I have been waiting for this day to come for MONTHS!!!

Hockey is back and I'm thrilled!!!

Today I'll be napping at some point so that I will be alert for the game. My family is excited dreading it because I do a lot of yelling at the tv when a game is on....haha!

This card below was created using the Paper Players Challenge #128 which were the colours of Basic Grey, Daffodil Delight and Pacific Point.

Those colours threw me for a loop....lol

I was okay until I had to work the grey in. Not a ink I reach for.ever.nope.ha.

The Paper Players team had some wonderful floral inspiration so I gave it a go with the Verve set Bloom & Grow.

I've been in need of a few Get Well cards lately. Suppose it's that time of year with the flu running rampant in most  areas around here. Knock on wood....I haven't had it!

Oh my. I am beat this week. Working way too hard lately...lol

I haven't had a lot of energy to stamp in the evenings so weekends I go a little crazy stamping like mad!

Wow this snow just doesn't stop!

I'm loving this new American Crafts paper pad that Brian picked up for me on Saturday. Can't put it down. So many fun and colourful papers!

I sat down while watching the evening news last night and created this card using the Mojo 276 sketch.
Pretty straight forward card using the sweet Verve set called Dream Big. LOVE this set!

Did you have a nice weekend?

Ours wasn't overly exciting other than we are trying to plan our summer vacation to Florida and the July race at Daytona!! 

I managed to spend a lot of time in my craft room which always makes me happy :)

Late Saturday evening they had posted the Featured Stamper on SCS and since I'm mountain time I was still up and could play along early.

Lynn has a wonderful gallery and I chose to case one of her silhouette cards with sponging here.

Gosh I wish weekends didn't go by so quickly!

Oh well at least I get weekends off ;)

Yesterday I was able to spend a great deal of time in my craft room. Some of it was spent cleaning and organizing and then I sat down to make a mess again! LOL!

In the end I created about 6 cards. Productive!

This card combined the Freshly Made Sketch #68 and the Dynamic Duos Colour #35 of So Saffron and Certainly Celery.

When cleaning I came upon a few SU! sets that I think I'll sell now that they are either retired or that I'm not a SU! demo anymore I can sell :)

Blog Candy

As I clean up my stamp room I'm find some duplicate stamps or ones that I bought but never used.

I thought why not give them away to someone who can give them some love!!

This year I vow to use everything I buy! I'll give good thought before ordering online or picking up at the LSS if it's REALLY going to be used more than once.

Life is Beautiful

Good Saturday Morning!

It's been a nasty weather week here in Calgary. Started off nice. Then the chance of snow came. Ummm some chance of snow....lol....think we ended up with about 30 cm which is about a foot. Envirnoment Canada sucks at predicting the weather...lol

Needless to say, I will not be going very many places this weekend. Driving in the snow and on the icy roads for work all week was enough for me.

I plan on staying in and stamping!

Gosh is it just me or has this week felt longer than normal? I'm certain it's because it's the first full week I've work in a long time...lol

On Wednesday night I worked a little more on my craft room and cleaning it up. Found several different stamp sets that I've never inked up or have doubles of.

Well I made it through day one of back to work!

Whew!

Four more to go! LOL!

I was tired when I got home but after a family meeting and a decision about our summer vacation plans I was too excited to sleep and headed to my stamp room :)

For the Mojo275 I pulled out some old DP and a cute Verve set called Chicks Rule. Love this adorable set! It has so many CUTE CUTE CUTE sentiments to go with these adorable chicks.

My first full week of work since before Christmas....yuck!

I inked up a MFT set that I was a triple scoop long ago but never got any love.

Believe this set is called My Favorite Sentiments. Papers are from an old paper pad which is most likely My Mind's Eye.
