I {heart} these sketches!

Good Sunday Morning!
I am so happy it's Sunday and that I got all my chores done yesterday! I dusted, vacuumed, did laundry, cleaned the bathroom, did dishes, washed the car and grocery shopped....all before Noon! Pretty good eh?
You know what that meant? STAMP time!
I haven't been able to play along with Jen's sketches in a few weeks so I was happy to get to it this week. As I was planning what I was going to use, I looked over at the box of Silver HPH and knew I'd have to use some for sure ;) What good is it sitting there collecting dust?!
Stamps:Flight of the Butterfly; Cardstock: Choc Chip, Pink Pirouette, WW and Bella Rose DP; Inks: Choc Chip, Pink Pirouette; Accessories: Nesties, Embossing Folder, Pink Pirouette Ribbon, Silver HPH, Misc Buttons, Dimensionals
I'm so glad that Beate is back doing her sketch challenges! I didn't have much time on Friday to play along but I certainly made time yesterday! This DP is from American Crafts and I picked it up at Archiver's while in Boise. Not sure why I didn't order any DP to go with Pacific Point last time but I'll be sure to add it to my next order. I really like the Pacific Point :)
This card measures 4.25 x 8.5

Stamps: Boatloads of Love; Cardstock: Pacific Point, Baja Breeze, Pink Pirouette, WW, WC paper, American Crafts DP; Inks: Black Stazon, Pacific Point, SU! markers; Accessories: Aqua Painter, Nesties, Word Window Punch, Sm and Lg Oval Punches, Pacific Point Ribbon, Dimensionals

Bad To The Bone

Good Friday Morning!
I'm not sure I am excited it is the weekend...I mean I'm happy it's a long weekend but then Tuesday school starts. This summer has been fabulous and I loved not rushing in the mornings but it's time to get into a routine again....ugh...yuck!
Last night after dinner I sat down to work on some upcoming DT work but first needed to play with some of my new SU! stuff!!
I know most of you probably got this set Batty For You LAST year but I was a little slow jumping on the Halloween wagon.
This sketch is one I did a while ago from Taylor's blog.
Stamps: Batty For You; Cardstock: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, WW and Ghostly Greetings DP; Inks: Black, Pumpkin; Accessories: Black Brads, Circle Punches, Embossing Folder, Dimensionals

Penny Black Snowman

Before leaving for vacation, Jeanne hosted a Limited Supplies Challenge on SCS. I LOVE when she hosts....other than to use a snowman, there were no limitations!! Gotta love that sort of challenge!
I dug out my favourite Penny Black stamp from last year and got to work!
Stamps: Penny Black; Cardstock: Soft Sky, Barely Banana, PTI White; Inks: Palette Noir; Accessories: Copics, Circle Nesties, Lemon Tart Ribbon, Dimensionals, Misc Brads

I hope to get some stamping in this afternoon. I've been organizing my new goodies and can't wait to ink up some new stamps. I'll try to post some new stuff this afternoon though!

Flight of the Butterfly and ATS Challenge Card

Good Wednesday Morning!
I discovered something yesterday...I shouldn't have cleaned my stamping area before going on vacation....know why?!
I can't find things now...like my SAMJ...lol so that is why my dots don't line up very good with the solid butterfly image....I had to eyeball it...ugh!
I took Beate's suggestion yesterday and go find some challenges to get my creative juices flowing!
This first card is for Julee's Mojo sketch this week. When I first saw Tangerine in the catty I wasn't too sure of it but I'm liking it more and more ;)

Stamps: Flight of the Butterfly; Cardstock: Choc Chip, Tangerine, WW and Haiku DP; Inks: Choc Chip and Tangerine; Accessories: Nesties, Small and Lg Oval Punches, Choc Poly Twill, Scallop Edge Punch, Paper Piercer, Dimensionals

I loved the look of Beate's sketch from last week and really wanted to give it a go but struggled to find the right images. Since I had the Flight of The Butterfly out I stayed with that and the papers. This card is a 5 x 5 square.

