Freshly Made Field Flowers

Hello

Earlier this week I received some sad news that someone I know is battling cancer :(
I wanted to make a card for the family to let them know I'm thinking about them and saying a few prayers. They are very optimistic as they begin treatment.
I needed a little inspiration to get me going and the Freshly Made Sketch #42 was exactly what I needed.
The lady going through all of this is a SU! demo so I know she'll appreciate this SU!  only card :)

Stamps: Field Flowers; Cardstock: Marina Mist, Basic Black, Whisper White, Polka Dot Parade; Inks: Lucky Limeade, Marina Mist; Accessories: Organza Ribbon, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by today!

Aw, Dawn...so sad to hear this. :( Your card is sure to give her a sweet pick-up.
Praying for her {and you}.

Beautifully done, Dawn. Love the flower and well done with the fussy cutting! I'm sure your encouragement will mean a lot :)

So sorry about your friend. I hate that cancer word! It hit very close to my family and it makes me cringe. Your card will definitely bring a smile to her face...especially since it's SU only! Very thoughtful of you!

It's a beautiful card for your coworker and his family. I love the shade of blue....so pretty and calming. They'll love it....and I really hope they can get rid of the cancer.

This is gorgeous. I never thought of pairing these elegant flowers with polka dots, but I love the look and want to try it now myself!

Dawn, sorry to hear about your friend.
This card is jawdroppingly gorgeous. Now, I wish I hadn't given away this set. I love the organza ribbon, it is the perfect finishing touch.
