever friends....

Good Morning!
I've got a couple posts to share with you today so be sure to scroll down for the second one!
I needed a quick(10 min) card to send to a friend that I'd sort of lost touch with. She's one of those friends that we don't talk often but we've been friends for 30 some years. A couple times a year we just pick up where we left off and catch up on what's been going on in each others lives. Do you have friends like that? The kind that you don't HAVE to talk to on a regular basis yet still be the best of friends?
I'm going to pop this in the mail to my friend today!
This is a SU! only card.
I forgot how much I adore Sage Shadow...it's such a pretty colour.
Stamps: Season of Friendship; Cardstock: Sage Shadow, WW and Autumn Vine DP; Inks: Choc chip, Sage shadow, Really rust, Creamy caramel; Accessories: Top Not Die, Pewter Build a Brad, Paper snips, Dimensionals

H & M Blog Hop Project

This is my first H & M Stamps blog hop! I'm so excited to show you what I've created! This months theme was called Wrap It Up.
Here is a list of the other DT member blogs...pop by and see what fabulous creations they have come up with for you!
I didn't have any Christmas H & M stamps so I grabbed something that could easily be used for ANY occasion ;)
Coffee's Brewin' is one of those all around sets that should never be put away...lol....I'm loving this set!
Here I have created a little gift card holder that can hang on a Christmas Tree.
Stamps: Coffee's Brewin'; Cardstock: Kiwi Kiss, Bashful Blue, WW and Frosty Days DP; Inks: Palette Noir Black, Kiwi Kiss; Accessories: Label Nesties, Round Tab Punch, Silver Elastic Cord, Silver Brads, Dimensionals, copics
Here is the inside with a pocket created with Frosty Days DP. I plan on poppin' a Tim Horton's Gift Card inside(same as say Dunkin' Donuts)
Also tonight you will be able to order all those cute CC Design stamps that I have been previewing the past few days! Go to the All That Scraps site for all the details!
