MFT Teasers - Day One

Hello!

It's time for the MFT Sneak Peeks to begin! Aren't you excited?!

First up is an adorable new Fred Bear - Takes a Hike.

Totally fun eh?

I stamped an coloured Fred with Copics, added a little stitching and some flat bottom clouds.

Next up is Die and Stamp set called You Move Me.

I wanted something masculine that I could leave for my husband in his lunchbox.

Today the MFT gang have a wonderful sketch for you to play with!

For my card I have used the sweet new PI called My Little Firecracker.

I cut some night of navy cardstock using the Open Scallop Doily Dienamic and the ribbon tab was done with the First Place Award Ribbon Dienamic and Stamp Set.

The little itty bitty stars were cut using the Notched Tag Die and Stamp Set.

Dream Big

The mojo 195 sketch was a great CAS layout!

I used some fun Echo Park polka dotted paper along with the pretty Verve set called Dream Big.

A button, twine and ribbon finished the card off.

True Friend - Stampin' Up

Good Morning!

This week I am actually glad to be returning to work.

The weekend was super busy and super stressful.

Work will be a nice break.

Sunday I spent the day stamping some MFT sneak peeks that you'll see later this week.

Afterward I checked out Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch and came up with this Stampin' Up only card.

I can't recall the name of this designer paper but it was a favourite of mine a few years ago.

Friday morning I had an extra 20 minutes before work and I took advantage of it....

I stamped a quick 15 minute card for the Free 4 All challenge on SCS.

This week they asked us to use stripes.

Friends 'Til The End

This is my last week with the Sweet Stop :(

Things have just gotten too busy with work and I'm finding less and less time to stamp these days.

I know I almost always have a card here daily but that's because I sit down one day a week and stamp like mad....ha! Those times may be eliminated soon too....boo hoo!

My card today uses the Sweet Stop Sketch #114.

I wanted something bright and fun!

I reached for the PI You Color My World along with some fun Echo Park designer papers.

A little bit of stitching and some Upsy Daisy Die-namics were used to finish off the card.

Journey SSS113

This week the Sweet Stop has a fun sketch with a spin....a round card!

Last week I had picked up a really pretty pack of designer paper from Kaiser and was excited to use it again.

The black paper has a little bit of embossed shimmer to it. You can sort of see it in the photo.

For my card today I used some MFT butterfly dies. These are so fun to layer and pop up!

Here is an inside shot where I used the Clearly Sentimental About the Journey which is the triple scoop for June.

Come on Summer

While most of you are enjoying beautiful summer weather we are stuck with wet soggy-crummy-spring like weather still :(

I think I've put shorts on ONCE.

Geez my furnace still comes on every now and then at night...sad eh?!

It's been a little while since I last made a SU! only card and thought it was long overdue.

Stamps: Branch Out; Cardstock: White, Tangerine Tango, Haiku DP(retired); Inks: Choc Chip, Old Olive, Tangerine Tango, So Saffron, More Mustard; Accessories: Mat Pack and Paper Piercer, Dimensionals

As you can see I kept it very simple as are most of my SU cards. There is something about them that doesn't require too much of anything, kwim?

I stamped the leaves in Old Olive and then stamped again to give it more depth.

A single rose....

Hello!

I'm so glad you stopped by today :)

Last weekend I sat down to do a little "just because" stamping and it felt really good!

I decided to take a peek at what the MFT sketch #24 was for today and I thought I'd give it a whirl.

I used the Clearly Sentimental About Friendship and a few die-namics.

Rolled Rose, Decorative Doily and the leaves from Upsy Daisy.

The rose was created with the Strawberry Ice Cream and Sour Apple felts.

Verve's Little Things

It's so quiet in my house. I'm not used to it....lol

Chloe is off on her 4 day teepee trip to the mountains and probably having a blast!

Last weekend I sat down to case a card of Lauren's here.

I loved the colours and how she blocked the colours. I could have totally cased it as I have all the MTME stamps from my DT days there but that wouldn't be right.

So I pulled out my all time favourite set from VERVE!