Stamps: Flight of the Butterfly; Cardstock: Choc Chip, So Saffron, WW and Haiku DP; Inks: Choc Chip, So Saffron, Tangerine; Accessorires: Circle Nesties, So Saffron Brads, 1/4" circle punch, Dimensionals

It's Wednesday so that means it's time for another All That Scraps Challenge. This week we were challenged to make a SCENTED card. It's been forever since I pulled out some of my scented embossing powders. I've used the Sweet Treats stamp set because of the ice cream ;) The chocolate scoop is covered with Gel-A-Tins Gelly Powder scent Choc Bliss.

Since I made this before leaving for vacation and had this post ready to go...I don't know all the details on the card....sorry :(

Thanks for stopping by!

Giggle Grove

Good Tuesday Morning!
Can you believe I didn't stamp a darn thing yesterday??? I picked up so many things on my trip plus my box of SU! goodies were here waiting for me when we got home...now I don't know what to do with myself! Where has my creativity gone??? If you find it....let me know!
A couple of weeks ago I created this card for a sketch challenge on SCS. It's a good thing I hadn't shared it here because I'm running out of things to show you....lol
I didn't realize how much work it was getting posts ready for a vacation....whew!
I've used one of my fave Unity stamp sets called Giggle Grove with the Fall Flowers DP.
Thanks for stopping by!
Don't forget that today is the release for all the Little Paper Shop stamps that I've been previewing!

NSR- Pictures

Good Evening!
I haven't had much time today but wanted to share a few quick pics.
This first one is snapped in our hotel room in Boise.
I love this picture of Chloe on a ride at the Idaho State Fair...lol...it looks like she's scared!
She was so mad that I made her wear that hat! Poor thing forgot about it soon as she saw the animals at the Fair.
The next two pictures are from FOA Schwartz Toy Store in Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
I can't remember the price tag on that dragon but it was THOUSANDS of dollars...haha!
Here's a picture Chloe snapped of Brian and I sitting out by the fountains in Vegas.

Friends

Happy Monday!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We made it home around 11:30 last night so I'm bagged from 14 hours of driving Sunday. I'll spend Monday catching up and doing laundry. Thanks for visiting me while I was away....I'll be popping into your blogs in the next couple of days :)
I think this is one of my last cards from the Anni-VERVE-sary sketches. It's a fun one too! I've used some fun Chatterbox DP with Tangerine, Wasabi and Saffron cardstock. This Serenity stamp is one of my favourites and I've paired it up with a sentiment from Feeling Groovy.
This is my last sneak peek from Little Paper Shop before they all get released tomorrow. This set is called Friends.
I've inked up the letters and words with my SU! markers to go with the Tres Jolie Designer Papers.
Have a wonderful day!

Good Sunday Morning!

Good Sunday Morning!
Wow I had NO internet for like 4 days...wow! NOW that was a vacation...haha!
We had a change of plans and started our trip home yesterday. We decided to skip Disney for now but are going to meet our friends there for Christmas break instead! At first I thought Chloe would be disappointed but we do go to Florida/Disneyworld every February so it's not like she hasn't been before ;)
OH my freakin' goodness was it HOT in Vegas...but I LOVED it!!
I did hit that Viva Las Vegas store but it's nasty inside....they have cats and dogs in there and they do their "business" all over the place and it STUNK! So we left :(
The release for Little Paper Shop is getting closer!! Here is a sneak peek of a set called Going in Circles. I used Apricot Appeal and some Nana's Nursey DP for this cute little baby card.
Here is another Verve card I made for one of Julee's sketches a couple of weeks ago. Doesn't this My Mind's Eye DP go so well with the Floral Whimsy set?
Thanks for stopping by!

California here we come!

Good Saturday Morning!

Today we are leaving Vegas and heading to Anaheim. On our way we will stop at the Calico Ghost Town. Chloe loves that place...lol. I'm hoping it's not as hot as last year...omg...I about died from the heat....haha!

We've got another Our Creative Corner Challenge for you today! It's all about colour ;) Ruby Red, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Choc Chip(optional). I've decided to use my Unity set called Gratitude=Joy.

