Cupcakes make everything better

I am so happy it's FRIDAY!
This has been a week from....ugh! BUT today the girls from work are having a potluck lunch and I'm really looking forward to it!

Yesterday was my friend's birthday and this is a little gift set I made for her.

I picked up these cute little cupcake scented lotions at Winners and used Taylor's Sweet Celebration stamps to spruce them up! I then added Verve's Cupcake Affair Sentiment to finish it off.

I decorated a tin but could only get a good pic of the lid.

Thinking maybe she would use this tin for something else some day, I made it for cupcakes in general ;)
I am having my first Christmas Stamp A Stack tomorrow and I still need to finish prepping for it. That's what I'll be doing all afternoon...lol

I'm so tuckered out after three days of landscaping....I don't know if I have enough energy to stamp! The girls and I ended up working again yesterday and got 75% of the area covered with mulch....then we officially QUIT! I've never been more proud of myself for quitting...lol
It's time for some of those other parents to buck up and do something ;)
I'd like to wish my friend Sandy a very Happy Birthday! Hope it's a good one my friend...enjoy that massage today...you deserve it after all that hard work!
Before heading off to the school though...

Live With Passion

Happy Wednesday!
I didn't stamp a thing again yesterday and that makes me very unhappy!
We have spent the past two days digging holes and moving trees around the school yard. Today we SHOULD be spreading the mulch but every bone in my body aches and I'd rather take a day of rest....here's hoping the other two girls feel the same way this morning?! lol
I dug into my folders to find something I hadn't shown yet....so here it is....another 10 min card...I'm loving these lately!
Stamps: A Light Unto My Path, Inspired by Nature; Cardstock: PTI white, Choc Chip, Bella Rose DP; Inks: Choc Chip; Accessories: Rectangle nesties, SU scalloped edge punch, Mat pack and paper piercer, Primas, Filigree Brad, 5/8" choc ribbon

Good Tuesday Morning!
Gosh the past couple of days have been so hectic. Sunday I ended up with a migraine which put me out for the entire day. Monday Chloe was still sick and we think it's Strep. So she's on antibotics...her poor glands are so swollen, you'd almost think it was mumps...ugh. Brian stayed home with her yesterday as I had a ton to do at the school. Luckily he can stay home again today, as it's Remembrance Day here in Canada. I'll be back at the school...playing in the dirt again...haha!
I did manage to make a quick 10 minute card so I'd have something for you to see if you happened to visit me! I used Jen's Sketch For You To Try from Saturday.

Sadie and Brandon play soccer

Good Tuesday Morning!
Sorry no post yesterday but I was busy making my Dirty Dozen cards and my SUINK stamps showed up so I had to prepare for tomorrow's challenge. I'm hoping my next SU! order arrives this week as well.
I've got some sneak peeks to share with you all week from All That Scraps.
These first ones are from Jen's line called Stampin' Spot Studio.
There is Soccer Sadie and Soccer Brandon.
I knew right away I wanted to make some picture frames for my girlfriend's kids.
They both have red hair....hehe! I had to double check to be sure I got their number right too....so cool that Jen included little numbers with this set!
Kayleigh needed to have some bling added to her frame! So I used a Making Memories "K" that is all glittery and also some little self adhesive jewels on the DP.
Here is one I made for Daniel...hope he doesn't mind the small amount of ribbon?! LOL!
I inked the chipboard "d" with Choc chip craft...I wanted to add glitter or something but that wouldn't be very boyish :(
Thanks for stopping by today!

It's all about men today!

Good Sunday Afternoon!
Sorry no early morning post today but I spent a great deal of yesterday with a headache so I just took it easy. I'm feeling GREAT today though!
It's a busy sports day here at the Easton house....
Oiler's are currently playing(and winning) and the Nascar race will be starting soon too! Go Gordon!
I was looking over Jen's sketch for this weekend and thought about making some holiday cards for some single men we know. I hope this one will do...even with that bow?!
Other than the ghost snowflake both of my cards are SU! only cards.
Stamps: Loads of Love; Cardstock: Bashful Blue, NQN, Olive, Watercolour paper and Maine Blueberry DP; Inks: Black Stazon, Bashful blue, Olive, NQN, Going Gray, Summer sun, Close to cocoa; Accessories: Aqua painter, Olive ribbon, Ghost snowflake, Dimensionals
I figured since I had out the masculine papers, I'd make a pick me up card for a male too! I have a ton of those Thinking Of You cards, but ALL are for women....
I kept this fairly simple since it was for a man....no bling ;)
This was made using Taylor's sketch #40. Instead of having the sentiment on the lower right hand corner I put it up top and made it a square rather than a circle.
Stamps: Loads of Love; Cardstock: Not Quite Navy, Old Olive, WW, Watercolour paper and Maine Blueberry DP; Inks: Black Stazon, NQN, Olive, Bashful blue, Going gray, Summer Sun, Celery; Accessories: Aqua painter, Mat pack and paper piercer, dimensionals, olive ribbon
Thanks for stopping by!

Good Morning
I'm not sure if you have heard but Laurie, a fellow OCC girl has gotten some terrible news this week about her daughter, Ali. Please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers. You can read more about it on SCS here. My heart aches for them.
((((Laurie)))) I'm sending big hugs your way.
I made this card earlier in week with Lauren's sketch and Denise's Challenge for the OCC this week.
The image was coloured with my copics on shimmery white cardstock. It's my FAVE way to colour these days...I love the look of copics on this paper!
A couple of weeks ago I received my All That Scraps order and in it was some of these cool Card Scents. I used the Cupcake scent on today's card...and boy does it smell yummy!
My fellow OCC girls!
Stamps: Stamping Bella Stella, Inkadinkado Birthday Cupcakes; Cardstock: Regal Rose, Shimmery White, Choc Chip and Sweet Always DP; Inks: Adirondack Black, Craft White; Accessories: Copic Markers, Circle Nesties, Circle Punches, White Brads, Dimensionals, Cupcake card Scents
The sketch came from Lauren's Saturday Sketch.
Stop by the Saturday Sketch Teams blogs to see what they cooked up this week.
