Colour Washing

Hello :)

Early yesterday morning I started stamping and then stopped once the Daytona 500 started.
I squeezed in a few cards for the Featured Stamper 381.
These next couple were cased from Andrea's inspiration here.
This first one I used some Distressed Inks and a paint brush/water.
I swiped the inks across the watercolour paper and then used a wet paint brush to move the inks around.
The stamps are from Verve's Because of You.

Stamps: Because of You
Paper: White, Black, SU watercolour paper
Ink: Black, Distress Inks in Tumbled Glass, Peeled Paint, Worn Lipstick
Accessories: Paintbrush, Water, Dimensionals
This next one is a SU! only card where I used SU! ink and a paint brush/water.
I first wet the watercolour paper with a wet paint brush and then picked up some of the inks from the lids.
Stamps: Field Flowers, Serene Silhouettes
Paper: White, Black, SU watercolour paper
Ink: Black, Pink Pirouette, Cool Caribbean, Certainly Celery
Accessories: Paintbrush, Water, Dimensionals

Two beauties, Dawn. Love the different look the brighter colours vs. the lighter ones give the cards.

Both of these are beautiful! I love that one is a little bolder in color and the other is softer. :)