How about another sneak peek of a Little Paper Shop set?

This one is called Beautiful Things. Isn't the verse in this set wonderful? It's a two step stamping set...love those kind for making backgrounds.

I've used Riding Hood Red with Groovy Guava for this card, another fave colour combo of mine.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Friday!
Isn't this card groovy?! LOL!
This is another sneak peek of a set from Little Paper Shop called Peace. I thought that the sentiment and images went well with the Groovy Chatterbox DP!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Be sure to check back tomorrow for another Our Creative Corner Challenge!

It's a purple and yellow day!

Good Thursday Morning!
I'm in Vegas...or should be as I have pre-scheduled the posts...haha!
Little Paper Shop has some adorable images coming out on August 26th. This set is called Chirp and has some fabulous little images and sentiments in it.
I've used some of my fave Chatterbox DP along with So Saffron and Elegant Eggplant on this card.
I don't think I've loaded this card to my blog yet, if I have, I apologize~! LOL! Doing all these posts up in advance is really time consuming...lol but I didn't want to leave with nothing here ;)
This was a card I made for the Anni-VERVE-sary sketches. It uses So Saffron and Almost Amethyst as well as the Floral Whimsy set from Verve.
Thanks for stopping by....I appreciate you all sticking with me!

Vegas here we come!

Good Wednesday Morning!

Today we are leaving Boise and heading to Vegas! Yah! I can't wait to shop!! LOL! We had a FANTASTIC visit with my friend Michelle and her family. Yesterday we spent the afternoon at the Idaho State Fair...the kids had a blast! I'm not sure how much shopping I am going to need to do in Vegas...well stamping related...I got a TON of great stuff in Boise...between Archivers, Paper Cottage and The Craft Store I managed to get quite a few things I have not been able to get in Canada :)

I've got another SUInk card to share. I love this Core'dinations cardstock for the texture on one side. It is also available at SUInk along with this stamp set Roughin' It.

Are you ready for a sneak peek? Little Paper Shop will be releasing this stamp set called U Rock on August 26th. This is a small card that measures 3 x 6. If you are a Fan Club member on SCS you can view another cool sneak peek that is in the August Gallery HERE.
Wednesday's also mean it's time for an All That Scraps Challenge. This week it's a sketch challenge and we hope you will play along. You can find it on the ATS Blog. I've used Olivia and some SugarPlums sentiments.
Thanks for stopping by!

Backpack Tags

Good Tuesday Morning!!
Last week I showed you a backpack tag I made for Chloe. After making it, I knew I needed to make one for my friend's kids too! I didn't want to post them last week because I didn't want them to see these....lol
By now they have them and I'm hoping they like them...haha!
Both of these tags were made with stamps from Storage Units, Ink & More.
This boy stamp is from the Roughin' It stamp set.
This tag was made with the A touch of Class stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by!
ETA: I'm such a DORK! Shortly before the Canada/US border I realized that we forgot to pack a few things in the car....these backpacks being one of them....ugh! So I'll mail them when I get home.

Fishin'

Good Monday Morning!
Today I have a couple Storage Units, Ink & More cards to share with you. Both of these cards are made with Look What I Caught stamp set and Core'dinations textured cardstock.
I tried to repeat the circle theme from the designer paper....think it looks okay eh?
This card is large at 5 x 5.5
I've popped up the bait pail and hat on dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by!

Papertrey Cards

Happy Sunday!
I hope you all are enjoying your weekend!
These next two cards are made with Papertrey cardstock and stamps. I'm lucky enough to have a wonderful friend in Idaho that orders and then ships it to me. Believe it or not, it's cheaper to do it that way ;)
These cards were made with the PTI Lavender Moon Cardstock. The first one uses the Out on a Limb stamp set and the second uses the Snowflake Serenade stamp set.
This is one that didn't make it into the DD Gallery for this month. It wasn't quite what I had envisioned when I started it but I do like the end result.
Thanks for stopping by!
